Stop what you're doing and head to Mah Kin! My husband and I thought we'd try this for a lunch date and we are so glad we did. The restaurant truly embraces the kindness and friendliness of Thailand, so welcoming. Our server made a recommendation for the handmade dumplings and my husband joked that it could've been his whole meal (he LOVED them). We also got the basil rolls and the peanut sauce rivals Thai Esan's (previously our favorite Thai restaurant in Chattanooga). My husband got the Pad Thai and I had the Drunken Noodles both at medium and we were very happy with the spice levels. I had a nice little nose sweat going on (like I like) and my husband said his was a pleasant balance. The owner came to check in on us and she was delightful--she has a lot to be proud of with this restaurant. Thank you for becoming our new favorite Thai place in the area! We will definitely be back. Also, for those of you who are vegan, they do offer vegan options!

Lacking flavor, taste, extremely bland w zero heat despite asking for Thai hot ! worst Thai I've ever had...

The service was good. We were greeted upon entering the front door. GOD AWFUL food!!!! Sorry but this was the worst Thai I've ever had.... I should have known to turn around after seeing no customers in the restaurant! we sat at a table and within a few minutes I saw 4 small red ants on our table. we ordered 2 chicken pad thai. 1 mild and 1 Thai hot For me. I like heat!! My dish lacked flavor, taste, was extremely bland not spicy whatsoever! It was very thick, like paste!! If you think this is good Thai then you've never had good Thai!!!! I will not recommend this place!!!

Visited Mah Kin today for the 1st time. Immediately greeted with a smile by both ladies. We ordered the Chor Thong (Thai dumplings), Drunken Noodles, and Pad Thai. My wife got the noodles mild, they had just a touch of heat. I got the Pad Thai hot and it was just enough to give me that perspiration below my eyes just like I like. All three dishes were exceptional. The dumplings were the star for sure. Our server was very attentive and made sure all of our questions were answered. We will definitely be returning soon.

Excellent new Thai restaurant. Only a couple of employees. Fresh, made to order food with top quality ingredients. Service can be a little slow, but worth th wait. I had the masamam curry chicken and a papaya salad. Both were exceptional. They have a quote on the wall about being invited into a Thai home and it lives up to that promise.

Really friendly staff and delicious food!! Very affordable and the portion sizes are very generous!! The inside of the restaurant is decorated nicely and it felt very relaxing. I absolutely love supporting local businesses over chain restaurants! We will definitely be coming back!

Pad keep mow chicken and pad thai beef

That was the driest, worst tasting thai food I've ever had. Maybe they are having an off day but some the noodles were still clumped together. There was barely any sauce and the meat was so dry and hard to eat. Ughhh. Never again. So not worth the money. Order: pad thai beef and pad kee mow chicken

I definitely recommend stopping by and giving this place a try. The restaurant just recently opened it's doors. The food had all the right flavors I have come to enjoy in Thai cuisine. The staff was very friendly and pleasant! I'm looking forward to visiting again and trying some new.

    D3 Kanom Pung Ping

We ordered the "D3 Kanom Pung Ping," meant to have toasted bread with sweet Thai tea, but the bread was frozen in the middle, and we got mango jam instead of the tea. When I asked about it, the staff said they'd do better next time, but I felt they should have informed me about the missing tea when taking the order.

I also know from friends that it hasn't changed and it's been just as good. I don't come through this area often, but my friends wanted to meet up and have dinner here. Also the ambiance is so cozy and home-y! It felt like something out of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, some kind of fantasy tale. They were quick to seat us, because we were a group of 5 we had the bigger booth upstairs in the back corner. Though we were seated quickly and our group trickled in after a few minutes, it took a long time for us to put our orders in. I feel like part of it is the booth placement in the corner. We spent a couple minutes trying to look at a server for eye contact haha. I ordered the Veggie Burger, which I loved as a college student years ago, and a cup of the Butternut Squash Soup. Everything was absolutely delicious. The Veggie Burger was so tasty, it came with a side of chips and a pickle slice. The burger was hearty, flavorful, and had veggies like sprouts and avocado that tasted very fresh. For me, it was a hit back then and it still is a hit now. And I wasn't planning on getting the soup, but I saw on the menu that if it was the soup of the day then the Salmon Chowder would be priced differently. And Salmon Chowder is probably my favorite soup of all time. However when we asked, the soup was Butternut Squash which was a good one too. We got a round of 4 Butternut Squash soups for the table lol. I just got the cup and I loved it. And the bread too! I wish I had another slice because I finished that in a couple bites. Anyways the soup was so delightful, it was so cozy and great. I loved the added nuts sprinkled on top, it gave a nice texture with the soup. I feel like with Butternut Squash, people have their preferences about savory and sweet soups and sometimes Butternut Squash tends to be more sweet. But I feel like Yellow Deli nailed the balance between the two. Also I had a bite of my friend's waffle ... and I have to say that was definitely a Top 5 Waffle I've ever had in my life. It was just one bite but it was extraordinary. I'm not trying to exaggerate, it was just that good. They have great quality food here and nice service. I had to dock off a star because we were waiting for a good 25-30 minutes just to order when we were ready. Other than that, we had a wonderful time.

The beets were fresh and the goat cheese carried so much flavor. For the desserts, we got the carrot cake with pecans and chocolate cheesecake. Both were soooo good. I would get both of them again, especially the carrot cake which was so warm and moist. And the candied pecans were such a nice complement to the cake - not too sweet at all. One time my parents and I came here after dinner for their gelato, and it was so delicious. We were all very impressed with the consistency and how smooth it was. So I've only had their gelato after all these years. This time I came for brunch with a friend on Sunday morning. It was packed and we got on the waiting list for a table. Wait time wasn't too bad actually. My friend and I both ordered the Hodgepodge Hash and I subbed the sausage for chicken sausage. Everything was absolutely amazing. I wish I had come here sooner. I loved everything about my meal. It was flavorful, dynamic, full of texture. It had that spice from the serrano peppers, crispy and flavorful potatoes, and the sauce tied it all together. I love savory breakfast, and that was it. Now I'm hungry and missing my previous meal just writing about it haha. Afterwards, we got gelato! I was pleasantly surprised that the gelato came with two scoops because I originally just wanted the coffee flavored one. So I had a scoop of Coffee + Cream and Pistachio. Our gelato was so tasty. I love anything coffee so this one was good, and the Pistachio one was nice and light. It had a subtle Pistachio creamy taste. Just as before, the gelato was smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. Service was great, our waiter was very friendly and super helpful with our food preferences. I have no complaints at all about our experience, and I love every single thing we ordered. Please take this review with a grain of salt. Today was probably not an exemplary day for Milk &…read moreHoney. Mother's Days are challenging, but I think where they hurt themselves the most is that they do not have a method to take reservations or even call ahead seating. Wait times were often in excess of an hour listening to other people waiting to be seated. That's a horrible experience on its face, and the management of this restaurant needs to do much much better or just close on Mother's Day. Next, we'll get to the food. I doubt it was a shining example of what they are capable of. I got the Shakshuka and it was mediocre. I'm not expecting it to be as good as what I would get in Tel Aviv, and I've had the real thing in Tel Aviv. But to be honest, the eggs came out nearly hard-boiled not poached. And the eggs are one of the stars of the show for this dish. If you don't get them right, the entire dish fails. Next will touch on the chicken and waffles. The observation from my tablemate was that it was dry and he didn't even eat it all. The same thing can be said for my other tablemate who had the chicken biscuit. The biscuit was exemplary, but the chicken was dry and actually overcooked. Then there were the omelettes, I don't believe they were impressive in any way and the people that ordered them agree. For those of us at the table that ordered coffee, it was rather strong. I normally like strong coffee, but this was borderline Turkish coffee, and there wasn't enough cream available to mask the potency. The service was also stretched thin. Our server, Destiny, did her best, but she was waiting too many tables. Having once been a waitermyself I have a special affinity for Service staff who are asked to do too much. We left her a good tip, but I'm sure she is capable of much better service than what she was allowed to deliver. Finally, the overwhelming crowd made the restaurant feel claustrophobic. The noise level was far too high, and we could barely hear one another at our table and we were sitting very close to one another. I don't place the blame on the kitchen, staff, or the wait staff, or even the greeters. This was a fail of management, plain and simple. They made no contingency plans for that many people and should have anticipated a larger crowd on Mother's Day. Management -I challenge you to do better!!! We will come back during a normal Service day to see if you can perform better, but I encourage you, as owners and managers, to stop setting your staff up for failure, which is what you did!
