This is our main grocery store here in Bend. We can find most things. Only critiques are: 1. bulk area. The offerings are getting smaller and smaller. And there are never peanuts in the fresh peanut butter machine. Bulk is an easy way to reduce plastic consumption. By lessening bulk offerings I feel forced to buy plastic wrapped goods which is disappointing. This alone is making me consider going to Market of Choice instead which has the best bulk aisles I've seen in Bend. 2. There is no seating if you want to eat something you purchased at deli/cold case before shopping. Instead it's been taken over by self check out and curbside pick up orders. Frustrating and Inconsistent Hours…read more We travel to the Valley most weekends to care for elderly parents and often stop in for quick takeout sandwiches around 6:45 p.m., which has been convenient--until recently. Although closing time is listed as 7 p.m., this is now the third time we've arrived around 6:45 and found the restaurant already closed. Most recently, my husband walked in at 6:43 p.m. and was told they were closed as the lights were turned off, even though the "OPEN" signs were still on. We understand wanting to close up on time, but if the restaurant is consistently closing before 7, the posted hours should reflect that. It's frustrating to plan around advertised hours only to find the doors already shut. Please either honor the 7 p.m. closing time or update the listed hours so customers know what to expect. Consistency would really help.

She was genuinely nice to me, I had a great customer service experience with her. She really made me feel that local true community feeling, honestly how it should be. She was so nice when I mentioned it was my first time - she truly authentically welcomed me with such a kind tone and even walked me through signing up for their points system (much better than Market of Choice coupons this actually adds up toward your grocery bill)!!!
