Jeni is the one who worked with me to get from the point I was at originally (lack of mobility, in a great deal of pain, and completely unable to relax) to a place where I was not only practicing yoga daily. But my mobility had improved, and my pinched nerves were only a bad memory. I let things slide for a long while. And needless to say my body rebelled. All it took was one long overdue visit with Jeni, and things were back on track. She is in tune with what each client needs. So you won't be getting a generic massage from her, unless that is exactly what you are requesting, & then I'm assuming she could meet that requirement. Jeni wants to work with each individual client to ensure that they get what THEY need from the massage. Communication is key in this situation. If you, as a client do not tell the massage therapist what you are needing or expecting, they can't exactly provide it. But Jeni knows the right questions to ask, & she is extremely intuitive and responsive to the different issues, & the anatomy. She will improvise if needed depending on your situation. In my case, I had some "problem areas", & she suggested some options for the current massage, as well as future massages that might benefit me more, & gave me the input afterwards for discussion. I get the sense that Jeni is genuinely passionate and determined to improve the quality of life for each of her clients. She does what she can to lead me down the path to wellness, even when I have been slacking in some of the areas that are essential for maintaining the zen, peace, and painless state I am hoping to achieve. My two cents for seeing Jeni, and any other providers you are seeking service from in your life -- COMMUNICATE what it is you are expecting from the experience. It is not their job to read your mind. Ask questions, speak up, and know that you being communicative will enhance your experience, and most likely get the best results. I did just that, and I am mighty happy with the outcome. My scapulas, neck, and calves are, too. NOTE: The location is nice, quiet office park, with plenty of parking in a lot. There is one flight of stairs to reach the space itself.
