I had asked them to do an alignment on it because it wasn't steering properly and it's a brand new car with under 5k miles so I obviously wanted it straightened out. They said they would look at it and get it fixed up. I dropped it off on a Monday morning and on Friday they were calling me telling me the car was still missing a piece but they wanted me to pick it up anyway (yeah I'm not picking up an incomplete car just to fit their time quotas). They suddenly had the back ordered part it was missing a few minutes later and were able to complete it so I went and picked it up that Friday. The alignment was still off from first driving it away but I decided to have my dealership fix it when i went in for an oil change a few weeks later figuring they'd do a better job anyway. At the dealer I was told that my car still had a bent axel arm from the accident, something that them running an alignment immediately told them. So my question is did Minsers completely miss the $1700 of damage this was or did they find it and decide it wasn't important enough to fix (I'm not sure which is worse). I then called my insurance company and they told me I had to take my car back to Minsers despite my objections. I took the car back the day after the dealer found the damage and was told they would get it fixed up. After I had dropped it off I got a call from them informing me there were allegedly scratches on my wheel insinuating I had further damaged the vehicle not related to the accident. I'm not sure what was going on with that or what they were trying to pull but I obviously had not damaged my vehicle and the call ended with that. I got my car back today and it appears to be fixed and driving like new again which I appreciate (and expect). I looked at all of my wheels and there are no scratches to be found which is interesting to me as there we're supposed "fresh" scratches on a wheel. All in all yes my car is now fixed after bringing it to them twice. They seemed to use genuine GM parts which is also a positive. Although I felt as if they were trying to take advantage of me and possibly scam me due to me being a young woman and not knowledgeable about cars. Pictures to show that the damage wasn't even that extreme.

A place you can trust!!!…read more I unfortunately wrecked my car pretty bad a few years ago and took it here for repair. It was in bad shape and they did a wonderful job of putting it back together. Someone keyed my car and another person sideswiped it and left some marks on each side of the car. I took it in for a face lift today and it looks brand new again. The owner is very nice and even had my car cleaned up for me when I came to pick it up. I would recommend this place to anyone.

In the past, we have NEVER had any work done on our cars in Canada, because most of the shops are nothing but a bunch of crooks. I would include in this list Canadian Tire, which has (like most other things) a nice little monopoly...and charge like gangsters. UNTIL NOW!!! We just had some work done at Demarios and were THRILLED by the service and the price. John, the owner, was very professional from the first minute (I met him via YELP) and was absolutely true to his word. We have FINALLY FOUND an auto repair place in Windsor that we trust!!! This shop pasted a safety of a vehicle I bought. When I called they said they'd call back once they…read moretalked to all parties. They never did. I called back few days later. Apparently management changed, the tech who signed off on the safety was no longer there. They denied everything they had told me the first day. They told me this guy that sold me the vehicle brings in at least two vehicles a month for safety. When I called the second time they mistakened me for different vehicle for the same issue, a supposed passed safety. Clearly something is going on in this shop. I wouldn't trust buying another vehicle that was safetied by this shop.

Kevin - or whatever his name is - was dismissive and brusque, which I hoped was the hallmark of a guy so good at what he does that courtesy had become an afterthought. Well, I was wrong. Although he quoted me "a week or two," it ended up taking the better part of a month. Every time I called, I got some runaround about how "we don't bother Kevin in the booth" like he was some kind of savant. Apparently he couldn't match the paint without the intervention of their "paint rep," which begs the question how they get anything painted at all. When I did finally get the call, I was irritated to find that he had also painted the piece of trim I'd supplied as a reference, which sort of defeats the purpose, doesn't it? On top of that, there are runs, sags, and s**t in the paint...like, did you spray this on the ground outside with one hand over your eyes? I guess I shouldn't be surprised at the results when I recall seeing a gallon jug of cheap vodka on the floor behind the counter when I picked up the parts. There's a bit from Calvin and Hobbes where he's supposed to be shoveling snow or something, and is deliberately making a hash of it. He explains to Hobbes that "I find if you do a job poorly enough the first time, you often don't get asked to do it again." So, I didn't ask again. I am sorry to have trusted that jerk with parts of a car that's very special to me, and I intend to find a friendlier, more competent shop to fix his lousy work.
