Good food! Came in for an early dinner, was sat by the window which was nice. Drinks were decent, somewhat strong but enjoyed. Would recommend the "Aviation" or the White Sangria. This place is beautiful. It's facing a private airport and you can watch planes take off on the strip. I called ahead to ask if there was a chance I'd see any take off during my 645 reservation but the woman on the phone says she didn't know ... and when I got there the host said the same thing. They both stated they just started working there ... and didn't bother to ask any of the other staff what the odds were. I was seated at my table after arriving, via the hostess. I waited 15 minutes for DRINKS, my server was no where in sight. Given their limited, and honestly bland menu, and the delay in the drinks, I knew I wasn't going to eat there.. let alone get my drinks. So I left without seeing my server as I walked thru the restaurant to the exit. I would never go back here for anything .. anything other than the beautiful view and I'd probably only order a soda. This was the first time I have been there since it was restaurant 121 before the pandemic. The setup is still the same, except that it looks like they added an outdoor patio. It's nice that you are able to still see the airplanes taking off and landing. This is 100% a date location. The waitress was friendly and attentive and took our order promptly. I ordered the Volo burger w/ an "impossible burger" patty. It can on a brioche bun w/ mushrooms and sautéed onions, cheese, lettuce, tomato and an aioli dressing and a side of fries. It was very flavorful. My daughter ordered the garlic knots and a margarita pizza, they both were light and flavorful. I had a great time, it was a nice atmosphere and a quiet crowd. At last. The restaurant where the old 121 has been resurrected. I knew it was open for a few months but they started to open the dinner. We went on a Wednesday night to finally check them out. The inside hasn't been changed much. The biggest difference that I saw was only tables for 2 along the window. I think I much preferred the table for 4 along the windows of the previous restaurant. Maybe they should consider putting a few table for 4 along the window? Especially for families with kids. Taylor was our server for the night and she was wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. We ordered a few goods from the menu. Wings, burger, short ribs, penne alla vodka. Everything was much better than expectations. I would say better in food quality than the previous restaurant. The tiramisu and the chocolate lava cake were exceptional. Overall I was very happy with the dinner at the new Volo. Looking forward to going again! read more

We live very close to the airport and loved 121 so was very exited when a surprise new restaurant opened. Came on a nice summer day for lunch and seated near the window had a nice view of a few planes landing. Food was all excellent and portions were very large. The truffle sauce was a bit different than most places truffle sauces but was ace and worth going back just for that. Looking forward to come back when they have full dinner service and alcohol. They advertise on Instagram at 2:30 Saturday the weekend Prime Rib special, neighbors called at 4:30 for a reservation and were told no specials were available. There seems to be a major problem with communication and management. My advice: if you have a gift card, redeem very soon. My family and I used to love the former 121 Restaurant, so we were very excited to go back for a big family dinner before Christmas. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and it was a treat to get to enjoy the Oxford airport runway again. They had some festive drinks for the holiday, and though they took a little long to make, we let it go. Appetizers arrived, and all were good, though the garlic knots could've been a bit softer, and the complimentary bread was ice cold like it had just come out of the fridge. We arrived at 6 for our reservation and didn't receive our dinners until nearly 7:30pm, and though it was a Sunday night before Christmas, the restaurant only had a few tables. The waitress apologized profusely and explained that most of their chefs were on vacation and that there were only 2 people back there cooking. We were shocked to hear that management wouldn't have planned this better, or maybe not have allowed us to make a reservation for 7 people knowing they were this understaffed. My poor dad waited long after everyone had received their meals to finally receive his scallop special, and my mother in law ordered the Buddha bowl, and the rice was so hard that it seemed to be day old, or had to have been sitting out for quite a while. She only took a few bites and sent it back to the kitchen, deciding not to order anything else. Everything else was okay, but we weren't blown away. I honestly would've given this review a 2 start rating, but our server really went out of her way to make it right in the end, and we were very appreciative of that. She took the scallops off the bill for the terribly long wait, as well as the Buddha bowl since my mother in law sent it back. They also took off the first round of drinks for the long wait for dinner, and she waived the automatic gratuity for larger parties. It's rare to find a restaurant that will own their mistakes to this extent and make it up to the customer. For this reason, I would consider giving Volo another chance. While I feel the service may be better on a second visit, I'm not so sure about the food. I know they're newer but I hope they can improve. read more

Sunday October 26, 2025 at 6:30, walked in and let the hostess know I was siting at the bar for a drink and dinner service. She acknowledged affirmatively. Waited 15 minutes with no bartender or anyone that may be a bartender insight, I was the only bar patron. The restaurant was moderately busy but not to have a full time bartender incompetent on management behalf In response to you're answer: Jonni, Thank you for the quick response. You had two (2) servers on staff, not a full time bartender insight. The two women sitting at the high top in the bar confirmed this. Let's all work to be better, no excuses for just two people on staff on a Sunday unless there are other reasons. As I'm sure you're aware in the 20th century most people of all ages have gravitated to bar seating, dining and service. You were understaffed and no full time bartender was a mistake OR only one server scheduled was. Bottom line: let's do better! read more

Ordered a glass of Chardonnay with my meal. Didn't specify a particle one nor was I asked. Chardonnay was warm and flat, I actually put ice in it. My husband payed the bill and upon arriving home asked if I knew I ordered a $17 glass of wine. I guess if you don't specify you get the most expensive. Which I wouldn't mind but I've ordered Chardonnay enough to know the difference between a good Chardonnay and a mediocre, and this was below a mediocre. Their menu was a mix of American and Italian food; from our group, half the group loved their dishes and the other half found the food to be decent. We flew up for a birthday dinner tonight after calling to check on if they could accommodate my food allergy. They assured us they could after being told exactly what it was. Upon arrival, they found excuses for me to not eat anything on the menu except shrimp cocktail. The final straw was when I asked specifically about maybe just getting getting French fries and that was when I was finally told "the chef doesn't feel comfortable..." and I requested a manager. Quite awhile later no manager shows up so we decided to cut our losses and leave, that is when we found out the manager had *just* left without coming to the table. Apparently they just lied to us over the phone and after the considerable expense of flying there, left me without an actual meal. We had eaten there when it was 121 many times with no problems. We went because there was a great specials menu. We were seated and never told that absolutely everything on that menu was unavailable! The waitress was great and it certainly wasn't her fault. Thrilled. Went to Happy Hour! Great drinks made by the nicest bartender Ari! Great drink! Then enjoyed the most delicious pizza margarita. Thin crust . Very much like the NYC pizza style. Excellent cheese. I noted wine was 5 dollars a glass Last night 4 of us returned. We had an excellent waitress Brianna? She was funny and very attentive . The salmon special was delicious. A plumb sauce with Asian fried rice and sugar snap peas. My friend had a steak he loved. My husband the Volo burger. Dessert is made in house, delicious. At first, we were delighted to be back at this great location for dining under new ownership. Unfortunately our small group of 4 adults, a toddler and an infant ended up disappointing. The wine that was served was noticeably a bottle that had been opened for a while and was stale. So we asked for a new bottle to be opened. Two classic burgers ordered (very good) a salmon dinner and a steak. Our meat dinners were served in a timely fashion and we started to eat and had already finished our dinner as my husband waited patiently for his salmon (good thing he ordered an appetizer). We flagged down our waitress only to find out she forgot to place the salmon order! Fifteen minutes later he received his salmon (very good) but it was 40 minutes after he placed his original order with the rest of us.The place was not crowded at all and there seemed to be plenty of staff. Maybe she was a new waitress, if so, waitresses typically stop by shortly after food is served and ask how everything is and she did not. When we received our bill, we were automatically charged a 20% tip for our "large party of 6". The fact that they included the infant was pretty petty IMHO. No compensation in the error of forgetting to place the salmon order either. If they want to stay in business they need to polish their act. read more

Made reservation for 13 on a Friday afternoon at 1:00 (after lunch rush and before Happy Hour) and was greeted by the sole waitress... We all enjoyed our food (pizzas, salads and pastas?- grilled shrimp on Caesar was amazing!). Major drawback in my mind was waitress had no assistance. There was another floor worker who could have helped out, but we were left with empty water glasses and a tableful of empty lunch plates when dessert arrived. We just ate at Volo for the first time since it was 121. I had the shrimp Creole and Grits and it was fantastic, my wife had the Buda bowl that she loved, both had very generous portions. Our friends had the Lemon Thyme Salmon dish that he loved and brought half of it home, his wife had the Chicken Penne a la Vodka who also took half of it home. Our server ( Hailey ) was very bubbly and friendly and an excellent server. The General Manager was also very helpful and friendly. It was a very comfortable restaurant to eat at and we will definitely be going back to it read more

I LOVE this place! We usually sit at the bar. Artie, the bartender, is extremely sweet and provides excellent service. Very friendly staff, manager talked to us for a while. And the food...great! They have a happy hour with Calabrese chili wings...I haven't been able to get those out of my head they were so good! The burger was big (I couldn't even finish it) and high quality, tasty!! And Artie was great about accom.odating me with fresh lime juice for my Margarita. Fun to watch the planes take off through the large windows. You can also see the sunset.
