[[HIGHLIGHT]]The technician could not speak English and needed a phone translation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He told me it was a switch and the part cost $125 while labor would be $250 because changing out an electric part was dangerous. I paid the $69 diagnostic fee and ordered the part from Amazon for $12 and watched a YouTube video and it took me 40 minutes to replace the switch. I will NEVER call Volt Repair again. They are rip off artists trying to take advantage of folks who don't understand. Beware! read more

I was given an estimate, for which I had to put down 50% before the work was even started. The day Ethan came, it was believe that the problem was fixed, but within 15 minute of leaving, I had the same problem. At this point I had paid the estimate in full. The next day Ethan came and said he brought the part and if should be fixed in no time, but after time my washer sounded like a motor cycle shooting off in to space. Higher ups were contacted for assistance and after 3 hours I was told that Ethan would return the next day with additional parts that he was sure were the problem. The next day arrived and again after 3-4 hours there was no progress and I was told that he wanted to return yet again the next day. I had appts, so Thurs, was out bur he could return on Friday. I assume it was his boss that returned with him on Friday saying they had other new parts and would have it fixed. After another 3 hours, I said this is it, you have not fixed the problem in fact at times it was worse and my time has been wasted, I want a refund on this job that was not done. I was told that they had already spoken to the owner and they would be returning the $$ for the estimate. After 7 days, no refund, they told me they talked to the back and it would take 21 days, after 21 says still no refund, now I was told that they had spoken to the back and it would take 30 days???? I contacted the bank to ask the validity of this statement and the back said they has just gotten the actual refund request the day before. I will never use this company again and if asked I will tell them to go else where. Not only was my problem not fixed after many visits, but untruths were told to me regarding the refund that was to be done. read more
