I have a dual GE Café gas oven/range, and the larger oven stopped working. I called Top Repair and…read morea tech came out to assess it -- turned out the igniter needed to be replaced. He didn't have the part on hand, so I paid for the part and the service call. He estimated 7-10 business days, but they got it in just 3, so my oven was back up and running in less than a week. After he installed the igniter, we ran a test on all the functions and discovered the convection wasn't working. He pulled the stove out, ran a diagnostic, and showed me that the control board was burnt out and not getting power. Replacing it would run $600, so I chose to hold off since the oven itself works fine and I rarely use the convection feature but I'll definitely be calling them back when I'm ready, because a new range runs about $4K and that's not a conversation I want to have right now. Total cost for the igniter repair was $300. The tech was knowledgeable, efficient, and got the job done without any drama. I highly recommend Top Repair they'll get you up and running again without breaking the bank, and the quality of work is top notch.

UPDATE: Triton finally called me back and was able to issue the reimbursement for the compressor…read more Thanks to Mario for following up after my review and working to make it right. Appreciate it! My LG refrigerator died recently and I needed it repaired ASAP. Triton was able to come the soonest so I went with them. They came right away and fixed the problem- the fridge needed a new compressor. So far so good. The job ended up costing around $1350. $950 for the labor and $400 for the part. Super expensive I know but still cheaper than getting a new fridge. The problem was that the compressor was still under warranty and the repair man said that they could reimburse us for the part if we call LG to have them replace it after the fact. He assured me that this is common practice and he's done it several times before. Ok so I pay them, call LG, give them all the info they asked for and they say they will send Triton the new part in 3-4 weeks. A month goes by and I call Triton about the reimbursement. The guy says he needs to check with his warehouse or inventory manager or something to see if the part arrived and would call me back. I never heard back. I tried again the next week. Same thing- he needs to check with his inventory guy and will get back to me. No call back. I call again and you'll never guess what happened. Yes same story. And now I am writing this review because I'm starting to think I'm not getting that $400 back. Ugh. Still I can't give only 1 star bc they did fix it and they were courteous the whole time they were here. 2 stars it is.

Despite not being able to fix my microwave in the end due to missing parts, the team was honest and responded well to feedback and refunded all the fees for me. I appreciate the honesty and how understanding the team is. They could've kept the money and not refunded me, but they did. Repair cost was cheaper than getting a brand new microwave. If you go with triton for the repair, they will wave the initial inspection fee. Will be using them again.

Another company came out to look, didn't even open the outer panel of the unit, acted like they were diagnosing the problem, jiggled switches and said that we needed a new timer that would take another week to arrive. My brother who has used Atech services a number of times in the past with great results recommended Jesus. When I contacted Jesus and told him about what the dryer was doing, unlike other "service technicians" we had talked to, Jesus had immediate ideas for correcting the problem, citing a possible worn out switch or blown fuse. We were a little outside of Atech's service area but Jesus was willing to accommodate us. He arrived on time. He was professionally dressed, and respectful. He wore a mask for our protection and his This is a one person business. Jesus learned his profession apprenticing to his father. No frills, no games, no jacking up the price of parts to increase company profit, no purchased favorable Yelp reviews, no bait and switching of technicians of questionable skill levels while the customer waits for a part to arrive that is not going to correct the problem. Jesus is the real deal, an expert with integrity who enjoys his work and enjoys providing a useful service. He arrived at our house and got to work , had the panel off immediately, looked under the hood and diagnosed the problem, a defective switch, confirming his original theory from our initial phone conversation. Jesus had the replacement part in his tool kit and had it installed in a short time, and we were back on the road. The washer works beautifully today like it was originally intended to work. Jesus charged slightly more to fix the problem in one visit then the other guys charged for their first "diagnostic " visit, and with them we would still be looking at additional labor costs to install the expensive part that would not have fixed the problem necessitating additional service calls and expense. Jesus charged about 30 percent of what the other guys had in store for us, and ten days from now we might still have been sitting in limbo with a non-functional washer waiting for the next salvo of charges. Atech repairs all large appliances. Lessons for me: trust your instincts. When a service person isn't willing to advance a theory over the phone about the cause of the problem they either have very little experience with the problem, or you are being played to separate you from as many of your hard earned dollars as possible before the problem you are describing is actually fixed. Jesus is the true gem, the needle in the haystack deserving of our business.

Jesus answered her call Saturday morning and was at her house that afternoon. He was responsive, patient and kind and was ultimately able to fix the washer sparing her from having to purchase a new one!! While he was there she mentioned another problem she was experiencing with her freezer and needless to say he fixed that too! Now when I put into words he was able to help her, I can't emphasize enough the amount of stress relief he bestowed to her, and I'm so grateful for that. Price was reasonable, excellent same day service! Highly recommend. Thank you Jesus!

Extremely unhappy with Mikhail Roytman…read more He arrived significantly earlier than agreed upon - refused to wear any sort of mask (he said he had breathing problems) and would not wear booties to cover his shoes. I can understand someone having breathing issues and not being able to mask - that can be something that happens to people - I'm not sure why it was a hassle for him to slip elasticized shoe covers on. He went to the kitchen, took parts off to look at the wiring situation - said it would be $345 - and then put the parts back into the oven when we didn't have enough. He then wanted to be paid for a service call - he said it would be $115. Over the phone, before this appointment, he hadn't been forthcoming about how much an oven repair would cost, not even a ballpark range, or a service call fee ($345 and $115 respectively). When told that on the spot, we only had access to less than a hundred at the moment, he said he'd take that plus $20. He charged what we had at the moment. As soon as he was paid via venmo, he then said he'd be back to work on the actual oven when we were ready. He started putting his tools away and the parts back into the oven - when we offered to put the racks back in, he said that he was afraid we would mess it up. He put everything back, and then left. We called him, still unsure what the plan was. He listened until he assumed we were trying to get free labor out of him - we attempted to explain that it was weird to pay someone for nothing, especially since he hadn't disclosed before the fact that we would even need to pay anything during/after that visit. He asked what we expected, did we expect him to repair the oven for free? We did not. He then rushed us off the phone, saying to cancel the payment - he wouldn't do it for us. We had to call venmo to cancel the money transfer, which is not instant. This was the first time we attempted to use this service, it's very unfortunate Mikhail Roytman was so uncooperative. Lesson learned - don't assume contractors will be forthcoming about fees.
