Dr. Matt was honest with me about my horse and extremely patient. He took the time to explain things to me and I could tell that he actually cared about my horse and I. You can tell that he is extremely knowledgeable about the products that he uses and would not do anything unless necessary. I have spent absurd amounts of money on unnecessary things at some vets and am not worried about that with Dr. Matt. If you don't need it, he won't do it, and he'll tell you. It was a refreshing experience with Dr. Matt, as we have been "burned" before. I'll be taking all my pets there from now on. :)

Their waiting room is no more than 50sq ft & for whatever reason have 10+ ppl scheduled at the same times? With no space at all in the waiting room, a very hyper pup along with other animals everywhere, I've sat outside multiple times for 30-45mins PAST my appointment time & today was the last time. I watched multiple people that walked in 15-20 mins after me, get called before me. When I questioned this, the reception girl very rudely tells me it's going to be an additional 15 min wait, with no apology or explanation. A full 50 mins after my appointment time & I decide to leave without service. Unfortunately will not be returning.

Vet #10 & counting 2. Too many unqualified vets trained abroad (islands & East) 3. Poor craft of knowledge 4. Poor cust svc 5. Unsavory & less than mentally sound techs 6. Creepy vets These are just a few gd reasons why we travel so far. Our Darby Darling: We lost our paw princess Sat., 7am on 4/24/21 as she quietly fell asleep in death over nite. Windermere Vet #10: We went to our 10th Windermere vet 3 miles fm our hm. We decided to engage the Windermere vet, during the pandemic, for just such an emerg. Their Sat. hrs. were 8am-1230pm but it was dark bet. 8am-10am. We saw 6 cars at the annex bld, knocked on the glassdoor, a male waved for us to wait, turned sideways, cont. on his call, not mindful enough to call another staffer, & we waited til 10am. They kept us waiting fm 8am-10am. We were the only customer car in the lot & all lites were off. We finally called Countryside, left, & took the hr. drive down the 429 to I4. Countryside: We wiped our well groomed little girl, dressed her in her lovely yellow floral dress, laid her on her fuchsia ladybug blanket, rolled her yellow blankie under her head, & placed her in her cozy bed. We were rec'vd with compassion & Our Darby girl will recv an honorably rest fm her final journey.

I kept asking for the vet because this is not how it goes. My poor baby suffered so bad for the last 10 minutes of her life. When he came back in with the vet my poor suffering baby tried to get under my husband's legs but all she could do was move her head but he came over and pinned her head to the floor while the vet came in and killed her. My poor baby suffered so badly the last 10 minutes of her life because this guy who calls himself a nurse tortured her. He tortured her. He had his hands around her throat as he was pinning her head down. She was tortured to death instead of peacefully leaving this earth. If you want your pet last minutes of life to be tortured go there. The guy who thinks he is a nurse at a vet specializes in torturing your pet.

With that said... ***** My precious furbaby, Kali, has been under the care of Dr. Deb for approximately 12 years. She, and Deland Animal Hospital, was referred to me by my parents, who were referred by neighbors. I can't stress enough the personal concern and utmost care and respect extended to me by not only Dr. Deb, but the techs with whom I've interacted and office staff, especially Sherry. Kali, a 16-year-old rescue from Hurricane Katrina is thriving and enjoys playing with her brother, approximately 4 years old, rescued after being dumped in our apartment condo. Thank you, Dr. Deb for not only caring so very much for each animal to whom you minister, but for caring for my worries/concerns for my little Kali. I only wish I could give 10 stars. She would not come to my Sisters home to perform an exam and possibly having to put my elderly Moms Golden Retriever down, because she lived off the beaten path. My Sister lives on a non County maintained road and this Vet told her that she would not take her vehicle down her road. "I take Care of my Vehicles" Wow, way to show Empathy! This Vet did not help and not very compassionate in time of need. I would not give this Mobile Vet the time of day in the future, or refer or recommend to anyone. Hopefully from this feedback, I have helped others to make an informed and helpful decision.
