Creepy vets These are just a few gd reasons why we travel so far. Our Darby Darling: We lost our paw princess Sat., 7am on 4/24/21 as she quietly fell asleep in death over nite. Windermere Vet #10: We went to our 10th Windermere vet 3 miles fm our hm. We decided to engage the Windermere vet, during the pandemic, for just such an emerg. Their Sat. hrs. were 8am-1230pm but it was dark bet. 8am-10am. We saw 6 cars at the annex bld, knocked on the glassdoor, a male waved for us to wait, turned sideways, cont. on his call, not mindful enough to call another staffer, & we waited til 10am. They kept us waiting fm 8am-10am. We were the only customer car in the lot & all lites were off. We finally called Countryside, left, & took the hr. drive down the 429 to I4. Countryside: We wiped our well groomed little girl, dressed her in her lovely yellow floral dress, laid her on her fuchsia ladybug blanket, rolled her yellow blankie under her head, & placed her in her cozy bed. When he came back in with the vet my poor suffering baby tried to get under my husband's legs but all she could do was move her head but he came over and pinned her head to the floor while the vet came in and killed her. My poor baby suffered so badly the last 10 minutes of her life because this guy who calls himself a nurse tortured her. He tortured her. He had his hands around her throat as he was pinning her head down. She was tortured to death instead of peacefully leaving this earth. If you want your pet last minutes of life to be tortured go there. The guy who thinks he is a nurse at a vet specializes in torturing your pet.

I watched multiple people that walked in 15-20 mins after me, get called before me. When I questioned this, the reception girl very rudely tells me it's going to be an additional 15 min wait, with no apology or explanation. A full 50 mins after my appointment time & I decide to leave without service. Unfortunately will not be returning.

They did x-rays and blood tests. They would not prescribe a broad spectrum antibiotic at all. They wanted us to hospitalize the dog for another $3300. They finally tested the urine for a UTI and then came back extremely mild. So they finally prescribed a broad spectrum antibiotic, which is not helping. It looks like Meningitis. Cure is steroids. They didn't treat or test for that at all. If my dog dies, I will be suing.

The dr and assistant carefully looked her over and diagnosed the problem, a calcium deficiency. They said they could X-ray her and perform tests, but the expense was unnecessary. They're not motivated by greed like many other veterinarians. They sold me a supplement for about $15 to feed her to try and bring her around. They said unfortunately she may not make it. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. They said it's typical for geckos to seem completely fine, but once they show symptoms of sickness they're usually too far gone to recover. My daughter was so distraught, and they were so kind in trying to comfort her. The next day they called to see how our Gecko was doing and asked if I had any concerns. The gecko got much better at first, but passed away within a month. It was sad, but we had the comfort of knowing we did all we could for her. Thanks to the caring staff at Pine Ridge animal hospital. They genuinely care for the animals.
