Denzel, the new owner of six months, has kept up the good name of this business, and the service was exceptional. We appreciated his friendliness, and we found him to be as honest and transparent as is his policy. Our vehicle was fixed and ready to go faster than estimated, which was a terrific bonus for us. Best Choice is now our go-to automotive repair business. The labour charge is on par with a good automotive service shop. You can likely you can find some cheaper places, however, we've had the experience that you get what you pay for. We experienced that today. One of the issues we had with our vehicle was that we had taken it for an oil change at a chain-business (looking at you, "Mr.") because it was less expensive. We certainly got what we paid for: cheap price and bad service. Unknowing to us, the oil filter that was not put on properly, and over a bit of time a litre of oil leaked out as we were driving around. We can't even imagine the cost if all the oil had had all been lost. We appreciate that inexperienced people learn to change oil and may make mistakes while learning at chain-businesses, but we cannot afford to have their inexperience cause us issues with our car. From now on we will go to Best Choice to have our oil changes done by a trained and qualified automotive service technician. It's likely going to cost more than a chain-business would charge, but to prevent what would have been 1000s of dollars in damage makes it a smart move in our opinion. Car repairs can be costly, and we admittedly have a small income, but better to spend a little more to take care of our car and give up something else from our tight budget than not to have a working vehicle. Also, on the humourous side, Denzel was completely non-judgemental when he repaired the mistake we made and explained what we did wrong on a car repair we did ourselves. Thanks, Denzel -- appreciate that! Best Choice is our top choice, and we highly recommend them.

They also are very thorough and accommodating. Perhaps because their reputation precedes them, it's a bit harder to get faster response time with inquiries as we'd normally want and expect, but when they finally have room to accommodate your vehicle, they're pretty swift and direct. Frank also takes time to explain why something had occurred, and points out some things to consider, too. Trust is a fleeting, tenuous feeling. You'd be hard-pressed to find another BMW specialist (and by that, I mean one that isn't a fly-by-night trainee, but one with decades of experience) that strives to earn it each time you pass by.

The hunnybunny and I arrived here to take advantage of a Groupon car-cleaning special. The price was very good, and the service was UNBELIEVABLY EXACTING. Seriously, this was a decade-old car that'd made several trips into the dusty desert for Burning Man (among many other long trips) and when we got it back we had to double-check the license plate to be sure we were looking at the same car. They detailed it to pretty much new, inside and out. The wheel wells, the tyres, the interior pleather, all of it shone. Truly special, I tell you. But that's not what reminded me to write this review. Noooooo, what was really special was the free bottled water and hot coffee and massage chairs in the lobby of the Lexus South Pointe building. One dealership had a nice 2011 with a 19,900 price tag but as soon as I started to negotiate on it, the 3 year warranty came out plus the warranty /insurance on the catalytic convertor. Now the price was $25k! including gst if yu did a cash deal. I left empty handed. I saw Jacky's advert on KIJIJI and went to look at it and it was good. No pressure and a straight forward process. The best thing was he didn't push a warranty and other hidden charges on me. He did offer a 3rd party warranty if I was interested, but that was it. The car only came with one key, and Jacky offered to get a second one made up for me at no charge.
