This was my first time having my 2008 Subaru Outback XT serviced at Kiwi…read more The past 3 years I put very few miles on the car and knew it needed some TLC, not the least of which a new A/C belt and main belt. I had a feeling the front axles were going to need replacing and that the brakes were about ready for new pads. Also wanted the oil changed. All the work was well done in a timely manner, and the price was fair for the work done. I used to sell Subarus so I knew what the dealer would charge. They're more reasonable than the dealer. Didn't have the brakes done yet because the pads are back ordered and I was still okay, but I'll be returning for that work. They also caught a bit of power steering fluid seeping from around a seal, and the hose is original. They added a little dye to the fluid and after I drove it for a few days I took the car back in and they took a look, and sure enough, it's getting close to needing that fixed. I try to keep the car in top working order so I'm having that done shortly also. Not everyone is skilled at working on Subarus, but they came highly recommended, and it was a good referral.

We have a 2013 Chevy Volt that had a check engine light and our OBD II code reader gave two…read morediagnostic trouble codes (P0534 & P1E00) that indicated low refrigerant as that is needed to cool both the cabin and, when over 88F, the traction battery pack. The A/C still worked and there is a sensor for low refrigerant. I called the local Chevy dealer (Coastal Chevrolet) and they wanted $275 just to diagnose and they would not give a price to recharge with R-134a refrigerant with POE oil. Coastal Chevrolet's diagnosis fee does not apply towards the cost of their repairs or maintenance. Since our plug-in hybrid has an electrically driven A/C compressor, it requires POE oil instead of the typical PAG oil along with the refrigerant. Not all shops will service A/C with POE oil. Kiwi's had some discounts listed on their website A/C (under $200 in July 2026), First Responder, and some other discounts for certain price points of service. I made an appointment ~3days in advance, and they kept our car 8a-4p, and so far a week later no return of the dreaded check engine light.

EZ Automotive is the shop you've been looking for!…read more I've been bringing my 2011 Hyundai Elantra to John and his incredible team at EZ Automotive for years, and I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else. When I was first searching for a mechanic, I combed through reviews looking for honesty, skill, and real customer care. When I found John, I immediately felt I was in the right place, and every visit since then has confirmed it. John is the kind of mechanic everyone hopes to find: honest, thorough, and patient. He always takes the time to explain what's going on in clear terms, and he works with me to prioritize the most critical repairs while being sensitive to my budget. That level of respect and transparency is rare. On my most recent visit, I thought something might be wrong with my car. The team called me in quickly, and when I couldn't make it, they even followed up a week later to remind me. They test drove my car, checked everything thoroughly, and added a fuel cleaner at no charge just to make sure things were running smoothly. Whenever something doesn't feel right, they go above and beyond to identify, diagnose, and resolve the issue. It's not just John. Tiara in the front office is always professional, kind, and makes scheduling simple. She makes you feel welcome the second you walk through the door. Together, they've created a shop where you know you're in good hands and that they genuinely care about their customers. What really stands out to me is that John and Tiara feel like family. You can tell just by talking to them that they both have strong family values, and that means a great deal to me. It says so much about the kind of people they are, and it shows in the way they treat their customers. If you want a shop that combines honesty, expertise, and genuine customer care, look no further. EZ Automotive has given me complete peace of mind about my car, and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a mechanic they can trust for the long haul.
