He's been maintaining my 2005 Lexus SC430 and has saved me a boatload of money on repairs and maintenance over the years. He's respectful, friendly, and clearly takes pride in getting things right. My most recent service made the car run like it did when it was new. The engine is humming smoothly again, something I've honestly NEVER experienced after a repair or routine maintenance anywhere else and I've owned this car since 2007. Dropped off my car on a Monday and get a call on Tuesday saying they figured out the problem. Said it was electrical but didn't really explain what was wrong with it and quoted me $680. Told them I couldn't do that price and he says it usually cost $800 anywhere else. I tell him that I'd be picking up the car soon. Take an uber to the shop to pick the car up and they are closed for an hour on lunch. Fine, I wait around since I do not want to waste more money on uber. When the mechanic finally arrives after lunch I ask him what exactly is wrong with the car. He proceeds to vaguely tell me the car is old and that the wiring is messed up and it keeps blowing the fuse. I then ask him if he did in fact change the fuse, said he did. I take the car to auto zone and find the blown fuse and replace it. Solved the problem, no more issues, hasn't blown the fuse since. SO THIS SHOP TRIED TO CHARGE ME $680 FOR A BLOWN FUSE. For those of you who know nothing about cars, please get a second opinion or do some research online before paying these people.

My appointment was for 1:15 but I got there early and was taken right away. The manager Issac greeted me and did the test . The website states smog tests could take up to an hour so I took a seat and within maybe 30 minutes I was all done. Issac told me my car passed and the certificate was sent over electronically to the DMV. I had a coupon for $10.00 off I found on their website and it was honored. A "great family deal" is how you end up trapped in an abusive, one-sided relationship with a four-wheeled "luxury vehicle". Enter Ontime Mobile Mechanic, and more importantly, Alejandro: a saint for men who have made devastating automotive decisions. Apparently, Land Rover engineers designed the window regulators on this absolute trash can of a luxury vehicle to self-destruct on a rotating schedule after year seven. If one window goes down, it's not coming back up. Three of these babies went out within a period of six months. Luckily, Alejandro rolled up to my driveway like an absolute legend. Alejandro popped off the panels, replaced the parts, and reassembled everything cleanly, quickly, and without laughing directly in my face about my purchasing choices. Massive five star service. Unfortunately the repair that was done here may have ultimately damaged the internals because of lack of knowledge with this vehicle. *On another note, I called the number provided on Yelp (and also what I had saved on my phone) and another "Sergio" answered claiming to be a car wash person and he was confused on how I got "his" number. If they did change the number they should disclose it on Yelp so others wont call the wrong person/ repair shop. (Number I called was 805.483.7901 as it shows on Google and Yelp.) This is not to bash anyone, im simply stating that if a shop is not knowledgable on a particular vehicle they (the shop) can choose to offer the client an alternative shop instead of taking on work they cant fulfill or diagnose correctly. One experience that really stood out happened years ago when my car key broke off in the trunk lock. A mobile locksmith quoted me $250 to remove the broken piece and make a new key. Instead, I took the car to Sergio's. Chava came out with a small tool, removed the broken key in less than five minutes, and had me on my way. He didn't charge me a dime.
