We were told about Puget Sound K9 Academy by one of my husband's clients. We set up an appointment…read morefor our dog, Bento (a 4 year-old GSD), and Jamie interviewed him. We thought Bento was an aggressive dog, but Jamie said he was just reactionary so he was willing to train him. We have been working with Jamie for over five months, and we love his teaching methods. He is very skilled and provides us (the humans) with individual instructions on how to improve our dog and our own reactions to him. We have been dedicated to getting Bento to be less reactive and he is doing much better. We have walked the mall three times; once with a group of his dogs and twice with just Jamie. Jamie has an excellent assistant instructor when he needs him to be available. We are now working on agility training, which our dog loves. We love Jamie and will continue to have him train our dog for as long as we can.

We were referred to Ty through the our local vet (Big Valley vet). We recently adopted a new pooch…read more(buddy) from the humane society. Buddy was showing aggressive behavior to one of our other dogs and had other signs of anxiety and nervous behavior. After explaining to Ty on the phone what our issues were he expressed that he has a lot of experience in dealing with these types of issues. He was available the next day and we had him come to our house for a session. Ty was very impressive and listened throughly to all of our concerns. He modified his session to be specific to what our most pressing problems were. He gave us several activities and strategies to deal with the behavior issues. It has created a whole new level of respect in our relationship with our pup where he trusts us Amani K-9 are truly legitimate trainers.
