This store continues to decline! I visited the deli section. After the staff looked at me waiting for 5 plus minutes they advised me that that section was closed. Then they tell me they would open up in 10 minutes The store is stocked with a lot of outdated products. If you shop be vigilant of expired products! When you did turn around and you saw that there were four people in line and you kept washing your dishes. You didn't acknowledge you were short when we got up to you . We enjoyed shopping at this Vons location the last time we were in the area. Nice clean place with everything in produce all lined up good. Emplyees are friendly and inviting. Store is well organized. All food prices up during inflation, You can still catch up on good deals here. read more

Just wanted to give an update on what happened with this order. The every next day someone named Gloria from the Vons in Brawley called me saying that the cake was scrapped accidentally but that the guy who handed the cake to my father the guy responsible for it told my father he could fix it and then said that my father turned down the offer of fixing it. But this is a lie all they were trying to avoid was give me a refund. I didn't go back for my refund because this issue upset me. I have decided I will no longer shop at this store. read more

Only good thing at vons might be the bakery but even that has suffered miserably from poor staff and management. The last I received excellent customer service was from my friend Jose but I doubt he still works there. The worst part about visiting this vons is the horrible experience you have to go through when paying. It's a good-average grocery. Higher prices than, let's say, Walmart. Great mark downs when they decide to stop selling a product! Usually 50% off. I usually go for those deals then head to Walmart (ugh. Walmart). Employees are friendly here at Vons. I especially like Christian in Meat Dept. friendly and helpful guy. Oddly, when I went back in today to go to customer service I was told customer service doesn't get in until 10am. Odd. read more

This Von's is depressing. It makes me sad to shop here. The people working are miserable. They hate their job. There are no smiles. No laughter. No soul. It's just dead inside. Poor customer service because I've been waiting at the customer service counter for ten minutes now and no one has come by to help me. My favorite grocery store. This place has awesome team workers. I lost my iPhone once and someone great turned it in. I got my phone back and the elder man who helped me was so sweet and kind. I run into good people every time I come here. The vitamin aisle has buy one get one free frequently (this is my spot for vitamins). The food is always fresh. I've been shopping at this Von's for two years now. I love the customer service. My butcher and produce clerk know me by name, they always ask what they can order me and they almost always get it in with the exception of lemon grass stalks (he got me the paste instead). They are great! I can talk recipes with the checkers. They are like family. read more

Staying in Brawley for work and needed a few items and couldn't be happier with how incredibly sweet everyone was at this store!! Von's is bicycle friendly. You can lock it up outside with the bike rack or bring it inside. Just be responsible with your bike as it's the only business that let's you bring it inside. read more
