First restaurant in Omaha, and it was a good one. Made my own burrito and decided to be frisky and go for crocodile as my protein. They have a lot of different sauces, and the folks at the counter were very kind and accommodating to me trying their entire menu. Food was tasty, although slightly on the pricey side. The zombie tots were 10/10 i loved them. They aren't too spicy and they were really good. Next time I'll just get those. The tacos were not very good at all. I love street tacos and I didn't like these. They do have a huge margarita menu which is fun. The location is great and it's actually really cute inside with a lot of seating. Service was also great they were really nice and everything came out quickly. Despite not liking my tacos I'm still giving 4/5 because everything else was great. read more

We were feelin like we were in our 20's again for a good ten minutes, so we figured we'd swing down to the "old stomping grounds" and grab a drink and some tacos! Tomorrow... pray for us We grabbed the two street tacos, with a generous side of rice and beans (pinto or black, lime cilantro or Cajun). I - cause it matters - grabbed the blackened shrimp WITH the doo CLEANED out I would've really loved to taste the rice and beans separately, but from what I could decently tell, the Cajun rice wasn't too bad. The cilantro and lime had a sweet taste to it? Wasn't a huge fan of it. T grabbed the two street tacos too, one CROCK and the other, pork (carnita). Pinto over black beans and lime cilantro rice. If you haven't had crock yet, its texture reminds me of sausage. A summer sausage really. So the gag reflex was there by bite three. A LOT of cabbage, and a LOT of tomato's. The tortillas, were unfortunately dry and a tad hard I dare say? Of course we swung by what served some sweet memories some 17 yrs ago, T Henerys Pub in the basement, when we were in our late 20s and early 30s that trusty ole Upside Down Pineapple Cake drink, and a Dragon Fruit (oddly green?) and SF Red Bull! A friend and I came to get a late-night dinner on a Friday evening after getting drinks elsewhere. It wasn't very busy, so the wait for food wasn't very long at all. You order at the small counter off to the side of the bar and then they bring out your food where you choose to sit. There are SO many options on the menu. Almost every taco flavor can be made as a taco plate, burrito, rice bowl, or nachos which means there are a LOT of options! Eventually I decided to get one of their specials, fried cauliflower in a burrito form and a tropical punch margarita. My friend and I also shared the zombie tots, which we requested without bacon. The margarita, while good was also very sweet (but I should have expected that from a tropical punch drink). Choosing a salt rim on this drink was the way to go as it evened out the sweetness a little. I would want to try their jalapeño margarita at some point, but they were out of that during this particular visit. My burrito was very good! It was a decent size (enough to be filling, but no leftovers). I would definitely choose to get this again and I would be curious to try it in the different forms, especially the nachos. The zombie tots were delicious, the queso on it was warm and flavorful, but we were about halfway through it when my friend noticed that there might actually be some bacon on it, so we didn't finish it. Decent food, but basic. Splashy hot sauce but no depth. Average drinks. Counter service, which I don't love but understand the need for. However, their servers were kind, funny, and surprisingly attentive. It was incredibly loud in here: music, shouting. Just not my favorite vibe. read more

The patio is nice, the bartenders are pleasant and it's crazy cheap. I love this place. If I'm downtown on Tuesdays I'll usually drop in for the taco specials. The food isn't terribly authentic, more like Tex Mex, but it's tasty and they get it out super fast. read more

The service was great, the place looked nice on the inside and food was great except a few items. I had a blacken shrimp street taco and blackened fish street taco which were amazing. The carne Asada street taco was my least favorite and it just didn't taste good. Stay far away from the queso. I don't know how on earth anyone can mess up cheese dip but there is not good at all. read more

I love that Voodoo Taco opened a new location right in Old Market! Super convenient, especially if you're nearby and want a quick bite after shopping or at Gene Leahy mall. It's open pretty late too, (11PM Sun-Thurs and 12AM Fri-Sat). The interior is nice, in a cool old building with high ceilings and plenty of seating. Like their other locations, you order at the counter and have a seat, where they will bring your food to your table, or you can get it all to go. The employees were super friendly and after hearing that it was another customer's birthday, one of the employees brought her a slice of cake! I enjoyed the tacos that I ordered, and the classic margarita was good! The service was super quick, which was nice. On Tuesdays, it's $2 off tacos and $2 margaritas, which is a great deal! They also have other great specials on weekdays, so definitely check out their social media pages for those. read more

I came in for a to go order. Waited 30 minutes for my order, all while watching orders being delivered to customers coming in after me. Staff was rude when I asked if my order was ready. When I received my tacos, the barbacoa meat was just thrown in the container. It had zero taste to it, only the meat nothing else on it. Worst experience I have had at Voodoo ever. The restaurant is aesthetically nice. The music is suited for a early 20s club. Does not even come close to appropriate music that should be at a Mexican taco restaurant. The food is mediocre at best. I ordered carnitas tacos, which were some of the worst I've had. Why does it need to be so loud? I'm not that old by the way.
