This past Friday (the hottest day so far) our lights started flickering. I figured that too many…read morepeople were sucking all the power and reset the breaker. The panel threw sparks! I called PG&E and they come out immediately and let me know the main breaker was shot and needed to be replaced ASAP. We spent a miserable night in the heat. I called around several places and most were closed. One quoted me 4,500 and 3 weeks to fix it. Got ahold of Javier and he let me know it was going to be 85$ for the service call, and if it was something he could fix it would be applied towards the bill. Came out immediately , replaced the main breaker and while he was here he also fixed some light switches with 3 way switches so we could finally turn them off and on from both ends of the hall. He also recommended that I replace the panel completely since the spark had left some markings on the box. He wrote me an invoice for my insurance company as well as my solar company since the box is not equipped to handle the solar so they could come out and verify it needs to be replaced. His quote was half of what the other companies were and it included everything. He is legit a lifesaver, it would have been a miserable few weeks if we had no AC.

Testers and analyzers indicate if the power is off at an outlet. They also let you know whether a device is connected properly." He ended up fixing everything within an hour. Since then I have had no issues. My home insurance covered the whole bill besides my copay. I was very impressed by the quality of service I received.

Aaron agreed to do a panel upgrade and some other work at my vacation home an hour's drive from Bakersfield. He didn't seem too enthusiastic about it, but he agreed to do it. After 30 days had gone by and not having gotten any status updates from him, I emailed him to ask how things are going. He said he would go up to the cabin soon and check on conditions. I was surprised he had not even gone up there yet. A couple weeks later, he finally made it up to the cabin. I then received an email from him stating that he would not be able to do the job due to certain unforeseen issues. When I questioned these issues, he then stated that he might be able to do it but at a higher price. I asked for him to return my $1000 deposit, and he agreed. When he sent me a check for $180 I was surprised. Apparently, Aaron started the permitting and scheduling with Southern Ca Edison before he knew whether or not he could do the job. He obviously made a mistake in taking 6 weeks to get up to the property, and now he was charging me for his error. I got no benefit from his efforts and would have to start over with a new electrician. I should add that a local electrician with zero reviews and requiring no deposit up front, managed to do the job without any issues in less than 30 days at the exact same bid. He stated that his time with SCE was done online and took just minutes to do. It sure seemed to me that Aaron just didn't really want to do this job and was looking for excuses not to do it. There is something else that Aaron did that I had a problem with and should be considered a red flag for anyone considering doing business with him. He charged me full sales tax on a job that was nearly entirely labor. I guess he thought he could pocket an extra 8% without me noticing.

I needed outlets changed to GFCI and I wanted outlets added. My exterior lights went out and after some diagnosis, they figured it out. They swapped out a light fixture, too. We were talking about my washer/dryer set needing hookups and they called in their plumbers on the fly. All of the work was done in hours. I was doing my own home projects and was able to ask about, and then borrow a drill bit and grinder. Whenever I start my next project that I can't do on my own, they will be the company I call.

There are too many people doing business who don't care to give common courtesy and let you know if they will be able to come or not. There's something terribly wrong with this attitude. Plus, I am asking him to come and see what's wrong with the work he did for me, and I am willing to pay the going price even though I think he should at least take a look to see if he did inferior work! He supposedly put in a new motor for my whole house fan. The first time he put it in the wrong way, and the second time, a year later, the motor won't turn. Did he even put in a new motor???
