I called Monday and the same exact day the owner Rachel Voss called and told me to come in if I was available and she would touch up my hair. She did not need to do this but she did and that's what makes Voss salon one of the best salons in DFW area. Hands down! She was so kind, sweet, and understanding. I chose the stylist Eddy to help me transform my dark curly hair to a blonde balayage. Since he refers himself as a curly hair expert. Which are hard to find and are super expensive. But being a college student I saved and saved to treat myself for my birthday and to give my curls the love they need. He then went on to say he could get the job done and never said it would take more sessions so I was super excited and had complete faith. Many hours later we finally finished and it was closing time and was so excited to see my hair only to reveal my hair was literally the color YELLOW. Not blonde or even a dirty blonde but YELLOW.He really then asked me how if felt to be blonde. I was so upset and just left because it was closing time. I went back the next day and let them know I didn't like my hair. Even his assistant who was helping him admitted my hair was very yellow. But he just couldn't admit it. Then he went on to tone my hair, because "that's all he could do" and if he was to re do my hair he would have to bleach my whole head again and I would have to pay his big fee again. Don't recommend this stylist to anyone at all. He won't own up to his mistakes and honestly doesn't know how to color. I've been coming to Voss Salon for a about a year and a half now and will probably never go anywhere else!! Lindsey has been an absolute gem and always hits the mark with what I ask for. I even had her as my wedding hair stylist. Another stylist, Izabela, is also a great choice as your hair stylist! While Lindsey is my usual go-to, if she's out of town, I'll definitely hit up Izabela. She does both hair and makeup, which I had her as my makeup stylist for my wedding. Parking is a little tricky, so make sure you try and get there 10 mins early so you aren't late for your appointment. 10/10 recommend Voss Salon! read more

Do not go here. I showed up for my 2:15 appointment and waited 45 min for my stylist. At this point I already wanted to leave. I'm a blonde who recently moved here. I just wanted her to fix my hair because I had terrible roots. I sat there for 4 hours, it takes 1 hour 2 hours tops to do my hair. When she finished I could tell she fried my hair off and she knew it too. It's been two weeks and my hair is falling out and lost all its texture. Voss is always busy and for good reason. They do a thorough job and many influencers are always in to get their hair done. The stylists here tend to move up quickly - meaning the pricing seems to always increase each appointment. Since Voss is commission based, the stylists all charge the same amount (by level) and it's slightly more expensive than other salons in the area. My only complaint is that the stylists struggle to manage their time in limiting new clients. They all get booked up so fast that it's impossible to book a 4-6 week touch up. I really didn't know what to say ... first the hair cut from months ago was horrible and no one was kind... I just got out of the hospital basically after surgery. This establishment conveniently placed a a charge without giving me acknowledgment. Then called to state that they are going to charge me $35 for not showing up for my appointment that I wasn't even aware of... even after I expressed to them that I had just sustained a major surgery that was necessary and wasn't even aware. The manager then hung up on me and I was shocked and continued to try and reach them. no one gave me the time of day. This was a horrible salon not to mention Outrageously rude. A few of my friends have been coming for either extensions or coloring for much longer and always gave glowing reviews, so I finally decided to try and cannot believe I didn't try them out earlier!
