Worked the majority of the day, was here 5+ hours, other than running out for parts at Home Depot, which took quite a while & the store is close by. At the end of the day he had only partially replaced 2 faucets, and had gotten the wrong parts at Home Depot. Charged around $100 an hour for time, including the Home Depot run. Would not give a breakdown of charges even though asked twice. When I complained he came back to finish the faucets on a different day. He also quoted around 2k to swap out a shower head & tub faucet, saying the wall would have to be opened up. I did pass on that & used a licensed plumber who had that same job done in an hour for a couple hundred. So in summary he's fine as an electrician, but he's inept at plumbing, so take a pass on anything other than electrical! //// In response to your response....No there was no upfront contract or pricing promise.
