The service was good. However, they seem to only be able to do unoriginal things. I asked for pink and white nails and I ended up telling her to take the white off because it was hideous. I was in need of a pedicure and my girls wanted to come for their first pedicures. I did a search and saw on their site that they had special rates for kids pedicures, so I called and made a reservation. When we arrived they were busier than I expected and I was not told that over the phone. I did ask on the phone if they were busy. We had to wait about 30 minutes to be seen and my kids were very impatient. I did my best to distract them. We had three different technicians do our pedicures. They all seemed rushed and stressed and it was not a fun experience with my kids. And sadly they did not do a good job with our feet. They did not feel softer or better when we left. The paint faded over the next few days. They also pressure you to use their atm to get cash out. I did not know they preferred cash or I would have brought some, but I did not trust their atm and preferred using my credit card. The person who checked me out made 3 mistakes and had to run it three times. I had to check with my bank to make sure I was only charged once and had to watch the pending charges over the next few days. I also called the bank and ensured only one would go through. If you do come here, bring cash, it's the safest way to go. I think their lack of care through the whole process made me uncomfortable with their atm and credit card system. We won't be returning and wouldn't recommend it to others. read more

Absolutely horrible experience! I've gone here a few times and always felt rushed and like they didn't value my business. I liked that it was cheaper and convenient than most salons in this area. I scheduled an appointment for 4:30 and wasn't brought back until 5:15 and watched the "regulars" be brought back before me! What's the point of an appointment if they don't honor them?!?! To top it off I get acrylic with gel polish and my nails were chipping within a week and only getting worse! Danny was amazing So gentle the entire time. I got a gel pedi and gel refill. One of my nails was horrendous from another salon and he fixed it up so well! He took his time and was patient with me. I just moved to this area and wanted to try out this new nail salon despite some bad reviews there seemed to be a ton of good ones. I will say my toe nails are adorable and I love them but the service was what I had a big problem with. I'm a very patient person but when I have an appointment for a full set and a pedicure I'm fine with waiting but after waiting 30 minutes for my pedicure (which is totally fine) they had me wait almost an hour for my full set (which is not fine). I ended up leaving without getting my nails done. The woman at the counter said I said "manicure" but I have the receipt for a full set. It's frustrating because I spent 2 hours in a nail salon and I'm only walking out with a pedicure. read more

I am not happy with this salon at all. I don't do reviews that often but this needs to be said. After three days my gel polish chipped on three nails. Gel should last three weeks not three days! A regular manicure lasts longer then that! I go back and they supposedly fixed them. Even though I shouldn't have, I gave the girl a tip for fixing them because she wasn't the one that initially did them. TWO DAYS LATER FROM THEM REDOING THEM AND CHIPPED AGAIN!! I work in an office all day. I don't work heavy with my hands. So if you like the place great, glad you had a good experience. Me, not so much. Don't bother making an appointment. I did so two times in the past four months(both times over a day in advance) only to wait 15+ minutes to sit for my pedicure. Both times I as with a friend and she was worked on way before me--meaning she was done and drying alone and I was stuck alone on the chair when the point of making an appointment was so we could sit together and catch up. Also, the quality of service has gone down significantly; I have been disappointed in the quality of my pedicure both times (spots missed on my toenails and messy trim jobs). I don't know what's going on with this place recently, but until it gets its act together I'm finding somewhere new for my nails. read more

Would not recommend. First time here and was not impressed. I made an appointment, they took me about 35min after. Got a pedicure done and full set. The guy who did my pedicure rushed. I had an ingrown toe nail which any nail salon would take care of but he didn't. The lady who did my full set was the owner I believe named Hannah. She cut my one finger. My tips for the full set were all different lengths and on side ways. She kept stopping to help the customers walking in and answering the phone. Let's not forget to add in how my FOUR of my nails fell off in less then 2 days!! Would not recommend. read more

So i came to get a new full set for my vacation and I got color change from a pearly white to a purple but clearly on the nail display was white and pink but i ended up being perfectly fine with that since I love those colors better but my main issue was that when I got to my car and realized that my whites were two different colors and both hands where from the same bottle it happened to be the the hand was a more of a beige instead of white because he put the one hand under the uv light way longer since he trying to fix one nail on the same hand but when I came back into the salon the owner realized that the color was different told me to come back the next day I told her I leave in a few hours i ask what can she do that when the scream match from her came about so lets just saying I just walked out on her cuz I was not going to have her yell at me and not get hit so I did what what best for myself and walked away read more

I came in for a dip manicure as a walk in. They were able to get me in right away however the manicurist that worked on me must of been brand new or unlicensed. She used an artificial nail to rip off the dip that was already on my natural nails, cut my natural nails short and glued on tips. When she trimmed the length, they were about medium length. After multiple attempts at dipping my nails, then filing, again and again, my nails were left short and very thick. I'll never go again and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Great service! The last nail place I went to in King of Prussia, the lady was too busy talking to her co-workers to pay attention to detail. The lady I saw at VP Nails took her time and was careful to not hurt me. I got a manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow wax and it only cost me $47 (without tip). I was expecting an up-charge since I requested a design on my nails. My eyebrows are messed up to begin with, so even though the picture makes them look a little uneven I'm so happy with the outcome. This is only my second time coming back to VP Nails and even after my first time going I knew I'd never go to any other nail salon. I'm a very picky person when it comes to my nails and I often come in with an idea then change it like 5 times while they're still working on the acrylic, and every other place I've been too has gotten frustrated with me when I've changed my mind about the polish... or asked them to make the corners rounder etc., but not here, they're more than happy to accommodate to the best of their ability anything that you ask for, and they don't charge you and arm and a leg for it either! I've told all of my friends and family about this place since I've went and the few that have gone, won't be going to any other nail salon after their experience either!!! read more

Poor service! Poor job with nails. No communication between nail professionals and clients. Dropped 3 of my girls off for a 3 o'clock appointment. I went to Target and Giant, went back at 4:30 and only one of my girls was done and the other two just sat! An hour and a half after their appt! I complained and she said, "sorry we're busy." I said we didn't need that time and we could have come another day if you were busy. We went for our first time to another place a month ago. We wanted to try another place because of poor communication and unhappy results with their nails. After what we had today we would gladly return to the first place. One of my girls nails were still in great condition but they told her she needed a new "full set" and ripped her nails off which was very painful and charged her $10 more than the others. The man who did my other two girls dropped the nail file, got a new one and begin to file his own nails both times. For one daughter he kept hitting her skin and was painful. This place was too crowded! An hour and a half is entirely WAY TOO LONG to sit in a waiting room ESPECIALLY during a pandemic. I would have NEVER LEFT MY CHILDREN if I knew they would be sitting there so long. And they would have never been exposed to the man who came in screaming at the top of his lungs right next to my children without a mask. And he scared the crap out of one of them. 15 minutes of exposure is all it takes or less. One positive were the dividers between the nail professional, client and neighboring clients. If you are going to go maybe try a weekday. read more

So I came to VP Nails after although enjoying Fashion Nails in the Upland Square, but wanting some thing less pricey. When I first started going there and gave my first review on here I saw a gentleman by the name of Johnny and he did good work on my acrylics over that year. But then he left. Joseph is an older gentleman and he is very good as well. And a gentleman named Michael gave me a good pedicure once-back in 2018. But since Johnny left, service for me went downhill. It seems like even if you make an appointment you still may wait forever in the lobby. And if you go with a friend you'll probably not be able to sit near her-even if you schedule it that way. And if they make a mistake, they rarely apologize. One time a misunderstanding lead her to cut all my acrylic nails all the way down to skin! They rarely use lotion or hot towels and only occasional hand massages post Johnny's employment. I do know that the girl in charge does do a good job-especially with nail designs-sorry, I'm forgetting her name. And I did have to go back many times because nails broke within days of application. But the last time I was there Joseph was still employed so him or the girl in charge are your best bets! They did do nice eyebrows usually. read more

Absolutely awful.... the place was clearly not clean. The fans for gel manicures were dirty and had nail polish and dust from other customers' nails all over them. All of my nails are a different shape (SNS with tips). On top of that, they cut my cuticles dry. Not only are my cuticles still in rough shape, they were made worse and are irritated now. The manicurist did not wash her hands between customers and it wasn't clear to me that she used a clean, new pair of cuticle cutters between customers. Not sanitary! read more

Sat at station #9 this nail tech took an hour in a half to do dip powder and when he was done he had filed my nails to a shortened length when I said I didn't want them cut. The polish looked and felt like my 9 year old daughter had done them. For $35 I left very upset and picked half of them off by the next day. Will try another salon.
