Fortunately, there was Harpers Bazaar so I could catch up on Paris Hilton's latest. I did the face framing height lights - 8 foils but I think she gave me a few extra. Saved around $60 by skipping toner and a blow dry. Asked for thick highlights, and they looked a bit skinned but the stylist showed me how they were actually thick. She was right. She didn't show me my hair automatically at the end. I had to ask, but I did like what I saw.

It is a lovely new salon that houses other hair stylists, massage therapists, barber shop, a botox spot and more. You can have a spa day all in one place. He has his own private room with a sink and styling chair. There is a huge mirror so you can see what's happening. He even has this fancy vacuum that sucks up all the hair. London is a fabulous hair stylist. He always listens to my vision and delivers exactly what I requested. My hair looks and feels fabulous after he finishes working his magic. I would absolutely recommend London for all your hair needs, from a cut, color and style. There are restrooms down the hall that are always clean. And a nice waiting room when you first walk into the salon. Give London a call several weeks ahead of when you need your hair done as he stays very busy! You will not be disappointed.

I don't remember how I came upon Envy Salon but I have been coming here ever since. I see Danielle who is phenomenal. The whole staff is fantastic and all help each other out with tasks such as shampooing, blow drying, or flat ironing. My second appointment was a week before my wedding and Danielle did a great job matching my red/auburn hair to the extensions I purchased. Recently, I wanted to do something drastic and cut about a foot of hair off and I've received many compliments on the shoulder length cut. Danielle does a great men's haircut too! The salon also has a bunch of great programs to get you discounts on your services as well. I highly recommend going here.

Trying to find a new barber near my new home. This one is close so I thought it'd give it a try…read more It's a little pricey for a basic men's haircut but the location is convenient and the ability to make an appointment helpful. I arrived about 10 minutes early and was seated at my appointment time. From there, however, everything went south and the barber refused to give me a haircut. So here's what happened. My hair is about as simple as one can get. I've worn it the same way since I left active duty in the Navy. Short and parted on the side. When asked what I wanted, I repeated the same info I've shared with barbers hundreds if not thousands of times. "Take it up off my ears and taper it in the back. A little off the top too please. I have a cowlick there in the front that comes in when it gets a little long, so please remove that.. It's pretty long right now" My barber immediately started questioning me on how many inches I wanted cut. My response was an honest, i don't know, i think my other barber used a number 2 but I don't really know. So then he proceeds to ask me if I want buzz cut claiming that's a number 2... Well no... I don't what a buzz cut. Maybe you could just start cutting and then if it's not short enough I'll let you know and you can take more? His response which is now bordering on rude... I can't do that... We're on a tight schedule. So I said I don't really know how many inches and then I asked him if he could still do this? At that point he said no and rudely pulled the smock off of me and my non haircut was over. So tomorrow I drive across town to my usual guy. Where he'll get the same instructions as above and I'll get the same haircut I normally get. For about $10 less too although that's my usual tip. So I can't comment on the haircut because I didn't get one. But I can comment on the rudeness and attitude I received at this business And if they respond here claiming otherwise, I would just remind them who's right when it comes to customers. This is only the third review for this place which I assume is new. Still time to turn it around, but I know I won't be back.

Our adventure started with us running late due to an accident, and they were so understanding when we called to let them know we will be late. Personally, I always feel like crap when I'm late, so my anxiety level definitely increasing. But they quickly calmed me down when they genuinely asked if we were ok, thinking we were the ones in the accident, and told us to take our take and it was no problem at all. During their appointment, my wife was blown away at how friendly and kind everyone was. They even brought her over a little table to eat her food I dropped off for them. My daughter, who isn't too pleased with our move to Florida, even admitted she's happier with the results compared to her experience back home, which makes me thrilled. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. I clearly requested the same foiling pattern that had previously been used. Because I part my hair on the side, starting the foils along that part gave the best result. However, Victoria chose to use a different method and applied significantly fewer highlights than expected. It was very apparent that this was done to rush through my appointment while managing multiple other clients at the same time. The end result reflected that decision. My hair was noticeably over-processed, uneven, and poorly blended. I left with stark, white stripe-like sections down the middle and along both sides of my head--an outcome that looks unnatural and is difficult to conceal. This is not a subtle issue; it is a clear technical failure. The entire appointment felt rushed and lacking in care. The focus seemed to be on volume--fitting in as many clients as possible--rather than delivering quality work. This is a significant decline from the level of professionalism and attention to detail I experienced in the past. Victoria immediately acknowledged the problem and said she wanted to correct it, which made it clear she knew the result was unacceptable. However, that only reinforces that the issue was preventable and caused by poor execution and lack of attention during the service. I was also charged $220 for what was described as a 'partial' highlight, yet the coverage was far less than what is typically considered a 'partial' at most salons in the U.S. Charging a premium price for rushed, subpar work is extremely disappointing. To make matters worse, I am from out of town and was visiting on vacation, which made this situation even more difficult to handle. I am now left having to live with a poor color result for the remainder of my trip and will need to wait until I return home to have my regular stylist attempt to correct it. Based on this experience, I would strongly caution others against booking with Victoria if you expect careful technique, proper processing, and results that reflect the price being charged.

Walking out the door and costing me $260 was ridiculous but when you have a place in Ponte Vedra (off Phillips) so not the upscale part of Ponte Vedra I guess you feel you can charge ridiculous prices.
