Here's the bottom line, a family owned business with super low overhead that owns an auto wrecking business of just Hondas and Toyotas. The family buys just Hondas and Toyotas at auction that are "salvaged" due to body damage not engine or chassis damage. They replace damaged parts with what they already have in their auto wrecking yard and paint these to match perfectly. If they don't have the part, they buy new parts. They happily show pictures and reports of the car bought at auction including the specific damage and what was repaired. They let us test drive cars without having to be in the car with us and no pressure whatsoever to buy. Our "new" 2012 Honda Odyssey had 77k miles and was in perfect condition. They had it listed $3k under KBB. Although they offer no warranty and As Is, they were happy to say "come back if you have any problems." We paid cash and were given even more of a discount. Vtek provided EXCELLENT service when we bought our Civic from them in the fall. They were honest, polite, responsive and helpful. I waited to write this review until we had some miles on the car. We've put 4K miles on it now and we LOVE the car. No problems at all! It's true that most of the cars the Vtek sells are salvage title. But that allows them to offer much better pricing than a "regular" used car. Vtek did very high quality work in repairing the minor damage on our car, and provided us with pictures, records, and reciepts for the new parts. This included a brand new airbag from the dealer, not something from the junkyard. They had no problem letting us take the car to our own mechnic for an inspection. At first, our mechanic said that we he would stay away from a salvage car. But after inspecting this car, he could not believe how good it was and how low the price was. Our mechanic found one problem and Ali gave us a discount on the price so that we could have it fixed right away. Registration of a salvage car is different, but Vtek did it all. Even when there was mix-up at the DMV, Vtek took care of it. They even sent us a check to make up for the problem. Don't be afraid of salvage title. Just have the car checked out by your mechanic if you can. Vtek and Ali are great. Highly recommeded! read more

The first thing they will tell you is that all the titles are salvage, but you should have figured it out from the prices themselves. This is a special niche for people who are willing to take the risk by buying a car with history at a really good price (somewhere near 40-50% below Kelley Blue Book value of a similar car without a prior accident), and intend to keep the car for a long time, as obviously the salvage title stays with the car forever - people like me. Yesterday I bought a 2014 Honda Accord from brothers Shikeb and Ali. There was no pressure to buy whatsoever. Shikeb showed me detailed photos of the car after the accident. There was damage to both doors on the driver's side from a side impact. Both doors have been replaced with no trace of any accident left over. The central post was untouched. I took the car to a Honda dealership - something Shikeb suggested before I even asked - for an inspection and alignment. They aligned it to specs and gave the car a clean bill of health.
