    I want to express my gratitude. I bought my Lexus CT200 from these guys. It's a great car with excellent service. They are always friendly and helpful.     They sold me a garbage car the next day I bought it I had to return it and it had no oil and the band was missing.

I really appreciate that he informed me about a recall service for my car and made sure it was taken care of at no cost. Even though I arrived late and my car wouldn't be finished right away, he offered to arrange a free Uber ride, which shows how much he cares about his customers' convenience. I went to Moose who was very polite and courteous. What I thought would be an hour to hour & half for my service and after sitting in the lobby for almost an hour I was advised what he recommended for my vehicle. He did offer me an Uber home so I wasn't stuck inside the lobby and was also picked up by uber at no charge. The down side is, if you use a credit card you have an extra surcharge I believe it was 3%. My previous service center did not charge you extra for using a credit card. The lobby area was nice and clean and they offer free coffee & donuts while you wait. They do offer promos so if you have a discount from another service dealer they will accept them. But you do have to bring the offer with you. Everyone who works there are polite and helpful.

But he's young and naive. We got frustrated by his inexperience when it came to the day of the delivery of the car. He was an hour late the day of delivery and despite counting the cash *twice*, managed to miscount the money. Then there was another salesman, Cam, who tried to steal his commission. He was the typical sales guy who tries to strong arm you. He was abrupt and tried to interject himself into the sale. My wife had test driven a car the day before with Aaron and Cam tried to commandeer the sale because Aaron was late meeting us at the dealership. Cam was arrogant and the typical annoying, misogynistic salesman. My wife and I disliked his lack of business ethics. He talks down to women, he didn't bother to introduce himself nor shake our hands. Don't work with this guy unless you're looking to be talked down to or of a certain gender. My wife had a set and final price from the day before after talking to Aaron and Brandon, the sales manager. When we returned the next day so I could test drive it, Cam was adamant that cars aren't driven off the lot for mechanical inspection unless there's an agreed upon number. Again, he was not present for her convo with Aaron and Brandon. The only smart thing Cam did was find Brandon who validated their initial agreement. It was an overall very frustrating two days and despite my wife and I loving the car, not worth the headache. We were THIS close to cancelling the sale. Avoid this dealership unless you must absolutely *have* to have that Hyundai, even then I'd advise you to buy it elsewhere. They need to train their salesMEN to do better. Oh! Final thing, if you buy a used car from them, they do *not* deliver it to you with a full tank. Only on new ones apparently (go figure). Another ding in their piss poor business practice.

Ethan was my salesman and he's awesome. I made him take me out in a few of their cars, and yapped forever before I decided on my Wilderness, which I love and the turbo on the engine was so worth it! I'm so glad I was sold on hazard package because, well the second part of my review will cover... This is for the service department which has also been sooo amazing. I've had one windshield crack, 4 flats, an issue with the TPMS and I broke my eyeglass holder all that since October. All of them have been completely covered and the service dept has gotten me in and out with a quickness- two times I was also allowed a rental. All that to say thank you to Nathan and the whole service dept team! They joked about getting me my own office because of all my incidents, hopefully that isn't needed and I won't see them till I need an oil change or my lease is up. She liked the Offshore Blue color which is difficult to find. Summit had 2 of them in the lot, 1 base model and 1 premium. The salesman said there was an added dealer markup in addition to the MSRP because it was a popular model with a rare color. He also said the $2,500 mandatory ad-ons, like Ceramicoat were not negotiable. I walked out and went to "Autonation Subaru" in Carlsbad. They had the exact car in the right color, fresh off the truck. I paid $7,000 less than Summit Subaru. Plus we still get outstanding service. They even gave my daughter complete training on how to operate all the advanced electronics. Autonation was clean, modern, and spacious, unlike the dated confines of Summit Subaru. By the way, even the used cars have the mandatory ad-ons at Summit. How crazy is that?

So I put in an inquiry using my hubby's info since I wasn't able to take calls at work at the moment. Literally, less than 10 minutes later, Alyssa called him up and set up a time to take a look at the car I had my eye on. From the very start of our interaction with Alyssa until the completion of sale, I can honestly say that the whole experience was absolutely stellar. I have frequented other Mercedes-Benz dealerships in the past with service that ranked from absolutely hostile, to condescending, to mediocre...but the El Cajon location is a wonderful exception and not only exceeded my expectations, but made my hubby and I feel like family and comfortable with the sale. Although there were a few snafus that occurred, the overall impression was professional, courteous and not overbearing in the least. I went with a car that wasn't brand new and quite a bit older but I was still treated with the same courtesy of someone who wanted to purchase a brand new vehicle. Which tells me that they truly make every potential buying experience a pleasant one and treat all with the same amount of respect...regardless of your budget .
