I didn't get the cheese but I got a basil sparkling water and a date cookie. The combination of the two were a perfect afternoon snack.

I was my best friend in Portland, Oregon, we discovered that vtopia was located, not very far from us at all. So immediately we hopped on our bikes and run over, ordering some mac & cheese to go and grabbing a bottle of not alcoholic, herbal drink. We also indulge in taking home a few varieties of cheese. It was such a joy to find the Zootopia still existing as I've tried it several years ago And thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was kind, quick, food made fresh and all is well. I didn't get an opportunity to check if the bathrooms were available for customers, there is some seating outside, but this is definitely take and go space.

First off, I can see why other reviewers consider this artisan cheese shop a neighborhood gem! I went there for the World Vegan Month special of Loaded Mushroom Mac that benefits Equitable Giving Circle. It was one of the best Mac and cheese I've had. Great flavor and so creamy! The one disappointment that I had was that I drove from Hillsboro only to find they didn't have indoor seating. They also didn't sell drinks. I ended up sitting outside at a picnic bench where it was a little chilly. But the Mac and cheese was piping hot, so I was soon warm at least on the inside! I got some of the Rebel Gruyere, and it's delicious! If I lived closer, I could see this being part of a weekly routine!

Small artisanal cheese shop, entirely plant based! Full array of their masterful cheeses (sadly no samples, but hit up a farmers market stand to figure out what you love and then come get it here on weekdays when the farmers market fix is out but you still need the good stuff). Did you know they also do Mac and cheese to go? They do! It's not really a restaurant, but the Mac is amazing. Huge portion, bubbling and gooey and oh so richly cheesy.

Checked out the new location for lunch and it truly exceeded our expectations - so so so good! Chill vibe, truly delicious food (my non-vegan sister agreed), reasonably priced. 10/10 recommend!! Can't wait to come back to try everything!

Perhaps could have used a bit more of it. And for $4, great deal. Sandwich was pretty good but not something I'd go out of my way for. The brie was mild. Marionberry jam was ok. Nice mix of sweet and tart. Decent bread.

The cheese and crack sundae has toasted marshmallow, chocolate, and cinnamon cracker crumbs. Omg the cinnamon crumbs are so good, that with the ice cream was really yummy (I'm a simple girl what can I say). The chocolate hardened into a chocolate shell and it was kind of only on the bottom of the cup so that was a little disappointing. The toasted marshmallow didn't add much, but maybe I'm biased bc I don't rlly care for toasted marshmallow ‍ Overall, the entire sundae is mainly a ton of vanilla ice cream. It's a big portion that I shared with someone else. Second time I went, I got the banana pudding sundae which was soooo good. I shared this with my friend and it was plenty. They give a good amount of banana pudding and you can tell it's quality. I saw bananas, the bread/wafer part, and it pairs nicely with the ice cream. Prob my favorite thing from this place. My other friend got the pbo which was also good. They layer oreo and peanut butter pudding so you get it all throughout the sundae which is nice. She also got an everything cookie which has literally everything in it. It was texturally interesting and not too sweet! Overall, good flavors and quality ice cream. The portions are a bit big and I wish they had half or even quarter sizes since these came in huge cups. At a certain point, the vanilla ice cream becomes flavorless bc there's so much of it but the sundaes were still pretty good!

I have been on a Reuben kick, and the best remains at Goose Hallow. But this was a close second, as it was great. I had a half sandwich, and I am glad I did, as it was quite enough. I had the Monsignor Murphy, which featured lots of House Made Pastrami, Swiss Cheese, Sauerkraut and Russian Dressing. I typically like a Reuben on marbled rye, as they served it on a Griddled Como Bread...and it was great. I didn't get her name at the order counter, but she was so friendly and engaging as well. Since this was my first time to the restaurant, she was able to provide me with a wealth of information. I will be back...and you can count on that.

Juices kinda poured over rather than the meat itself being juicy, if that makes sense. Bread was disappointing. Lemon aioli was nice. Fries pretty good. Great crunch. Warm. Fresh. Nothing really wowed me or seemed particularly good.

Let me start by saying I didn't take pictures. For anyone who reads my reviews, that's a big part…read moreof them: ALL THE PICTURES. Presentation, portions, half eaten, etc... but I didn't. Because the food was so damn good. Look - I'm going to start off by saying I grew up practically on The Hill. Out here, you'll have to Google it (make sure to add 'RI' to the search or you'll get some political BS), but back east, "alls you's have ta say" was those two words and anyone would know you knew your Italian, food and otherwise. There isn't anything on this coast that vaguely compares to The Hill's food, but walking into and biting out of Geraldi's was having a little piece of home. There's this little shop in the old town where the owner knew your voice when you called to order... you'd walk in, and you heard "hey cousin!" whether you were or not, and that's the vibe you get from Geraldi's. The food is much the same - you get something that looks like Nonna was at the range all day with her sauce (it's not gravy - no meat) and you came home looking like you haven't eaten in weeks: "I'm gonna fatten you up before you leave" and you walked out the door with a sub (sandwich, that is - not a submarine) that weighed the same as a newborn. We got three of those babies: a Chicago Beef (seal of approval from the orderer - only 'complaint' was that they had to eat it all in one day because the bread was quote too soggy to make it to lunch the next day - travesty), an Italian sausage (just as delicious when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and a Chicken Parmeroni (I thought somehow even better when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and I could have absolutely gone back the next day if it weren't for A. the leftovers 2/3 of us had and B. the meal planning we'd done for the week. I also grabbed a side of giardiniera because I will get it anytime I see it available and I inhaled it - I need to know if I can by it by the vat instead of the side cups because it too was similar to what I can find at home (about practically nowhere out here) and amazing!! I'm still upset I didn't take pictures though!

I started with the Spicy Geraldi, which is normally cold - but you can get it hot - highly recommended! It was toasty and amazing! Packed full of meat - the half would have been enough for me - but the whole left some for later! I will be back to try more. Prices are moderate.
