    DO NOT rent from V Trips. I booked a villa in Hilton Head, South Carolina for a long fall break weekend. SIX days before our check-in, I received an email that our reservation had been cancelled. Apparently, the unit had been put on the market by the owner and was no longer available. I was told I would be refunded the full amount and it should process in 5-7 business days. Here on day 9, no refund and I have been on hold for 10 minutes. Please, Please, Please save yourself the aggravation an DO NOT under any circumstances rent from V Trips. I will give them 3 days and if my refund does not come through I will be disputing with my credit card company. Absolutely ridiculous that I have to hound them when they cancelled on me.

    Terrible experience. Would recommend avoiding. The property was overtly priced, extremely cheaply maintained and very uncomfortable and loud as heck. The company behavior is very sketchy. Booked via Airbnb, but VTrips requires a contract so that once you see the terrible property you can't retract. They also bullied me to sign the contract early on. Shame on Airbnb to allow this operation. Seems like they are just looking for uninformed victims... what a shame

    We rented a room at 100 Estero Blvd, FMB. Things to be aware of is that you must be paid in full 2…read moremonths prior to your stay and it is non refundable if you cancel after that. It is a very long contract....which made me a bit uncomfortable (especially being told I had to write out my cc number on the form that was not secured for them to "keep on file"), but after talking with an office gal, had me a bit more assured that everything would go smoothly - which checking in and the emails explaining what to do were very good. The unit itself was large, had a gorgeous view (minus having to always look through the screen to see it), and a huge, beautiful balcony. The furniture was comfortable and nice looking (loved the round table on the balcony). Having a keypad entry was very nice. But the three star rating comes from these notes. We were told that bath towels were included, but not beach towels, so we brought our beach towels - only to have housekeeping show up on Monday morning with a HUGE black garbage bag of 6 VERY large beautiful beach towels. On the other hand, you get 6 total bath towels (unit sleeps 6) which were thin and not very big - and no washer or dryer in the unit to freshen them up unless you wanted to go downstairs and pay to do so. There were no coffee filters. There was only the bag to use in each garbage can - including the kitchen garbage. There were 2 filled to the brim with water "humidity" bags hanging in the guest closet that hadn't been dumped out and smelled like a wet basement. A giant palmetto roach ran across the kitchen counter and went behind the counter of the stove the 1st morning we were there. There were only a few hangers in the master bedroom and only two night stands for clothes (if you had 6 guests staying, have no idea where their stuff would go - only were allowed half of master closet and guest bedroom closet not that big). The décor was minimal - no feeling of relaxation or welcome. The shower curtain kept falling down in the guest bath. The pool chairs were not very clean looking - and had a note on gate saying the overall management is not responsible for keeping them clean. One night came back from Times Square to all the outside lights out - none in the stairwells, none at our door - had to use our phone light to see the keypad for entry - VERY dangerous - especially the stairwells with absolutely no lighting if you had to use them instead of the elevator (as the elevator was actually not working one day of our stay). There was no where to hang a wet suit to dry - could use way more hooks - some on the balcony so you have a place for suits. While I know that this was a condo/private unit type rental, we have rented other houses in the area for less money and a much more welcome feel and a lot more paper product / towels and a washer and dryer in the unit. This unit was quite a bit more expensive than others we have rented, so the roach and lack of a few "nicer" things was a bit of a disappointment. We have stayed in other units on the beach (north end) that aren't condos for a lot less money and way more amenities (including the pool). Just kind of feel that you could supply toilet paper and trash bags and coffee filters for a week (especially since I had to look at them in the master bedroom closet with a note that said "owner" on the huge pack) and some nice bath towels like the beach towels you ended up supplying. While we enjoyed our location and the views, we would not return to this unit nor rent from a company that makes you pay so far in advance with no refunds so far out. Plenty of other places that you pay upon arrival that are much more welcoming and provide much more bang for your buck.

We booked the same beachfront property we stayed in last year for our family vacation. Ocean Shore (Distinctive Beach Rentals) 3129 N Ocean Shore Blvd Flagler Beach, FL 32136 https://distinctivebeachrentals.com/property/364443d4-c5e4-468d-b674-2bc74b9a1f07?fromDate=&toDate=&adults=0&children=0&pets=0&quote.pets=0 While we were almost at the property on Monday, I received a text message informing me that one of the mini-split A/C units was not functioning at full capacity and that they were working on getting it repaired. The same message also informed me that a contractor would be coming Thursday morning to replace the water heater. When we arrived, it quickly became apparent that the A/C issue was far more serious than we had been led to believe. The unit wasn't cooling the property at all. After calling for assistance, I was connected to a call center and was essentially told to deal with it because there were a couple of fans in a closet. Later that evening, a manager called, apologized for the situation, and assured me that I would receive an update first thing Tuesday morning. We were also told there were no comparable properties available to move us into. We made the best of it and stayed the night. Tuesday morning came and went with no update. It wasn't until Tuesday afternoon that an HVAC technician arrived. After inspecting the system, he informed us that he could not repair it because a necessary part had not yet arrived and that it was expected Wednesday morning. Tuesday evening, Distinctive Beach Rentals emailed us offering a $75-per-night refund until the A/C was repaired which is not acceptable and promised another update Wednesday morning. Again, no update came Wednesday morning. Instead, Wednesday evening we received another email stating that the part had been delivered to the wrong address and that they were trying to locate it. At that point, they offered to move us to another property, but the alternatives were not beachfront like the property we specifically rented and paid for. The options presented were to either move to a lesser property or stay where we were and continue receiving the $75-per-night refund until the issue was resolved. It is now Thursday afternoon. The A/C is still not repaired, the part still hasn't been located, and we continue to spend our vacation dealing with a situation that should have been addressed before guests were allowed to check in. I understand that equipment breaks. What I don't understand is allowing guests to arrive at a property knowing there are significant issues, providing incomplete information about the severity of those issues, and then repeatedly failing to provide the promised updates. We've been patient, understanding, and reasonable throughout this process. At this point, however, I feel this situation has been handled poorly from start to finish. I'm sharing this experience because I believe others should know what we've encountered, and I sincerely hope Distinctive Beach Rentals will step up and make this right.

While the property itself is beautiful and the woman who checked us in was warm and welcoming, our stay unfortunately ended on a very negative note. We had to check out at 3:40 a.m. for an early flight and went to bed early. The room next door was hosting a loud party with multiple people, and we could clearly hear laughing and shouting through the walls. Just after midnight, I called the front desk and explained that we had an early flight and couldn't sleep due to the noise. Brittany assured me she would send security. However, the noise continued without any change, and it never sounded as though security approached the room. At 12:53 a.m., when the noise grew even louder, I called again. This time I was told that security "did not believe it was a disturbance." At that point, I genuinely felt as though the resort was prioritizing the enjoyment of the party next door over our ability to rest--despite a clear request for assistance and the fact that we needed to be up in just three hours for a cross-country flight. I again explained what we were hearing and asked that someone please address the issue. Finally, at 1:04 a.m., security broke up the party. By then, it was extremely difficult to fall asleep before our 3:00 a.m. alarm, leaving us exhausted for a long travel day. When we checked out this morning, the front desk associate Effrain printed our receipt but did not ask how our stay was or thank us for visiting. When I mentioned this, he stated that it was "early in the morning" for him. I explained the situation from the night before, and he replied that he didn't know anything about it but could "write it in a report." When we asked how to contact a manager, he said we could email but did not have an email address to provide, stating that he had only been there three months. We came to Ponte Vedra to attend my company's executive Christmas party and hoped for a relaxing weekend. While the resort is undeniably beautiful, the lack of responsiveness to a legitimate noise disturbance--combined with dismissive customer service at checkout--left us extremely disappointed, especially at this price point. We truly wish our experience had matched the reputation and cost of the resort.

I mean you are right on the beach & have a pool area and right next to anything and everything you could want ! Here's my review from staying at the sandpiper ! The owners that I met are absolutely amazing ,they take complete care of each of your needs and as long as you are respectful of their properties then it's like it's your own condo not as if you are renting for a week or a month I only rent for months at a time & I now adore the young lady owner she is absolutely amazing!!! She is kind and sweet but yet determined to make sure your stay is great and if you have an issue she handles it right then and there not days later . Anyways let's get into the condo , it is absolutely an amazing location I mean you've got everything you need blocks away the beach and steps away and they have a pool that is always clean and not nasty , ok so let's talk about the inside , the inside is perfect for a small family of 4 and a dog or cat but not more than 4 people ! The condo came with everything you need from a coffee maker to ice trays and towels and extra sheets and great pillows ! Only thing missing was an ice cream scooper lol ( joke) I have no complaints . I enjoyed the whole month in a week I stayed there & my kids loved it ! I made a new friend and have the perfect spot to go to when I need an escape!
