Instead, they kept my entire $2,200 security deposit and are now claiming that I still owe an additional $245. I have never received any itemized statement or documentation explaining how my deposit was applied or how these additional charges were calculated. There has been no transparency about where my money went. I also had a very uncomfortable interaction with maintenance. I found notes left on my car commenting on my appearance, which was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. No resident should have to deal with something like that. Another issue was the condition of the building. When I first moved in, the property looked clean, but over time the hallways were constantly dirty and the elevator was often dirty as well. For a property that advertises itself as "luxury," the cleanliness and upkeep were very disappointing. Residents are also required to pay for valet trash, yet there were many days when trash was not picked up at all. When it was picked up, it was done at different times every day with no consistent schedule, which defeats the purpose of paying for that service. Customer service was also a major issue. I had several problems with one of the managers, who was rude and dismissive whenever I tried to address concerns. In addition, the front desk staff consistently had an unpleasant attitude from the moment you walked in. Every interaction felt like you were bothering them instead of being a resident asking for help. Despite the number of issues I experienced, I was never able to get a helpful or respectful response. Between the lack of transparency with deposits, unexplained charges, poor customer service, inconsistent services, and the declining cleanliness of the property, this was one of the worst rental experiences I've had. I strongly recommend that anyone considering living here ask very detailed questions about fees, deposits, and services before signing a lease.

So in retribution she decided to not renew our lease which we didn't want to either but to make it seem like we're are the problem tenants which were not she jumped ahead and left me a notice of not renewing my lease how silly . So I don't recommend this place to anyone . I truly wish corporate removes this staff from this location . Many tenants here don't have the courage to leave the real reviews but I hear the complaints about this complex all the time about the leasing office . My experience here at Apex has been nothing but great, and it was a very hard choice to leave! The office staff is just wonderful as well as the maintenance and cleaning staff. You can expect to be treated with respect, concern and fast responses for your questions , and any concerns. But after 16 months living here I had very few concerns. I had no noise coming from the apartments above me and below me. All the appliances, air conditioning and heating worked perfectly as well as the smart apps I used on my phone. It was always easy to find a parking spot very close to my apartment. I used the car wash many times which was great. Every morning, I would take a walk on the first floor Community Center to get a little exercise, and it was always immaculate, being professionally cleaned every day. The same for the hall leading to my apartment. I also enjoyed a nice free cappuccino or a latte at the coffee machine which was also cleaned and restocked every day. But in addition, 2x per week the professional service person would come to inspect, restock and deep clean. I also use the barbecues near the pool area many many times, just a nice perk. There are also nice some very nice free management run community events such as the recent free catered Christmas party, a free Christmas Present wrapping station, The Halloween Party, An outdoor movie presentation, and many others. If you are considering living here it is my opinion based on my 16-month experience that you will be very very pleased. Of course, things can go wrong, but having a professional and caring management staff, you can be assured that they will be addressed promptly. Some occasional activities were held to get all of the tenants together. The Christmas party was particularly fun. A special salute to the staff also - very friendly and helpful. Angela, in particular, who was there throughout our entire stay was among the friendliest people we've met. We saw her nearly every day and she was always glad to take a few minutes to chat. So too, the new apartment manager, Jill, handled a few issues for us, fully to our satisfaction, and did so with a smile. We really appreciated all of her efforts to help whenever needed.

Like some of the previous reviews, the staff was very friendly to begin with, but it quickly turned. We had to break our lease, and now no one will call me back or answer my emails when I am trying to PAY YOU, and be responsible. It's been about a month, and still no one has called me back and I continually send emails to try to get a response... When we notified the staff we wanted to break our lease due to safety reasons, there was no empathy. Multiple incidents occurred at the property - someone getting arresting in front of our door, a domestic violence call to the police that included one of the front desk employees that lives there, wheels getting stolen off of someone's car, kid's from across the street ding dong ditching, a drug bust where multiple cops showed up near the front office, and the list goes on. We only lived there for 7 months, to give you a time frame. We never complained to the front desk about any of this because we didn't want to be those people, but it wouldn't have done any good. When we told the front desk about the safety concerns finally when we wanted to break the lease, the employee (the one who was involved in one of the incidents) proceeded to say "I don't know what you're talking about." Also, no one who lives there cleans up their dog poop, we couldn't even take our dog out to the grassy areas without stepping in it. It continuously smells like weed, there are always centipedes, etc. The package delivery system is useless as well, as packages just get delivered to your front door anyways. When I asked to the front desk about it, I was told to put a sign up on my front door to let delivery people know... Overall, avoid this place at all costs! During the tour, everything seemed great, a place with many amenities and great floor plans. But, it was our worst decision as the people who live there, the management made it an awful experience.

I spoke with Jennifer after she lied and told me that donna is away for the week then I called again and she told me that donna doesn't work there anymore. Jennifer she did not resolve any of my issues. I have asked numerous of times to speak with the regional manager of the community and they REFUSED to give me her email or a phone number to contact her... Long story short, I NEVER heard from her until a few days ago and i moved out August 1st... Melissa (leasing consultant) was laughing at me the whole time I was on the phone with her and when I asked what was funny she goes "hehe, im laughing at myself trying to find your files" . With me being a previous leasing consultant, I already know how the games goes with their communities which is why I am so upset! Why did it take for me to search for the regionals email for her to FINALLY reach out to me??? and then in order for her to call me, I had to constantly email her asking if she was going to ever call me.. I cannot say much about the amenities because I haven't used them but they look very welcoming and nice. Parking has been ample and convenient as well. Finding a place to park was a major issue at my last apartment community so it's been nice being able to come home and find parking close to my apartment...especially late at night. I noticed a prior review gave a 1-star rating because there was some "confusion" about the price? It's sad that someone would rate so low over a misunderstanding. If you weren't looking to move until October/November...Why are you looking for an apartment in January??? Nobody is going to give you a price that far in advance...or even know what is going to be available to lease. I want to add my experience here because this is a very nice apartment community. Everyone I have ever talked to in the office has been very professional and caring. People shouldn't trust a review from someone that has nothing but negative (1-star) reviews on every post they have ever made on Yelp. Cheryl said that the price could go up by the time we would move in (October/November) and she says we would need to pay $170 up front to hold our spot. As we then looked around the apartment complex, we are ecstatic about the room, beautiful! We again expressed how much is it for us to hold spot. $170. And to do it as soon as we can bc again price could rise. We can pay $170 to keep our rent at $947. As we leave we tell Cheryl we will call and more than likely will. Ten min after we leave we decided to call and say we will pay the $170. I called the office and spoke with Justin. Justin says him and the manager over heard her say the prices and what was expected to hold our spots. Keep in mind they had my number already with the sign up at consultation. I tell Justin we are ready to be on board and pay the price. He tells us we have to wait til July or august to do so. When originally we were told whenever and asap. He says no. Cannot do that. Well, since it came out as an offer you would think they would honor it. Nope. They won't even keep us at our rate even when we were saying we will contact them in July to pay. He says cannot guarantee it'll be the same rent price. If this is how they run business before we are even renters, how will they handle any thing else thrown at them when we were to live there? Just like the reviews of break ins, the solution is higher fences but still no gate at the entrance. Business was handled very shady. I'm glad that it was shown before we handed any money. I'm sure that would have been a hassle and jump through hoops if we were to do that at that moment before we left. Sad thing is McDonalds have better service than this apartment complex. If I ordered large fries and they hand me a medium; and i complain, they would tell me keep it AND give me the large I ordered. Moral of this situation they say one thing to you, even though they apologized, once and offer was given you stick to your word. If you can't stick to your word. You're not worthy enough for us to stick around. They rather lose a business than gain. They had us in their hands and they refused to follow their word. Do not move here. Shady business!!
