I made my daughter an appointment for 1:30 for Nancy to do a full set and Kim to due a pedicure. It is now 2:46 and only her feet are done. My daughter told me that Nancy took 2 other girls before my daughter because they were going to walk out the door. Came here on my birthday to treat myself with a pedicure. I didn't want to break the bank. And I didn't have to. They have several options for pedicures and i got the basic package which was all I needed it was $14 including spa pedicure. Then I added gel for $10 more. I was very satisfied with the place itself. Very clean, nicely decorated. And staff was so friendly. They even accommodated my big @$$ stroller without making any faces or talking behind my back. And that matters alot to me being that it's hard for a mom to get alone time. They had alot of good gel options (colors) not a ghetto place at all. I will return. I've been going to this nail salon for almost a year Kim has been doing my nails I rarely make an appointment and Kim always gets me done right away my nails and not had a full set of four months they didn't need them she redoes my nails they stay on they don't chip they don't break their perfect the cost is about $30 but it's worth it I do everything and do not put on gloves so far so good I will continue to have Kim do my nails oh and I just got a new sent last week refills are about 20 but I don't get then feel for about 3 weeks so far it's been all good read more

I am super upset and disgusted with this nail shop! CLEAN YOUR STUFF LADIES!! They gave me a nail fungus! I thought I'd let my husband "pamper" me while being 7 months pregnant! Thank God I found the NASTY fungus nail when I did and it didn't get any worse! They don't do a good job and they are always rushing you! It's like dang, let me try and decide by myself what I want. They also do not do what you want and when you try and tell them, they say ok but still not what you want. I just gave up. They even rush you when you're trying to pick out a nail color. WHO'S PAYING WHO LADIES!! Get it together!! The first time, I got just a pedicure. (I tipped her well, lady was nice and smiled the whole time) The second time, I got a full set and a pedicure. (Wanted a full set this time around. I wasn't completely satisfied but still paid and tipped well) (if Nancy is the young owner, she is who did my nails this time, while someone finished them!) The third time, I got a fill and polish change on toes (STILL PAID AND TIPPED THEM!! I give two stars because honestly the lady was really kind but my nails look horrible. I paid $20 i expected it to look better than this. Instead she was very harsh on the edges on my nails, to the point my nails are painfully sore. While doing the filing down with the drill tool, she cuts my finger. It hurt so bad but I didn't want to complain. I told her I was looking to get a silver color but instead I ended up with pink and glitter on top. I should have said something but the color was actually nice. However, in the end she did not completely fill my nail with the color and the edges of my nails are sharp still. Was referred to vy nails, someone told me nancy was great at what she does. Maybe for those she knows, her work is superb. I made an appointment one week in advance. Usually get to nail salons early so they don't take anyone before me/my appointment time. Well she was completely over booked or just doesn't make schedules. Either or very unprofessional. Her service and shop aren't anything special, rather dirty and crappy nail work. Since it's not clean I have have dust and stray little black pieces of lent in my pink and white acrylic. Also holes in the white tips. This place is not even worth the review. But if I can save someone like myself the time and money to go somewhere else. That's worth it to me! Also had a pedicure, French tip. You can see different shades of pink and thicker white in some areas. Please use your best judgement when spending your time and money while pampering yourself. Rather spend a $100+ somewhere else that has good service, work, time and massage chairs. read more

I've been coming to VY nails for about 6 months (fill / pedicure every 2-3 weeks). Nancy is very attentive to detail and does a great job. I recommend calling ahead to make sure she has availability, as she can get booked. The prices are comparable to surrounding nail salons. The employees are respectful - although there is a language barrier and communication can be difficult. If your looking for a specific design or nail shape- I suggest showing a screenshot picture of what your looking for. I went in wanting a modified coffin nail shape and wasn't sure I could explain it correctly... I showed Nancy the picture and my nails came out exactly as I had hoped. read more

Filed my nails crooked and it was just the worst experience I have ever had. My nails were burning the whole time and I will never go there again!! I'm pretty new to the area and have been trying to find my new favorite nail shop .. today was my third time coming into Vy nails. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with their work , the girls are very attentive and really do their best, however today I felt I was taken advantage of . My lil one got her nails polished and pedicure .. the menu price reads $15 mani/pedi for children yet they charged me $30. She tried to explain Something about the menu price is for color only which is exactly what my daughter got!! Then I was charged $5 extra ( which she later dropped to $3 ) to remove the old gel polish I already had ... but wait aren't they supposed to take off the gel in order to get mani/pedi???? Plus my last nail service was done by them!!! So I'm supposed to take off my old gel before arriving so I don't pay an extra $5???? I've never heard of such a thing .. I'm not going to lie they do a good job and I love the Euro mani/pedi but man you really have to pay extra for everything!! Plus they give an attitude when you question their prices ! The last thing that bothered me was the cleaning ness of the tools .. I never saw them opening sanitize tools.. what a shame because I was really starting to like this place, but I don't like it when people try to take advantage!! Oh my gosh, I will never come here again! I was in the area because I had to wait for someone so I decided to get my nails done. I wanted gel french tip and just regular pedicure. It felt as if they were rushing me and were pretty sloppy with their work. To save time, they worked on my nails and toes at the same time, which is fine but very very sloppy work. The guy who cut my nails cut it square, but didn't really file them so my nails had very pointy corners and I had to file them myself after the fact. Also they typically are supposed to soak your nails before they work on them but they do not. They also did not clean my cuticles. As for my pedicure, typically they're supposed to wash and scrub your feet with soap before cutting and polishing, but they do not! So gross! They just let it soak in water and then they worked on it right away. And they typically are supposed to put the cuticle oil on your toes but they didn't either. So so terrible!! Gosh, such a waste of money! read more

The gel manicure I got started to chip and crack really ugly the next day so when u returned the VERY next day the lady said it was somehow my fault and she was not going to fix it. I told her that's fine and as I was walking out she stopped me and said okay I'll fix for 10 dollars!!! I had to stay and get them fixed because I needed to get straight to work from there but never again will I go back they don't even clean the nail clippers or foot scrubs they go from one dirty foot to another! I don't know why there are so many bad reviews! I live around the corner and was skeptical to go from all the negative reviews but tried anyway, and I'm so glad I did!! For acrylics, definitely go to Nancy she is awesome! For gel mani, Nancy is also awesome and so is the young guy that works there. My absolute FAVORITE lady is Queen, she always takes her time and gives the best massages!! Very friendly and you can tell they care about their customers. I have been going to Nancy for 7 years now. She always does a great job and they turn out how i want them everytime. She is efficient and quick. I will never go to anyone else for my acrylics. Queen does my pedicures and she always does awesome. She gives a great massage. The customer service here is awesome and i have recommended lots of people and will continue to do so. Wow came here did my nails with KIM! She says she can do coffin! but she can't not!!! and then took 1 hour and 20 min just to do small medium nails!!! She kept like restarting when putting the powder so weird like she had no idea what she's doing!! I am definitely not pleased with my experience this time. I came here a few times before and I have had okay experiences and stopped coming because I was on the hunt for another place closer to home. Since I moved back closer I decided to give this place another chance. I think this place is super overpriced and I'm just confused on why I was charged 50 bucks for this set when their sign says 30. I understand the gel polish removal was 5 extra and then they said it was 10 dollars for the gel polish but why did they charge me 5 more it doesn't make sense lol. Then after speaking to the manager on the phone she broke it down to the 45 and said to come back for my 5 bucks. I go back and she caused a scene in front of the customers and workers and was coming up with all these charges and that next time it's gonna be 50 and blah blah blah, be careful because salons like this will scam you and charge extra bucks. This was a simple set short almond shape with the simplest design. If you're gonna charge an amount then make sure it's posted on the walls so that you don't look shady when it comes to paying and you add on the 20 bucks more. IM ANNOYED JUST DONT GO HERE... the quality of my nails weren't worth it, I have polish on the sides and the tips a little crooked. read more

Got my nails done 5/29/2021 today is 5/30/2021 my rhinestones only lasted me not even a whole day! I took good care as well And I was charged $60 for this set I was completely satisfied assuming that the rhinestones where put on well, my experience there was great till the nail tech that started me just then passed me on to another nail tech because her well known client I guess walked in. I felt that was weird and rude never had that happen. The price of the pedicure I chose was $30 when she was finished she changed the price to $48 because I got gel when I didn't ask for gel. My total came out to $108 just for my rhinestones to fall off and the nail tech clipped a cut I had knowing I had warned her That it was cut. They did not follow covid regulations and had every seat full and crowded. They had to stand because it was too crowded. Not one to complain but this sucks. $108 just for this to happen is not ok. read more
