Luck of the draw on the person doing the work. They cut off too much and I ended up in my doctor's office 10 days later for ingrown nail pain. They dug too much out and around changing the shape of how the nail grows outwards. I now am having to see a second podiatrist and may need to have the nail removed!!! I came in originally wanting a color change but the gelx fill was $10 more so I opted for the fill. The shape was basically fine since I just put the set on 4 days ago but I just didn't want it looking lumpy. She did a terrible job on the shaping I have a nails that are longer than the other lopsided like dude work on your shaping that's why a lot of these nail shops don't get good business and we go to the girls working from home. I get it a lot of y'all don't wear nails but work on perfecting your craft starting with shape!!!! read more

I've been coming to this nail salon for about 7 months, and I want to start by saying that I really do like this place and the owner--she's always been kind and welcoming. That's why it's disappointing to write this. Over my last few visits, I've started to feel increasingly uncomfortable with how often I'm being pressured to add on extra services. I understand upselling is part of the business, but repeatedly asking after I've already said no makes the experience stressful instead of relaxing. During my most recent visit, I asked for a basic pedicure (number 3). The technician initially tried to convince me to upgrade to a more expensive option, and even after I declined, he kept asking if I wanted additional extras like a flower design. I politely said no multiple times, and even other staff had to step in and repeat that I had declined. What really upset me was that he then told me he was going to give me a 10-minute massage without explaining that it would cost extra. I was briefly on the phone checking on my 8-month-old baby, and I agreed, assuming it was part of the service I had already chosen. When I went to pay, I was charged an additional $10 for something I was never clearly informed about or agreed to. I usually try to be understanding, but after multiple visits where I've felt pressured into upgrades, and now being charged for something without proper consent, I don't feel comfortable returning. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because this place has potential and I've genuinely enjoyed coming here in the past. read more

I came in as a walk in and had one of the best experiences ever. The person who did my nails was named Tim. It was my first time ever having them done with Tim, Ive had good experiences before at this spot but with Tim he was very quick, but he still managed to remove my cuticle and shaped my nails so beautifully. If you have the chance to get an appointment with him I would definitely book it. 10/10 experience would come back over and over again. I had my nails done today I did a gel pedicure and a gel x fill. And I had the worse and painful experience at this salon. I asked for a French tip and they left my nails looking smudged they kept cutting my skin with the buffer after i repeatedly lot told them it was hurting. They verbally insulted me and were being racist. And they kept tossing my feet around roughly. They also chipped my nails and said it wasn't there fault. They sighed in my face rudely sounding annoyed. All I wanted was a relaxing experience after a stressful work week and I left feeling insulted and hurt. I never liked getting my nails done because it was always super expensive and every time I requested a nail art design it never came out like how I wanted, but this place is not like that, this place is amazing and all the stylists who work here are so sweet! I am always happy every time I leave cuz my nails look so cute I spend about $65 (including tip) for my nails and I recommended the "hard gel" because my nails use to split so I could never grow them long, the blue nails were the longest and were super strong! read more

Getting my nails done at Viva for the first time and I love the nice colors that they have. I called in last minute and asked if they had room for a pedicure and they said yes. I drive by and got in and met some pretty friendly nail ladies. They were all nice and overall the work is great. I didn't get a gel pedicure but they do have that. I usually like getting regular nail polish on just because I like to have options if I want to change the color in between or not. Parking is free and also large since it's in a big shopping plaza.
