Quick Remodels is absolutely without question THE best contractor we have ever had. Over 35 years, we've had 40 contractors, built two houses, renovated one, and now had them remodel our condo bathroom, a very small but important project. His written proposals are quite detailed, he is totally honest, tells you the exact cost of everything, communication via telephone and email is the best. He orders the materials the customer selects, but pays for them with his builder discount, and does not charge any carrying charge! The marble tile work is perfection. His design ideas, even for such a small bathroom are wonderful. He also thinks of the smallest details that we did not. For example, my husband is a head taller than i. He wanted to know where we wanted to place the shower head, and waited for us and come while the great team of Carlos and Israel were there for us to test it and then they drilled the holes perfectly into the marble. We also had a challenging request to install heated floors, which required going to the fuse box in the kitchen widning the electrical current through soffets and walls, over to the bathroom. Superior work. He is THE most reasonable as well. Look no longer, you have found the perfect company. He will be remodeling our entire condo next year (replace floors, install crown molding, remove popcorn ceailing, install ceiling fans, etc etc. Also perfect paint job as well. I needed to completely renovate my family bath before my daughter returned from university overseas in two month's time. In searching the web, it appeared that an "express" remodeling company I used for my kitchen seven years ago was no longer operating- but the company name "Quick Remodels" caught my eye and I called in the hope that they would be willing to work with a client who needed to complete a job in less than two months (one other bath remodeling website said it is a six-month-plus process). "QR" scheduled my job to start in 4 weeks - which was just enough time to get the titles, cabinetry, and fixtures ordered - and it was completed - with flawless workmanship - in a total of just 14 working days. This involved a complete renovation, down to the removal and re-insulation of several walls and some plumbing rework. One other company said that they might be able to do the job as quickly as I needed, but the estimate they gave me was $15,000 to $20,000 more than QR charged. (This other company would not give me a firm estimate unless and until I came into their offices and spent several hours selecting materials - sort of like spending the whole day in the auto dealership before anyone will give you a price on the car): QR's estimate was based on anticipated labor and an estimated allowance for fixtures, tiles etc. read more

Like many people in the area, we purchased an older home. Before we found Santiago and Quick Remodels, we had utilized several different contractors for various home improvements. I can say without a doubt or exception, there is no contractor that we ever worked with that was more meticulous, competent, honest and thoughtful than Santiago and the team at Quick Remodels. Our project was a BIG project that involved tearing down an old kitchen to the studs and rebuilding each and every element (floor, walls, cabinets, electric, countertops, etc). We contracted with Quick Remodels to renovate our basement after it was completely destroyed by a flood in September 2021. The basement was down to cinderblock and studs after the demolition and mold remediation company finished their recovery work and preparation. Electrical rewiring, HVAC and HWH were done under separate contracts to individual companies. Quick Remodels came in after that to rebuild the interior. They did carpentry work inside and outside, hung all the drywall, installed vinyl flooring, molding, interior and exterior doors, shelving, and more. In the bathroom they re-installed the shower, sink, and toilet, reconnected the plumbing, and installed the bathroom fixtures. They painted all walls, doors, windows, trim and ceiling. And when all was complete, they cleaned the entire basement. Santiago was a pleasure to deal with. He was easy to contact and always responded promptly. All the members of his crew as well as the subcontractors he engaged were skilled and accommodating. Everything we contracted for was completed, the pricing was competitive, and there were no overrun costs. The few snags we ran into, not due to anyone's fault, were discussed openly and solutions mutually agreed upon. The result is a superior job. Santiago and team did an awesome job transforming under our basement stairs into a custom storage built-in! We had a poorly used closet under our stairs, and envisioned turning it into hallway accessible storage. It was a tricky project to find a contractor for, since it needed both custom cabinetry and construction work to safely open up the wall. After a lot of searching I found Santiago, and am so happy I did! The outcome was exactly what we had in mind, and the attention to detail was excellent. But the thing that stands out the most was just how great it was working with everyone at Quick Remodels. Communication was incredibly thorough and detailed from the first scope of work proposal and throughout the entire project. Quick Remodels just finished a small basement bathroom renovation project for us in Bethesda which involved the demolition of an existing shower, repair of existing plumbing, and construction of a new replacement shower stall. A new vanity, sink, and faucet were also installed. Company owner Santiago Azuaje is a pleasure to work with and his crew did an excellent job. The tile work and overall fit and finish of the shower exceeded my expectations. Santiago is very quick to respond on the phone and by email. "Quick Remodels" is a great name for this business. This project was fabulous! Santiago and an additional worker arrived promptly and, after showing them the project assembly sheets and the materials, they went to work immediately. Quick Remodels did a great job. They scheduled the work when it best suited me, were punctual starting and--most importantly--finishing. The job included completely demolishing the existing bathroom, closing off a door, installing a new sub-floor (due to leaks that had rotted the wood), replacing all of the fixtures, and replacing a pre-fab shower stall with a built-in, tiled shower with shower door. Santiago Azuaje provided guidance on electrical issues and reinforced the new sub-floor beyond what was called for in our agreement because he felt it was necessary.
