Well, last time was during Covid when stocks were bare, and Bray & Scarf just happened to have in stock what we needed. We should have researched this time. High prices, a checkout process reminiscent of the last century and a post sales support process that makes me say I am never buying from them again. Our new fridge makes an annoying high-pitch warbling cricket sound all morning; they sent a tech out and he claimed he couldn't hear it. That was it from Bray; from here we've been told we have to deal with Thermador directly. So why use a middleman? Just go to a big box store where you know there won't be any support, and that's factored into the price.

The manual stated that the dryer pipe shouldn't snake and bend. Bray and Scarff spoke with me on the phone and insisted it was installed correctly and then stopped answering my emails. Two years later, my speed queen now takes multiple cycles for a single load to dry. I reached out to Speed Queen about this because it's still covered under warranty. They sent an email stating that the way Bray and Scarff installed it was incorrect!! I felt gaslit years ago and just gave up. Now I have a top of the line machine that operates like a dying dryer that is a fraction of the price!!

Had a Bosch fridge issue- tried many things myself but could not figure out the problem. Chris was able to make a good diagnosis that turned out to be correct (freeze build up inside the fan housing between freezer and fridge that was not visible even though I looked at the evap coils myself). He said to first try a 24 hour thaw. That was correct and solved the issue with minimal expense. I recommend this business and Chris M. He also called me back unprompted the next 2 days to check in. We had decided on some of the appliances we wanted to buy (Wolf induction range and steam oven, Sub-Zero refrigerator) and visited the ADA showplace in Gaithersburg on several occasions to decide on sizes and other appliances we needed. We ended up buying all of our kitchen appliances at ADU; this turned out to be efficient and a lifesaver when we had a size issue with the microwave drawer and needed to switch it out for a different model that fit better in the island cabinet. ADU carries a wide selection of quality appliance options and offers some discounting as well. I could not have imagined getting 7 appliances at 7 different places, managing those deliveries and schedules, and so on. We ended up working primarily with Kyle Gladden over the seven-month process from planning to complete installation. He showed us various appliance options, answered questions, and worked through many details over the months. Going with ADU was the best approach for us as Kyle knew the big picture of what we were trying to accomplish and when, and it simplified deliveries, asking questions, and making changes. Kyle is pleasant, professional, responsive and very easy to work and communicate with. When you are undertaking such a big project you need to work with pleasant people who can help you get the job done! It's a necessity! On occasions when Kyle was out, we could easily reach someone else who could help us in the office. Everyone we encountered in the office and the phone was pleasant, knowledgeable, not pushy, and responsive. We're happy to recommend ADU (and Kyle) for new appliances.

As I had no other way to verify this, I took them at their word and accepted their explanation. For full transparency, however, it is worth noting that this communication came less than 24 hours after I had posted my initial review. The repair technician arrived at my home the same day, and spent approximately 90 minutes going back over the previous repair work and going much more in-depth in this second go-round. After completing the work, he explained what he did, what he found, and then ran a cycle through my dishwasher. The next day, I ran another cycle, and the leaking issue had been fixed. As I am someone who does believe in giving people and businesses second chances and opportunities, and because I have seen them perform excellent and professional work before (see my original review), I am likely to give them my business at least once more to see that this experience is an outlier and not their typical course of business.

Other commenters have said they've found parts cheaper on-line but I think Tribles' prices are reasonable (they've even given accommodations upon request) for the very fast service. I don't think I've waited more than a day for an out-of-stock part to arrive. Keep up the good work, guys.

Older LG w/bottom freezer wouldn't get below 20 degrees (0 recommended). Ends up freon pressure was low; Alex performed a system recovery of the old refrigerant and replaced with new. He was finished in 1.5 hours and temps are returning to normal. Price was fair @ ~30% of replacement cost of a new fridge.
