I just had my eyebrows microbladed today by Maryam and I'm obsessed with them and her! She's absolutely lovely! I'm over the moon happy with my experience and can't wait to go in for my touch up and see the final results. I do have more sensitive skin and an oilier t-zone, so I did bleed a little. The pain is minimal and for me the blading sounded more like a brushing sound rather than a scratching, but Maryam explained the whole process to me and what to expect and you can just tell she is a pro based on her precision and knowledge. I am very disappointed with my eyebrows. I had them done about a year ago and they were so bad that I had to get them removed. They were crooked and black - jet black, even though I have chestnut hair and pale skin. The lines looked like scribbles and when I got them removed, the girl told me I was scarred and that some of the lines were not even going the same direction as my natural eyebrow hairs. This was definitely not what I had expected, especially since I already have pretty thick eyebrows so I was thinking they would be easier to fill with microblading. What makes matters worse is when I told Maryam that the pigment mixture looked too dark, she insisted that the color would fade, but it never did. Maryam is sweet, but I feel sad to say it was a year of dealing with sharpie eyebrows.
