I came to Puerto Rico wanting to stick to authentic local food, but I was convinced to try this…read morespot and I have to admit, it was surprisingly good. Parking is a bit of a downside since there isn't much available, so I had to pay for parking. Once inside, though, everything moved incredibly fast. I got my food in less than 10 minutes, which is probably the fastest I've ever been served at a restaurant. It almost made me question how fresh it was, but after eating, I can say it was actually very good. I ordered the grilled white fish with lemon and egg fried rice with yum yum sauce on the side, plus shrimp tempura sushi to go. The yum yum sauce tasted like a mix of ketchup and mayonnaise, but when I mixed it with the fried rice, it was really, really good. The fish itself was tasty but needed more salt I ended up adding salt and squeezing lime over it to bring out the flavor. It seemed like it was only seasoned during marination and not finished properly. The salad wasn't anything special, but overall, for how quickly the food came out, the quality was impressive. Portions are generous, and the pricing matches what you get. We came around midnight and left close to 1 AM when they were closing. The place looked packed, but service was still quick and efficient. Our server was okay--nothing standout, but no issues either. Overall, I'd come back. Fast service, solid food, and a good late-night option.

The Chinese foods here are good. The Lo Mein was very delicious. Plenty of seating was available…read moreand we walked in. It was a clean place with decent ambience.' The sushi rolls left a lot to be desired for - the one with the beef in it wasn't quite good. We only ate a piece of it. The crab Rangoons were decent - nothing to write home about. The service could have been better - even with such few people in the restaurant we were waiting many times for service, water, cheque etc.

I've been to a number of Sushi by Bou's locations in NYC, so when we noticed this Isla Verde…read morelocation, we knew it would be a good quality experience and decided to go. (For those unfamiliar, Sushi by Bou offers a mid-priced limited-seating/chef's-table type omakase experience, but not like, super old-school serious Japanese-style- it has more of a fun, modern vibe. The locations aren't standalone, but rather speakeasy style, nestled into some other larger space like a hotel lobby, hotel suite, coffee shop, or restaurant.) That said, this particular location really exceeded my expectations, and may now be my favorite Sushi by Bou location. The quality of the sushi was very good as usual, but the ambiance was even better than some of the New York locations, and the service was fantastic. The chefs were a ton of fun, and the cocktail menu is great. I particularly liked the yuzu honey bee.

WOW. To even say we went out to eat would be disrespectful, THIS WAS AN EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME…read more I've never eaten at a restaurant with such cohesion, whether it be the service itself, the food, but ultimately just the overall vibe. It sounds so corny to say, but the staff felt like family. We were first greeted by Gio who was not only professional in all senses, but just a kind soul at the core. Whether it be recommendations, suggestions, or just overall comfort, he made sure everything we needed (and even things we didn't know we needed) were attended to at the highest level. Our chef Greg along with his amazing team were so in sync that the 75 minutes experience felt like the purest form of a culinary flow state. Each dish set the bar so high that it felt impossible to top, but like clockwork, it did. If you want just food, this might not be your place, but if you want to have your literal mind blown, this is the place to be. Even our trip to Japan did not reach the levels that this experience did. We booked our reservation last minute on a whim but I honestly can't imagine our trip now without this experience . If I could give more stars I would. This puts most Michelin star restaurants to shame. This food hits your soul.
