Nevertheless, DEKRA made the process smooth, simple, and affordable. I got there right after they opened, so only one inspector was working at the time and there were two cars ahead of me when I arrived but I didn't wait long. After about 10 minutes, it was my turn and I was on my way 5 minutes later with the paperwork I needed and new wipers that my son's car was in desperate need of. A second inspector showed up before I left, so I imagine there wouldn't be much waiting at all for anyone who came after me. I still think this practice of emissions checking is a waste of time and money, but at least DEKRA made the process as painless as possible. I will be back until Georgia gets the memo that it is 2024 and this nonsense is no longer necessary, especially if your car is just a few years old.
