I had an in-wall microwave and oven unit. The microwave stopped heating and the oven heated up very slowly. I called these guys to see what the options were as far as replacing or repairing and they wanted $69 to come look at it, and if you did the repair with them, the $69 would be credited toward the repair. I was able to schedule an appointment the next day and for them to look at it. They were on time and at that appointment, they determined it was a faulty part, gave me the exact price to repair and ordered it. A few days later, the part arrived and they called to schedule the repair appointment, which again they had availbility the next day. He came early and called first to make sure that was ok, was at my house for an hour and everything now works! read more

Technician came to my house to diagnose/repair my GE washer. Said that it was the control board failing & a replacement was no longer available & my only option would be to replace the unit. I asked him if he was able to get the unit into diagnostic mode (which would indicate the issue)- he had not. I had already tried to do this myself using all of the instruction that I could find online. He proceeded to attempt the same things & also failed. He was obviously annoyed that I had asked him to attempt additional steps. I paid him the $69 service fee then got back online, found, & ordered a new control panel. Dmitry showed up a few hours later the same day! I never imagined same day service. Come to find out, it was supposed to be Dmitry's day off. wow. Anyway, after a thorough inspection and dissection it needed an unavailable part replaced. I appreciated the diagnosis and broke out the cookbook. I had a leaky fridge and Dmitri came out the next morning. He very quickly found and fixed the problem (pinhole in the hose) and for a cheap price! He then noticed that the water pressure seemed high so he checked the valve in my garage. PRV (Pressure Regulating Valve)?? It was allowing a very high water pressure which is dangerous for the pipes so he pointed that out. That allowed me to get that fixed by a plumber ASAP. I woke up to water leaking out of my refrigerator AND my front loading washing machine this morning. I called and left a message for absolute appliance repair early this morning before they even opened. I received a pleasant call back right after 8am, and the scheduler was able to schedule a tech to come to my house the same day! The Tech arrived ON time, and he fixed both my appliances, and replaced a valve on my washing machine with a part he had in the car and he unclogged the drain line in my refrigerator so it stopped leaking on the floor! I called in today to inquire if they fix GE Dishwashers and the foreign female that answered the phone said yes then asked me for my zip code. I had already looked up their location and website BEFORE calling to make sure they were local to my area. (Less than 15 miles away) As soon as I gave her my zip code, she said we don't service that area and literally hung up the phone on me. Their website says they service GE. It says they service Dishwashers. It says they service my area code AND my city. Apparently they either are doing so well they do not need or want new customers... or they're putting out false advertising, which is not cool and not legal. I really wanted to try them out based on the other reviews... but I won't be doing that now. Back to searching for a real, reliable, company. read more

Our experience(s) with Absolute have been amazing!!! First, we had our washer break and Mike came out and fixed it almost immediately after calling for an appointment. Then a couple of months later, our Dryer broke and the same 5 Star response for that. Lastly, our compressor blew out on our fridge and Vladimir and Viktor rose to the occasion for us. The details of each service call vary but the results and outcome were the same....Amazing repairs done very professionally, timely and cost effective. I should have mentioned however, that the compressor "fix" was performed on a Sunday morning by Vlad and Viktor. The situation called for unusual from response...and they provided it! The old sayings, "if she ain't happy, no one's is happy", or "happy wife, happy life" certainly apply here. My wife swears by Absolute and therefore, things around here are pretty darn good. Called Absolute on Saturday about our non-functioning microwave and the repair was scheduled for early Monday morning. Mike was here on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, and had it fixed in short order. I mentioned that one of our refrigerator doors wasn't closing promptly, and for no additional fee, he adjusted it so that it closes as it's supposed to. Really appreciate Mike's professionalism. My oven quit on me 2 days before Christmas and I was super upset. I called around and couldn't get anybody out due to the holiday. Fortunately, this company sent a technician out on Christmas Eve. While the repair to my oven couldn't happen same day due to a specific part that was needed, I really appreciated them getting somebody out so quickly right before a holiday. The tech gave me some tips to try to get by during the holiday and they were helpful. They came out later and got my oven back in working order. I felt the price was reasonable given the expense of the part and work involved. I will definitely call them again. read more

I scheduled a service call. They show up and then tell me the repair would run about $500 having not discovered anything different from what I told them. I sent a message via the website about a week ago. Wanted to set up a repair for my LG refrigerator (door seal) and Kenmore Freezer (door hinge). Never got a response of any kind. So I called this evening to find out why and was asked what brand of refrigerator I had and was told they do not service LG. The website states they service all brands/models, and even lists LG as one of the brands. At the very least someone could have contacted me to tell me that LG was no longer serviced. Fix your website, as I have wasted a week waiting for your response. Just F Y I....Yelp shows a 100% response within 2 hours. You really need to do better if you plan on acquiring and retaining customers. I really wanted to do business with you, but I will have to look elsewhere. read more

We had to use these people on short notice to repair a stopped up freezer drain. This is actually the second timeThat we have had to have this done and both times that we've used them they've come out on short notice, give us an incredibly reasonable quote that included their service call of $89. And in fact we were prepared to pay twice that but they were honest professional polite and made sure that they figured out what the problem was and then explained it to us. Promptly came out to repair washer. However, the technician scratched the hardwood flooring pretty badly when pulling out the washer. When confronted about it he said, "Well if you don't look down maybe you won't notice it". He didn't want to help solve the issue at all. He didn't seem to want to, but didn't charge the trip fee after we insisted. Even then, he did the math incorrectly and still tried to charge us. read more

He explained the entire procedure to me from start to finish which I appreciated.
