I called at 5:30pm with an emergency in my breaker panel. I had arcing, electrical short sounds, and drastic fluctuations in my appliances performing and dimming lights. Bryan was dispatched and arrived exactly at 8:05pm. The ETA was 8:05 and that's exactly when he pulled up! The dispatch team all were very concerned and professional. Bryan secured the system that night and wrote up multiple estimates so I could choose the best way to proceed. the next day, Bryan and Jimmy arrived at exactly 10:00am, once again exactly when they said they would be here. over the course of the next several hours I watched Bryan and Jimmy carefully and professionally replace the entire panel and rewire everything inside. They kept the doors closed when they went in and out and were careful to watch out for pets while moving through the house. I cannot say enough good things about this company! We have been using them for 5 years, but this year I truly believe they saved our lives! Our 40 year old panel was not tripping, thank god my husband was home and turned off breakers or we might have lost everything. I'm really impressed with this electrician. I have multiple properties and so they have sent different techs depending on the location. Every one of them have been great. In their own way, they go above and beyond. They offer suggestions for things I didn't even realize I could have. And once done, the convenience that I now have is well worth the cost. I'm now considering even more work - especially at my home. Some examples: My garage has an extra freezer. We put it on it's own circuit so I no longer have to worry about it blowing a fuze due to other thing I'm doing - like fixing my fence (which cost me an entire freezer of food because I didn't realize it blew out my freezer). I no longer have to fuss with the pantry light - it turns on automatically when I open the door. None of my ceiling fans have to adjusted anymore because we no longer use the pull chains to run them - I have separate switches to light and run them. I no longer have to cross the room to reach an inconvenient light switch. And get me started on my office! I no longer scream at anyone for turning on the microwave without waiting for me to save my work. My team can leave the building safely because of the extra lighting security and day/night sensors we have on the lighting outside. My signs have their own power and timers and sensors...the list goes on but you get the point. I reached out because they are local and seem fairly new to the Wylie area. My issue was that I had lost power in multiple rooms on Monday night. I called Tuesday as soon as they were open and taking calls. The earliest they could get me in was Friday. I called Milestone and they were out 90 minutes later. I really want to give local businesses my money, but losing power in multiple rooms is more of an "emergency" to me, but W3 wasn't interested in my thoughts. I will reach out again next time I need something that isn't pressing so I can give them a run, but I don't suggest reaching out if you need something in a hurry. read more

UPDATE: Still outstanding! Anthony came out to troubleshoot my driveway security floodlights which had gone into "disco mode." Turned out I needed new fixtures, so he priced out cost of buying the lights through W3 or providing them myself with installation. I opted to buy new fixtures on my own. Called to schedule installation when the lights were available, and Anthony came back to finish the project. Everything went well but the fixtures needed adjustment due to placement of the sensor - the lights wouldn't turn off automatically in the morning. Anthony stopped by the same day I called to tweak the placement. I'll continue to give W3 my business! read more

They were on time and polite. The bathroom light/fart fan needed to be remounted after I tried to replace a bulb and had broke a clip I thought. The ESTIMATE WAS $460, I bought a replacement Light/ fan at Home Depot for $60 and after reading the instructions realized all I needed was the right nut to reattach the fixture and then snap in the cover. They wanted to gouge the customer for something they could have done for less than $100. The tech waived the service call fee but the outrageous price makes me wonder how many people they have taken advantage of. BEWARE OF W3 PRICING! read more

The biggest thing I appreciate about W3 is that it didn't snub its nose at my very small job (malfunctioning doorbell); four other electrical companies refused to make the trip because it wasn't a "big enough" job (not sure why that matters if a customer is willing to pay the service fee anyway to obtain peace of mind from a professional). Turns out our transformer blew and needed replacing, which affected other outlets as well...not so small after all. My technician Jordan was on time, efficient, and professional, even calling beforehand to give me a heads up on his ETA. He was knowledgeable about required services and W3's packages to better aid me in making informed decisions about our house/what to prioritize.
