The owner of this place was great and went the extra mile to make sure my wife got something Keto friendly. I went in today and I was very disappointed. First of all, I called and placed the order. Total time combined was just over an hour. They didn't say it would be that long. Most important, the female went from charging, answering the phone, and covering the food and all that without a mask. I don't know why I stayed. The cheap bag ripped and the chicken fell. I witnessed as a former employee for waba grill at 1343 4th st. in Ontario. Waba grills staff cross contaminate because the do not wash the grill after grilling salmon or shrimp on it. Tossing it out is an option, taking the chance their customers are not allergic to fish is. Waba grills part time schedule they can not deliver equals a high turn over rate making the mistake common, grilling fish and poultry on the same grill. read more

I love Waba Grill, I have made my husband sick of it, I love it that much. The reason for a 2 star at this location is due to inappropriate staff behavior. I went with my 5 year old to get chicken bowls after school and we were greeted with 6 people behind the counter. 2 working, 3 in plain clothes joking around on their phones. 2 males in plain clothes, not the uniform, were joking around behind the counter looking at pictures on their phones and trying to get everyone else back there to look at them as well. 1 trainee, in uniform took my order. she had to repeat herself many times because I could not hear what she was saying due to the goofing off of the males behind the counter. 1 other female worker was training her on which buttons to push, but did nothing about the loud playing around going on and actually took part. She only paid attention to the trainee when I ordered a second bowl of the same thing, she took a moment to show her how to duplicate an order with 1 button push. A 3rd male behind the counter was in uniform and back by the food. He took time out of socializing to prepare our bowls and failed to cut the chicken. I had to ask for the waba sauce to be refilled because there was none in the container. This visit was very upsetting because it is so close to home and very convenient. While we have had orders come home missing items, this treatment of customers in the store is very unprofessional. no business should run this way. I love this location! Ever since I started frequenting this location I stopped going to all the others. They are very consistent with the quality of their food and they have excellent customer service. They also maintain both, the inside and the outside, of the restaurant very clean which is one of the things I look for when eating out. Absolutely the worst customer service!!! My daughter and I came to this location 2 days in a row, once in the evening and once in the afternoon. In both occasions, the employees who helped us, Priscilla and Molly. were rude and had attitude . No customer skills whatsoever and look like they don't want to be working there. It's unfortunate because we love Waba Grill but because of the customer service we received multiple times here we'll take our business elsewhere. Ordered a catering meal here today for 12 people and the customer service was great. They were able to take my order and have it ready with a short notice. They also packed up the sauces, utensils and everything. The guy who toom my order, whose name I wish I remembered, was very nice and had a great personality. He was so funny and his only goal was to make sure that I had everything taken care of. There energy in the building is great and even watching the employees interact with other customers was impressive. Stopped in here today and was not too thrilled with my food. The orange was dry and didn't look like it should actually be eaten, it looked like it had been cut a week ago, and the vegetables were as hard as a rock. They were just plain raw. I thought they were supposed to be steamed? When I ordered, I asked for a 1/2 tofu and a 1/2 steak plate, since the sign showed they now have tofu. They said they couldn't do that. They said they would not put tofu with steak on the same plate. So, I had to order 1/2 steak, 1/2 chicken. don't really like the chicken, since it's thigh meat and the steak was hard to chew. I wanted to finally try the new location on Kendall.. But I guess I went at the wrong time. The young woman working as cashier was very unpleasant and seemed annoyed with each customer. I figured it was tolerable at the moment because the food is always great. Well our food was terrible. I got two bowls: shrimp and chicken. I love this place. Staff is always friendly and food is always good. I usually get the chicken bowl or the steak bowl. Sometimes I get the plate. Everything tastes fresh, even when I run in right before closing. Owner is around a lot and he's nice. He'll interact with the guests. It's also nice to see police eat here. While I am used to going to the Waba in Yucaipa, this one makes for an easy lunch as I head up to Victorville. I've been to the Kendall restaurant twice now, two-weeks apart, and had the chicken veggie bowl both times. On both occasions the brown rice was overcooked, mushy and still wet; the veggies were way overcooked and not drained very well; the chicken was also way overcooked, mushy and unappetizing. There may be lots of reasons for this, but all I know is that the cooks in Yucaipa have their act together - Kendall, not so much! read more

I love Wabba Grill because the food is delicious, but for some reason, at this particular location, my orders always have something wrong with them. The last three times that I have visited this location. There has been something wrong with my order. They either forget to add avocado to my order, or they forget to add the soup. Their avocado is an extra $1.50, so it is really bothersome when they forget such a small detail. Those are the reasons why I have given this location 4 stars instead of 5. read more

I can definitely say the customer service is great here. The lady's are always perked up with a smile on there face, but the food is totally different from other waba grills. The texture of there food is dry and the veggies are always over cooked unless you tell them not to cook it long at all. I rather travel all the way across town to the waba grill on Rialto to get better quality and a better portion size of meat. Salmon is my fave but not at this waba grill. read more

Yummy place to eat right down the street from CSUSB! Healthy and fast! The shopping center is kind of lonely, can't wait until it fills out!

The place is really clean and everything looks nice but the cook was questionable... He kept checking out my sister and his shirt was inside out. We ordered tofu bowls and the tofu was one massive block and wasn't chopped up at all. The amount of avocado that they gave was really good but the food itself had no flavor and was really bland. That was my first visit to waba grill and it will be my last. Will continue to get my tofu bowls from flame broiler from now on (it's cheaper too!) read more
