Ambience (8/10): Modern, upscale decor gives this spot a refined yet welcoming feel--perfect for a relaxed happy hour. Food: * Mini Chirashi Bowl (8/10): Beautifully presented, remarkably fresh, and packed with flavor. * NY Steak (6.5/10): The chimichurri sauce was a great touch and the presentation was spot-on. While the steak was slightly overcooked and tough, it's still a solid value at $20. Service (10/10): Santana was outstanding--fast, warm, and professional from start to finish. Overall (8/10): A enjoyable experience with great service and solid food. I'll definitely be returning. *Pro tip: Park in the adjacent hotel lot and bring the ticket with you. Nova will validate and save you $21

The limitless brunch experience was pretty limited. We could only order a few items each round and the server came around 4 times during the 90 minute experience. We were able to order and try most of the items we wanted. It was pricey and still had add on items that required another fee like bottomless drinks or adding proteins. Nice to try but too many restrictions at that price point.

Been here so many times before and have loved it every time! My recent visit remains the same with my fav dishes of the night being the sinigang wings and the blackpink roll! as always, the service here is great! the place is loud but in the best way with people having fun and enjoying their meal! i forget how much i love this place can't wait to go back again!

Great service! Modern and cozy atmosphere. Drinks were good and food was delicious! They validate parking which is a cherry on top!

3.5 stars, but rounded up because the restaurant's parking validation actually ended up covering past the two hour mark that I originally thought was the validation cap. I probably would cried if I had to pay for expensive Anaheim hotel parking, so thank you Nova for the assist. The food was just okay IMO. My friend took me here for a belated birthday celebration and we ordered a couple of their fan favorite dishes to share. This included: - Panko Crusted Salmon - Double Hamachi Roll - Panko Crusted Salmon - Gochu-nara Pasta - Scallion Pancake Asada Of these, the only dish that I'd order again would maybe be their Double Hamachi Roll and that probably be if it was ever offered under happy hour pricing. Their salmon on the other hand was actually very buttery and they cooked it surprisingly well, but the sauce surrounding it was pretty flavorless. It could've done with additional broccolini as well. Another bummer was that I had heard such amazing things about their Scallion Pancake Asada appetizer, but was only to be left unfulfilled and couldn't enjoy one of favorite forms of steak to its full potential. You're going to laugh when you find out why. It wasn't because of the way it was cooked or seasoned. It wasn't because of the warmth of the dish. It wasn't even because of the portion of the meal or the price point. It was literally because the slices of skirt steak were too thick for me to bite through, and our server never brought out knives for us to dine with, so I just suffered in silence.. trying to power through the jaw strength of all of my ancestors combined. On top of all of this, they didn't really do anything for my birthday either even though I noted it in my OpenTable reservation, so that was kinda meh. I'm open to giving them another shot and trying out their happy hour in the future since I'm local and I know restaurants/servers have their off days, but dang I'm really hoping that the next experience is more redeeming than the last.

What a great find on a Friday night! I love how creative these sushi rolls were. My favorites were all the nigiri bellies ( toro, hamachi, salmon belly) and the uni was very tasty! The double hamachi was great and had a great kick to it. Thank you Alyssa for taking care of us and for all the recommendations. I left feeling fat and satisfied.

This place was amazing! Celebrated friends birthday here in Whiskey room. It was private and fun. The place adds a good feel of night club, it gets your energy pumped up. The drinks were all really good. One drink that lingers on my mind is my revenge. It had a green snake in the glass and smoky flavor, the server serves the drink with lid on top. When the lid is removed, smoke comes out making a nice instagram video. Food was amazing. Asian fusion at its finest, recommend you to get the green scallion pancake with carne asada. Book your next friends gathering event here and enjoy the good food and drinks

This review is directed specifically for their Sunday limitless brunch. I would consider this one of my top favorite brunch place. I think the price is decent for the type of dishes you can choose. Their food is exceptional overall. I love that it is Asian food. My favorites was their ube pancakes, blue crab handroll, pork belly Benedict, steak and eggs, and scallop fried rice. Their matcha toast was on the bitter side for me. It wasn't too crowded and the ambiance is nice. Service was great and quick. Overall, it's my type of food that I like and I had a great time.

Our family of 8 celebrated Father's Day dinner at Nova, and we had a wonderful experience. Make sure to validate your parking, they have plenty of parking available. The restaurant itself is beautiful, classy, and has a great ambiance. The hosts and servers were all friendly and attentive. A special shoutout to our server for recommending the Father's Day special; otherwise, we probably would have spent much more! We ordered the tomahawk special with two additional steaks for $120, Floating Garlic Noodles, Sashimi Platter, Pork Belly Bao, Dragon Breath sushi roll, sinigang wings, and for dessert, the Matcha tiramisu and Chocolate Ganache Cake . We also enjoyed their $5 draft beers and sake. For a family of 8, our total came out to less than $500, which was a great value considering the quality and amount of food. Everything we ordered was delicious, the service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere made our Father's Day celebration extra special. We'll definitely be back!

Don't be discouraged when you see that you have to pay for parking they validate if you dine in. We were greeted by Tram the host at the front and a really really cute ambience of a holographic Koi fish pond. Really cute photo op spots. Although it was a Friday night around 8:30 PM, we didn't make a reservation as we just found this place but it took about 10-15 minutes to get seated. It looks like there was a good amount of bigger parties, but not a lot of servers. Besides service being a little slow the drinks were bomb. We ordered the ASMR which stands for angry stick mango rice drink, and we also got the My Revenge. 11/10 drinks. The chili garlic wontons were really good. Beware it is pork and shrimp. We loved them. We also got the pork belly baos and it was ehh (a little too much hoisin sauce). Plain tasting, but pork belly was soft. But we got the floating noodles which were super cool and tasted good. And we also got one roll which was called the double Hamachi roll. I rate the roll a 9/10. Alyssa was our server and she was very knowledgeable of the menu as this was our first time here as well as the drinks and all things that pertain to what have nuts and what did not and helped me through that which I really appreciate.

Wanting elegant, upscale Asian fusion food? I've always been looking for a stylish spot for celebrations... until I found Nova. Located right next to the Hyatt Regency Orange County and just minutes away from Disneyland Resort!! Check out ths Dragon's Breath! What. The. Flame. And speaking of celebrations... we're here celebrating our first Catalina trip! I mean, yeah... we're eating this fresh sashimi after spending the day looking at fish. The irony is not lost on us. So let's get into some meat! Kung Pao Chicken and a Chashu Bowl. Taking familiar favorites and presenting them in a refined way. Also, the Cornstar Cream Mocktail. So trendy! IG: socalhkfoodies

I think this is on everyone's speakeasy list!…read more Make sure you make a reservation It is very packed. They offer bar seating and booth / table Follow the wall from Randy's donuts and Look for a wall of Japanese sake/beer barrels and head towards the restaurant - the rolling boil. There will be a check in host and stand there and wait (it will be located up against the wall with a big secret door right next to the hostess station) It's very New York inside. When I first came in Spring with the amazing, Karen, the menu and everything was great Now, I took my friend who was in town from Nashville and it was a brand new theme. It's the great Gatsby. Even our waitress, Jasmine was dressed for the occasion. I would say this place is known for Absinthe. They have cocktails featuring it or you can get one of the huge apparatus (huge and glowing green) which, if you are into it? I highly recommend. Just one of the huge apparatus makes one regular drink. Or, what Karen and I did, was split it and make it into a shot for the both of us. The waitress comes out and shows you how it works and goes over everything. Karen, who I came with, was a pro and knew her way around it. She showed me the ropes lol. Honestly, if you are here? When in Rome. Go all out and try it, since it's where they shine here. They took off a few menu items and added some themed drinks. ( a couple new champagne themed drinks) They have big entree items but I suggest small bites and sharing and mostly coming for the drinks. There's no bathroom inside, so you do have to leave the bar and go to the closest one (over behind Randy's donuts) and then enter the speakeasy again Both times coming here I've never had an issue. It's a small, packed place. And yet they still have the cocktails flowing and the food coming out in a good time. So the food and drinks are good Atmosphere is lovely. Service is good. Especially for it usually being very busy in here This place is located inside the Anaheim packing district. So I suggest hitting up a couple other spots before or afterwards for some more food or drinks P.S. it is very dark In here. They never cared if we used our light to look at the menu. However, they do not want flash photography They also do not strictly enforce a dress code (my friend from Nashville asked) however, they suggest dressing business casual and not too underdressed

I really liked the clarified strawberry drink, similar to strawberry and cream. I ordered a drink after that unfortunately forgot the name (photo attached with a tall glass) but there was no special cocktail craft taste to it. Just hard liquor taste and undrinkable :( the bartender kindly offered another drink. Unfortunately none of the food was the least bit good. Steak and fries was ordered medium rare and cooked to medium well with what seemed like no seasoning was on there at all. Crab cake was just ok and the slaw beneath it was drenched in a vinaigrette that was just sour and unpleasant. And the Mac and cheese, as we were very hopeful and looking forward to, was probably the blandest Mac and cheese we ever had. We asked the lady bartender for salt and she handed us, no exaggeration (and you guys will probably think I am) a salt shaker with 10 grains of salt in it and said "looks like there's a lil something you could still get out of there" My jaw dropped. But yeah. The shredded meat on top of the Mac and cheese was cooked beyond the point of edible. That one was unfortunately sent back bc we just couldn't eat it. We were bummed over all mostly about the food.

We arrived about an hour after opening, and the bar already felt completely unprepared. The bartender was eating food at the bar while we were there, and after getting our initial drinks, we were essentially left on our own. She never checked back with us, and not once were we asked if we wanted another drink. For a place I had been excited to finally visit, this was easily one of the worst bar experiences I've ever had. The service was inattentive, the atmosphere felt unprofessional, and the overall experience left a very bad impression. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

When I said "Bar" and "Santa Ana" in the Yelp search - of course it said "Club 616" in the first…read morespot - OF COURSE IT SAID 616!!! I was lucky enough to stumble across this gem of the center of OC when they first opened - and I am proud to be a regular here. I don't know how to go somewhere else - because I feel like the staff are giant gems in this jewel of a spot. Winters is a curator of boozy information that has helped me learn about "gin" and "root beer whiskey" so I can sound like an adult-ish purveyor, when really I know close to nothing except being a willing student to his creations. Dan the Man and Jacob always see me raise my hand in the corner of the bar, like the student I am, and have been willing to fill in the blanks for me when I know I am of thirst, but do not have the words for what to order. Every person working in the well has treated me with kindness - they have taken the time to get to know me, and I will be forever appreciative of how they have taken care of me over the years. But the real joy has been the transformation that this spot has for building a community of people in Santa Ana for real recognizing real. I have been bringing my Dad with me to play pool for the past few years. Sometimes people ask me if he plays professionally, I am terrible, and my skill incline is slow, he is patient and plays with the same level craftiness that the staff offer the cocktails. My Dad is always stoked when we have time to go have a few hours of games at 616 - especially now that there are regulars on 4th street that are excited to see that he is there playing - and they rush to write their names on the chalkboard to challenge him - or beat him in a game they really earned the W. On lazy Sundays, I watch couples sit with their drink, listening to Jazz, and watching my Dad whoop my ass while making amazing shots. I am forever grateful to Memo who sometimes takes a break from his shift behind the bar to give my dad an actual challenge - which allows me the chance to watch my Dad enjoy fellowship around the table. Knowing the table was a relic of the bars former self, and knowing the history that this spot has in Santa Ana is a reminder that so much around us can change - but it is those moments of the crack of the rack, the cheer of getting the combo shot, and the shake of hands when it's over that shows that it's not just about the pool table - but about the energy of a place that is welcoming and curated by people who care about what they do - and care about who comes through their doors. Thank you Jason and Mike B to bringing this to 4th St and supporting the community that was already here - and for building a community for the future. Thank you to Christina and Brandon for always having amazing pictures, decor, and fun events at 616 that help introduce new folks into this great spot. Time is short. Learn about Root Beer Whiskey. Write your name on the Chalk Board. No one lives forever.

The drat beer selection is solid and the cocktails are well crafted. Highly recommend this spot. One of my favorite it's Downtown Stabba Ana
