Waco Waffle is a hot spot during lunch hours. The interior is small and has limited seating, but seating also extends outside in the grass. Even with that, the restaurant remains full. We appreciated a busy waitress taking the time to find us a seat when she noticed we were standing around. Overall, service was fine and understandable given the demanding environment. We received food an hour after we arrived due to waiting for the seat and food to be freshly made. They make good and soft waffles. The Webster's strawberries were a bit tart. Chicken tenders were crispy and good. None one of the dishes really stood out but they weren't bad, just basic. Overall, this place is good for those who enjoy the local experience and don't mind a wait!
WORTH THE HYPE. Amazing gluten free "university" waffle. This is listed under sweet but to me it was a bit of savory as well. I LOVE peanut butter and chocolate, banana, but adding the caramel was so good too! The pricing is a bit strange because it's only 2$ more to get the "whole" waffle but a half probably would have been enough, because the toppings make it very fulfilling. I'm not sure if they charged more for gluten free cause my sister paid thanks sis lol. I would go back every weekend if I lived here. The pricing for my particular waffle was totally fair at 12.99$. My sister and girlfriend really enjoyed theirs too, some type of peach (amazing whip cream) and a brisket sandwich waffle. Delicious delicious delicious!!!
Took about 45 mins to get our food this morning which I did anticipate due to the large gathering we saw when driving up . What I did not expect was to get a cold waffle, and cold eggs as well after spending that much time waiting and costing $37 - wow!! The taste was good but the portion was very small and cold combined with the wait and I have to rate it at a B- overall. What you see in the pic , and a coffee, and can Diet Coke was $37Have nit decided if we will try again or not since it's an hour away.
Waffles made fresh to order. They are definitely a step up from Lego waffles. Nothing too special, I think they are over priced for what you get. I understand you are also paying for the experience and ambiance of the place, so that does make up for it. Overall good place to spend with family. They have a village where you can explore to walk off all those carbs. Line was out the door when we went. You order at the front desk then sit after you ordered.

Lastly the ALICO was what I chose for my Sweet option. Reminded me of a Monte Cristo sandwich with turkey and cheese, melting inside a chipotle, drizzle and sprinkled with powdered sugar.. also absolutely delicious! Don't be discouraged when you drive up and say the line it is 250% worth the way
This cute little Waffle restaurant has counter service where you order, and the food is delivered to your table. The waffles really are delicious and the menu was varied with selections of sweet waffles and savory waffles, like chicken and waffles. I went with the basic waffles with syrup and they were very fluffy and fantastic. Highly recommend
Sadly, I cannot give 5*... I so badly wanted to. The young lady that just started, was her first day, was so sweet. Everyone was really kind and friendly. The portions vs.. the prices are astronomically disproportionate... everything was tasty. The jalepeno waffle with turkey grilled cheese was amazing. No cold drinks. No ice cups. It was so hot, even inside. We were on a road trip from San Antonio to Dallas to go drop our daughter off for college and it was on the list of pre-planned stops. All I can say is at least we got to try it. Thankfully they had a decent military discount, because woo-wee. We are going to have to eat again soon. The videos and pics online do not accurately depict the servings. This is just one of those places you go to just to say you went. There. I've said it. (Sad face)

We got up early, hit the road to Plano with excited bellies and big breakfast dreams, and rolled into Waco Waffle Company fully expecting greatness. The place itself? Adorable. Seriously cute setup with a warm, friendly staff that makes you feel instantly welcome. So far, so good. My road trip buddy ordered the bagel sandwich with pastrami and was absolutely living their best brunch life. (They can write their own rave review--I'm just here to say, there is hope.) But me? I ordered a plain waffle. Just wanted to let the waffle shine--simple, golden, fluffy perfection. I had visions of slathering it with butter, steam rising from every crevice, that crisp-tender bite that makes you close your eyes and hum. You know what I mean. What arrived... was the size of my palm. Not joking. It was $10.50. For that price, I was expecting a much bigger waffle.... The photo is of the waffle and those tiny condiment containers - which is almost half the size of the waffle, folks. It looked and tasted like a defrosted frozen waffle from H-E-B that someone politely waved near a toaster. Barely warm. Not fluffy. Not crispy. Just... sad. It was the kind of waffle that makes you stare off into the distance and reevaluate your life choices. To make it worse--I was still hungry. My breakfast fantasy: denied. Look, they've got a lot of fun toppings and loaded options, and maybe that's the move here. But if you're craving a classic, hot-off-the-iron, plain waffle that speaks for itself... this ain't it. Listen, the people are lovely. The place is charming. But if you're chasing waffle greatness in its purest form, temper your expectations. My dreams were golden and fluffy. My waffle, sadly, was not.
Sweet or Savory, what do you prefer?? Waffle Sandwiches, bagels, or waffle plates--there are so many options and so little time to try them all. Cold beverage options are available while waiting in line to order. Upon entering, you have to walk through the line and around the restaurant to get in line to order before getting your seat. Freshly made in an open kitchen. My only complaint would be the layout. When it's bustling, the line wraps around, so the door you enter is blocked by the line wrapped around the inside of the restaurant, waiting to order. The architecture and the old wood beams are gorgeous
My wife and I visited Waco Waffle on Saturday, 18 April 2026. My wife had the waffles with peaches and cream (forgot the name) and I went with the Brisket Grilled Cheese sandwich. I have never had a savory jalapeño waffle but it was soooo gooood!!! I've also never brisket where teeth were optional and not required! Friendly staff, great food, the trip to Waco from H-Town was worth it with just this stop!

We saw a viral TikTok about Waco Waffle, so when we were in town, we decided to give it a try. There was a long line when we arrived, but we took a chance, and I'm glad we did. We waited about 20 minutes to get inside. Once you enter, you order at the counter and then find a seat. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and it took about 15 minutes for our food to come out. We ordered three of the savory waffles, topped with egg, turkey bacon, chicken, avocado, and white gravy. Everyone at the table agreed it was worth the wait. The food was delicious, filling, and full of flavor. The inside isn't very large, but it has a cozy feel, and the grounds around the restaurant are beautiful. If I'm ever back in Waco, I would definitely come again. read more
Everything here is delicious! The peanut butter waffle, and the locs and bagel was to die for! Seating is limited inside, but there is plenty of outdoor seating. Try to get a spot in the shade, and underneath the big tree. You'll definitely get service with a smile! read more

I had a wonderful time at The Waco Waffle Co! I enjoyed the Cameron which was a waffle with ice cream & I drizzled it with chocolate sauce, yum! The place was cute & the staff was super friendly! Get there early to avoid the line out the door! Will be back for more! read more

A must visit while in Waco. With both sweet snd savory options, you can mix it up between a meal and dessert all at the same time. Inside, the place is not very big, but has nice patio seating as well. You order at the counter off a menu board, receive a number and staff will bring it to your table or find you if you are ordering it to go. The service is quick and despite sometimes a line 20 people deep, it moves quickly and the service is efficient. We ordered a Webster, sweet waffle, and it was great. The waffle had excellent flavor and the toppings were fresh and complemented it perfectly. Seth, the owner, extremely polite and gracious. read more

First time, this place is a hidden gem near a General Store & Market. Food was amazing. The chicken 10/10 it was crispy and tender at every bite. The protein platter was a nice mix of everything with the house sauce chefs kiss. The brisket grilled was a good cheese pull could have used more brisket tho. The only complaint is the waffle too dough-ie (if that is word) lol and dry. But it wasn't bad. read more

I got the pastrami bagel sandwich on an onion bagel and it was seriously so good. The bagel was ugly and I was skeptical when I saw it but it was excellent. Guy at the counter was nice. People working were giving culty vibes but whatever, I came for the food. And it was good. Also there's like a cute mill outside and cornhole. Overall a good experience. read more

Yesterday we entered excited to try this place out since it's close to our home! We entered & the lady just said hello & thats its, we didn't think much of it at that point. After sitting for a bit we noticed every costumer that would enter the lady would say hello have y'all been here before & would explain what to do, if they were new. Every person I saw coming in the door was Caucasian. We felt as if they were racist, I could be wrong but that's what happened. When we put in our order the lady mentioned they were out of strawberries it was fine with us. Then when the people that ordered after us got their order they had fresh strawberries on their plates!! I didn't think that was fair. The food was ehhhh for the price it's not worth it!! I'm glad we tried it out when it wasn't so busy because I would have left. Not many people dining in & they took forever with our food!! Also the drinks are sooo tiny, I added a picture of it! Their milkshakes well they're watered down (better milkshakes at Health Camp). I was hoping this place was good since it's all hyped on Facebook/tik tok. It's all fake guys, there's way better food out there don't waste yalls money coming here!! We won't be coming back! From the very bottom of my heart I hope y'all start treating every person the same. read more
Oh my goodness they were super yummy. We visited over a weekend and was able to try their chicken and waffles as well as their waffle with strawberry and chocolate. Both were very yummy. Staff was pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. Prices were reasonable. The space is peaceful, and the wood really allows you to breathe in the ambience. read more

The food was amazing! We had the Webster waffle and split it. The whipped cream was fresh and the waffle was soft and moist. Beautiful mill building with post and beam construction. It was an unexpected treat! We will be back on our next visit to Waco. read more

When you first get there and walk in the front door the customers tell you that you have to go get in line out back. It takes about 30 minutes from the back door to get to the lady to order. Then you have to wait on your food. But it's definitely worth the wait! We probably waited about an hour for everything all together. We sat outside and they come out and call your number when your order is ready Our favorite was the brisket grilled cheese. We will definitely go back! read more

We loved this place!! Such a clean, welcoming environment with delicious food. Don't think it's just sugary waffle dishes, there are tons of savory and yummy alternatives. Wonderful food, beautiful building and such a sweet staff. read more
