Today I had to make the drive solo for a family emergency and it was a very comforting place to be eating by myself in a somewhat sombre moment. As far as food goes, I often order the chicken flautas or the ground beef chimichanga, which is a filling portion size without making you feel like overeating. Today I tried the shredded beef enchiladas, which were recommended by the server. Both the red and green enchilada sauce were great and the beef was very flavorful. The service was good and all the employees were friendly. Dinner is served family style with your party along with other parties who are seated at your table. At first I was skeptical of this, but we actually had some really good conversations with two other couples at our table. You receive complimentary starters that will be passed from one end of the table to the other. The complimentary dishes were all really good and filling. We all ordered their dinner special which was a New York strip with mushrooms and garlic. We requested extra garlic, but the garlic was pretty much raw (should have been sautéed). The New York had way too much fat which was disappointing because it was only a 10 oz. I didn't try their bread pudding because I was so stuffed with all the sides I ate, but those at our table mentioned it was delicious. The complimentary glass of wine was a nice touch to start the evening. I ordered myself a Picon drink (I believe this is their signature drink) and it was really refreshing. Another had some fresh eggs and another was selling plants. Otherwise, its a bunch of crafts and some Pampered Chef. There is a place that sells prepared food, however.
