We purchased the vehicle after a VERY long day at this dealership on January 2, 2021. I saw some…read moretable tents on desks at the dealership that talked about the "Zecksperience." I read several 5-star reviews on Google, and wondering what we did to deserve such terrible customer service. Despite having picked out a single vehicle to drive ahead of time and setting an appointment, it took nearly SIX hours to get through the process. This is on top of a 2.5 hour drive each direction from Dallas. I set an appointment for 12:30pm on Saturday. My son and I left home at 10am and reached the dealership at 12:30pm. When we went in, there were several people in a waiting area, and a few people milling around, and it was not clear who was on staff. My son and I stood in the lobby area for at least 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. A couple came in a side door, moved in front of us and Nick (who ended up being our salesperson) stood up and greeted them. They said they wanted to look at a truck and he took them straight to his desk. If you don't have a greeter, you should invest in a "take a number" machine, online check-in or sign-in sheet. Another gentleman came by a few minutes later and asked if anyone was helping us. I said no and that I wasn't sure who to talk to, but that we had an appointment to look at the truck. He had us sit with "Allie" who said she couldn't really help us but she could get us keys. Dave, who said he was the General Sales Manager, then took our insurance info and a copy of my son's license. Allie and Dave were both very friendly, and Dave apologized for the lengthy wait. But at this point, nobody was helping us. We took the truck out for a drive, then walked around the lot and looked at several other trucks. by this time, it's pushing 2:30-2:45pm and we have yet to speak with a salesperson - even though we had an appointment. We finally went back inside and told Dave that we needed to speak with someone. Eventually, Nick came out to talk to us. Nick was friendly but, to be honest, could not answer many questions about the truck. There was a "whine" coming from the truck we purchased and Nick tried to start a couple of other trucks to see if it was normal. The sound was not there in other trucks, but my son, who is a mechanic with Park Place Jaguar/Land Rover in Dallas, felt confident that it is a vacuum leak and would not be a major issue to correct. We made the decision to purchase the truck and went with Nick to start filling out paperwork, at around 3:45pm. I have a picture of my son about midway, taken at 3:54pm. Then we were told we would need to wait for the finance guy. We were told that the finance guy was with someone, but we were next. He finally finished with them, then took back two men who were behind us! I went to ask Dave what was going on. He said it was a cash deal and would take 5 minutes, but it was much longer than that. We finally were taken back at 5:45pm, a full two hours after we filled out paperwork, and more than 5 hours after we arrived. We finally wrapped up at 6:20pm. While Dave acknowledged our wait, I don't know that he realized how long we were actually there. 12:30pm to 6:20pm to buy a vehicle we had already picked out is excessive. He did make sure there was a full tank of gas in the truck, which was appreciated, but I was surprised that this isn't the norm at this dealership. While we were at Nick's desk late in the day, he asked if anyone had explained the "Zecksperience" and that this was something that they normally talk about first thing. He focused on wanting good reviews for word-of-mouth advertising, and that there was no negotiating. Honestly, the $499 admin fee was a big rub for me, only because of the terrible service we received. The website goes into great detail about how the Zecksperience saves me time... https://www.zeckfordokc.com/zecksperience/ ... This all sounds great, but this was not at all our experience. Quite the opposite. Also, I had to order replacement keys for the locking lugs. Nick and Dave committed to getting this taken care of, which is in writing, but to date, they haven't sent me a check for $38. (And some friendly advice... Nick should dress the part of a professional. The casual shorts and headband did not represent Zeck well.) Buying a car is always stressful, but when you drive off the lot, you should be happy and excited about your new purchase. Our experience yesterday sucked all the joy out of the experience and we were just thankful to be leaving. Leaving a car dealership in a foul mood in your new vehicle is just wrong. I tried to contact some people in corporate, but never heard anything. I will say that Whitney, the internet manager, is AWESOME and was very apologetic. I wanted to like Zeck, but at this point, I would recommend you go elsewhere until these amateurs figure things out.

4 days ago I came to…read moreyour lot on the 23rd day of June 2018 talked with you Kevin on getting y'all to do a in house finance on a vehicle. You showed me trucks you had and due to payment amounts I chose to take the other truck that had a hard shift in 2nd because you stated it did that all the time when I asked about it that day cause I had a concern about that oh it's no problem it has done that since we've had it, ok I trusted that. Being a first time buyer at y'all's lot. That was my bad for trusting that much, but it is what it is not much face value. We took possession on the 25th day of June 2018 and then I bring it back on the 26th day of June 2018 for a leak in the floor board which y'all fixed and a transmission issue, y'all take it to your mechanic and he says that nothing is wrong and he drove it and placed it on the computer and no codes he has been doing transmissions for 20 years. Trust not much there, really. so I pick it back up on the 27th day a June and the transmission is still doing the same with the slip I had noticed, and then it starts growling after the shift to 2nd. I then start reasearching the issue Huddiburg Chevrolet Service stated that the hard shift was the first sign of valve body issues, and that it was putting max pressure to 2nd to lock converter, and that a check valve it the transmission is probably not working. I also got with Ferguson Chevrolet about it and they stated the same and that pressure need to be checked on the transmission. I then had taken to Kings Transmission where Randy had drove it and he as well placed on the computer it did not show a code. Randy also stated the same as the Chevrolet dealers about the hard shift, and then he pulls the dip stick out while it was up to tempature at idle he pulled the dipstick it was light brown and it smelled like a additive had been put in the transmission. I the contacted Kevin back on the 12th day of July about the transmission and mentioned that I had done some research on the issue with the transmission, when I spoke of talking to the 2 dealerships that I delt with on it and the transmission shop I also took it to he stated that he would not have the dealership do the work cause they are just out to make money, hmmmm isn't that why anyone is in business is to make money! Even the Transmission shop you deal with isn't he in business to make money. Well any way, Ok so I purchased a truck from you guys and yet even though you finafin heard the problem that exists in the transmission. You did offer to replace the transmission if it stopped working with 6mths or 6000 miles which I appreciate, but when I asked you to wave the money you wanted with my trade, oh no can't do that even though it seems y'all could being you own the financial institution that you did it through so you could just choose not to. Because you said we are going to loose money on your truck so we will have to have the extra 750. Down. Ok well actually you could have actually give me my truck back since actually no money has changed hands. The vehicle I financed with you is still in the same shape as I got it. Couple of more miles on it now. Yet again I guess I just trust to much in people that seem to be good folks, my bad again. I will get this one paid for one day but I definitely will not recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle, nor will I do the same again with you people. Hate to be on these terms with y'all but it looks like it is going to to be a bumpy bumpy bumpy road from here out. First time and last time buyer Hate to be that way. The other thing is not letting someone know you are going to make a hard hit their credit report without letting the customer know you are running one. Cause if that was going to happen I would have not even bothered with buying. Definitely will never buy here again and will advertise for folks to beware because S&S Motors 124 N. Green Ave. Purcell, Oklahoma does in fact prey on bad credit and low income people to be able to take advantage of their needs and then expecting them to be able to come up with extra money for a Down that they had already said it would be hard to do and make other utilities also. Lesson learned and hopefully it will steer folks to go somewhere else..
