I carry the majority of my stress in my upper body. The other day I started feeling as if I was turning into a statue because my neck, shoulders and upper back were so tight. I called Wadee on a Monday at 7:30 and was able to get an appointment at 8:15. I got an hour long Swedish massage and my masseuse's name was Ann. I LOVE ANN! How such a little woman could have so much power in her hands is beyond me. I asked for firm pressure and when I tell you she worked out those knots... the girl worked out those knots! My shoulders were still sore to the touch the next day. Thank God for Ann! I will most definitely be coming back to Wadee Spa for my next massage. Just left Wadee, and I wish I could comment on the massages. Showed up at 10:15 to get a 2 hour combination massage, and was greeted by a young lady inside the shop who yelled at me that she didn't know how to operate the front locks, and I would need to wait outside for 15 minutes. Not a big deal, even though the purpose of the visit was to alleviate a migraine, waiting outside in the 50 degree weather for a few minutes seemed worth it. One full hour goes by and finally, I call another Lyft to get me home. Of course, at this point the owner arrives and annoyedly asks me what I'm doing. I let her know that I've been waiting for an hour and am just going home. Her response is to shoo me away from the door so I don't "Iscare away customers". Not only did I waste 16 dollars just getting there and back, but was also insulted by the staff. Never again will I make the mistake of going to Wadee. read more

Listen, it's way cheaper than what you'll get at SLS hotel bc there's no room or walls to separate you from other clients, just curtains (I suggest going earlier in the day so that you're the only client in there). Anyways, my lady was awesome. She knew the exact amount of pressure to apply. Let's face it, I basically just like a rub down. Anything harder and I'll cry and wince. Second visit, different woman. Everything was going great until she decided she wanted to have a convo with me. It all started with a compliment here and there. About my skin, my legs, my shoes, my purse, etc. Maybe I should've spoken up from the beginning and told her to stop talking. My fault for not trying to come off rude. But what really tipped it off (no pun intended) is that she started getting really close to my hoohah. Like, if I coughed any second, her fingers would've slipped inside me. That would've been a happy ending, for her, not for me boo boo. Child!! I had to hold my breathe to make sure it wouldn't happen. Bought a Lifebooker deal for a couples hot stone massage. It was pretty awesome, they have a small parking spot in the back of their building. The whole experience was very relaxing and quiet. The bed is heated, so you're not climbing into a cold bed. Without sounding like a perv, they massaged parts that other massage parlors never even touched (my shins/thighs) The pricing is very decent and the staff is very friendly. I don't normally try to write bad reviews, but do feel I need to let people know when service is just plane bad. It started from the beginning when they lost our couple's massage reservations then had us on the phone with the owner. They then tried to not have us in the same area which they said they could. We asked for a 90 min deep tissue massage and got a half ass 75 min massage where it LITERALLY felt like someone was putting sunscreen on me, and then didn't even massage the whole body. It was the same for my girlfriend. I hope they do better or find better people that know how to massage. Save your money and do not come here. read more

Came here for a massage after reading glowing reviews. But the experience didn't live up to them. The massage was ok, the therapist was polite but seemed annoyed for some reason. Technique was good, nothing special, but adequate. I chose the Swedish massage so 10 or so minutes in she started using massage oil. 5 minutes after that my back and arms started to itch pretty bad, then my throat started to itch. I wait a bit, hoping it will pass but it doesn't and it gets unbearably uncomfortable. So I politely ask if she can wipe the oil off and maybe use lotion. She seems frustrated but leaves to get a towel and proceeds to wipe the oil off. I wait a couple more minutes, hoping the allergic reaction will stop, but it doesn't so I apologize and ask her if we can end the massage. She says ok, and goes to speak to the person at the front. I get dressed walk to the front, the receptionist apologizes and says "since your massage lasted 30 minutes, we can refund you $17" and starts counting out the refund. At this point I was completely outraged. It's not my fault my experience was uncomfortable and had to end halfway trough and when I asked what was in the oil they said they don't have the original bottle. In the end, they called the owner and I got my refund. Left the therapist a time for her time and left frustrated. I wouldn't call that good customer service, when I customer is having an allergic reaction to one of your products, you should be attentive and apologetic, not adversarial. Needless to say I won't be back. read more

The first time I went to this spa I got the Swedish massage. It's a great price for the hour and I liked the therapist I had. She seemed to have good technique and checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable. I left very relaxed. That was 5 star. The second time I also go a Swedish massage but it was a different therapist. She seemed to kind of wander with the massage and didn't evenly split time across body parts. About 2/3 of the time was on half the body, the rest on the other. There was also no communication and it made me think that person didn't know what they were doing, so it brings the overall rating down. Overall, a good value. I'm so happy that I found my favorite massage joint. I have been here five times now and I like how every therapists really cares what I need and want. I'm quite big, so I need strong pressure on my shoulders and lower back. One time, though, a therapist couldn't do firm pressure and so she asked if I wanted to change to a different therapist because they actually have a satisfaction policy where I can change therapists in the first 15 mins if I am not satisfied. They also told me that if the second therapists is still not to my satisfaction, then they will give me a full refund. This is great and a fair policy to me! Most of the time I choose combination massage of Thai and Deep tissue massage and they also add hot stones at the end! This place is amazing and I have already recommended many of my friends to Wadee Spa and they all love it. They can accommodate 3 people or more at the same time, so once 2 of my friends and I came as a group on Friday after work and, my god, we left the spa burdened free and ready to hit the bed. TBH, I was not expecting my deep tissue to be this good for $39. It was over the top and uncomparingly better than my $150 massages at other places. All my neck/back knots - GONE within an hour. This place is just incredible. Wadee is a no-frills spa, and that's exactly what I was looking for. I had my first massage there yesterday, and I can say emphatically -- as someone who gets 10-15 massages a year -- it was the best I have had in years. And I went based on their Yelp reviews. I called them on a weekday (New Year's Eve, as it happened) and they fit me in within 15 minutes. I had a two-hour combination Thai-and-deep tissue massage. Deep tissue, to get at the knots that always form in my upper back; and Thai, to get my body pulled apart ;-) I was pummeled, stretched, elbowed, and jabbed -- exactly the way I wanted it! The staff is courteous. The prices are great ($39/hour as a new customer special, so about $80 for my two-hour massage). And I left feeling amazing. The facility consists of a lobby area and a single, large treatment room. Massage tables have curtains around them for privacy, but yes, you are in a room with other people getting treatments, so you might hear someone sighing with relief nearby. If you are looking for champagne-style pampering of a day spa, this place isn't for you. But if you want skilled practitioners to attack your aches and pains for a super reasonable price, I highly recommend Wadee. read more

Worst place ever. They ask you to pay up front. $109 for a 2 hour massage that was not a massage. Several times I asked the person to stop with the poking and massage. I showed with my hands since his English was not very good. Finally I just had him go straight to my feet for the last hour. Thought this couldn't go wrong but I was wrong. This is not a spa, most likely not really trained therapist. When it was over the person up front asked how my massage was. I responded not good. Explained to him what the person did and didn't do. His response?? Well you are not obligated to leave a tip. WOW. Rather than get into it since my friend was still inside I just sat there n waited. Once I was walking out the door he said sorry. Let me start with the Wadee Signature Body Scrub.. Amazing!! 90 minutes of pure exfoliating. The therapist was absolutely great. Not exposing your body just the parts that she was working on. She was kind and ask if this was ok or not. Didn't talk much she just went strait to work on me. She covered every inch of my body.
