This is not our first experience with Wadi. They installed an electric vehicle charger in our garage 2 years ago. Today we had 2 receptacles in our kitchen and bathroom that were not working. I have never felt so disrespected by a contractor. I believe I was treated this way because I am a woman. I hired Wadi Electric to install the electrical system for my food trailer. After the work was completed, the owner attempted to increase the price by $500, but later agreed to honor the original estimate. I later discovered they installed the wrong equipment -- a 50-amp outlet instead of a 50-amp inlet. Because I had an event the next day, I contacted them for an urgent fix. They charged me an additional $200 for a temporary extension, which did not work properly. I was then instructed to order another extension, which I did at the owner's request. When I requested a refund for the non-working $200 extension and asked them to properly finish the job, the owner became aggressive and ultimately refused to return, despite being paid for the full installation. During multiple visits and phone calls, the workers spoke in Arabic, assuming I could not understand them. While the owner was speaking to his worker on the phone, he referred to me as a "dog," saying "كلبة". I chose not to respond at the time because my only goal was to get the job finished. To be very clear, this entire situation is over a simple correction replacing the incorrectly installed outlet with the correct 50-amp inlet. I paid for a complete electrical installation, and the job remains unfinished. At this point, their refusal to complete the work or provide a refund has left me with no choice but to pursue formal complaints with the State Electrical Licensing Board. I do not recommend this company based on unprofessional conduct, verbal disrespect, failure to complete agreed-upon work, and poor treatment of a paying customer. read more

Had a scheduled appointment for 10 AM just looking to get estimates for an extensive job. Service needed was ceiling fans, lights, change the plugs and switches from aluminum to copper and a couple other things. Agreed to come by and the time came and went and went, and went. See a pattern ? Well at 1630 get a text that person is on their way. A full 6.5 hours past the agreed upon time. If you can't notify someone about delays and they happen to everyone, then don't expect a pass to be given after 6.5 hours. Do better!! read more

This was the worst experience by far I've ever had hiring someone to do work on my house in the 30+ years I've been a homeowner. So much so I filed a complaint w/ BBB which they never replied and have also just filed a complaint with Maryland Dept of Labor - State Board of Electricians. While these complaints won't resolve my issues I don't want someone else to go thru what I did especially since it's electricity involved. Some of the issues I had with them that are documented and they said they would take of yet they went MIA. * No permits were obtained even though they were required for some of the work I hired them for. They also didn't advise me this. I didn't realize permits were required until after the fact - lesson learned. * A light fixture they said they fixed still doesn't work - nothing changed. * 1of the ceiling fans installed (replaced existing working one with a new one) doesn't work. * Damaged hard wood floor in 1 of the rooms they were working in. * New pendant installed in open 2 story foyer is 22" shorter than one I replaced. Yet electrician said it was the same length (ceiling to bottom of fixture) & it was too late since he had already cut the wiring. Plus the Rods are only halfway screwed in. * 'Patch job' they did for adding 1 of the ceiling fans where there was no light fixture or fan already. I get drywall isn't their speciality but I really question why all the mud around ceiling fans base * Has yet to give me a receipt. I paid cash - another lesson learned.. I could go on but this review is too long as it is! read more

Sloppy finish work and clean up. We had 26 lights installed by them so you would think they would put some effort and care to how things were done. When I came home from work as they were trying to wrap things up I noticed drywall dust all over the place in the areas they were working in. You can see in the attached photos the type of finishing work they do where they cut holes in the wall and ceiling. They were not personable at all. It just seemed to me once they had the check in hand they were ready to clear out. I found pieces of cut wire in various places of my house, dry wall debris and dust left all over my son's bed. I would think when you are installing this many lights the lead on the job would want to do a walk through with you to make sure all is good and they didn't even offer that.
