Mr Bright was hired to install an electric car charger and upgrade my service panel to support the car charger. I agreed to hire him and things started as they should . With BG&E there were delays. We had Brightricity come and install 3 new outlets, ground two old, existing outlets, and route a new coaxial cable and HDMI cord from a wall plate near the side of our fireplace up to the top of the fireplace for wireless mounting of our TV. Their estimate was about 20 percent less than the first we got, and the third (Kite and Key) literally never called back with an estimate. They did an excellent job, especially considering that I explained everything I wanted to be done by phone or email. Our walls are plaster, and the area above the fireplace is plaster over brick. They were still able to work cleanly, and only made 3 very small 2-3" access holes total from fishing the wire for the outlets, and all the wall plates lined up flush with the wall. They were in and out in half a day. I would say to make sure you know what you want - they suggested wire mold twice in an abundance of caution about the access holes, which ended up being fine. Luckily my wife and site supervisor knew what we wanted for sure. read more

Matthew Bright is MY hero & here's why!........ I own a boutique in Fells Point, ZELDA ZEN & recently hired a (so called) electrician to install 4 exterior, gooseneck lamps with a photocell (so they turn on at dusk & stay on until dawn.) Well, needless to say...it was a disaster from start too finish. When they guy installed them he ran the conduit on the OUTSIDE of the building vs. fishing the wires properly. PLUS they were crooked..............hideous. He made all kinds of excuses why he had too do them like that blah, blah, blah.............+ he charged me an arm & a leg. Matthew disconnected a kitchen exhaust unit that had to be removed so I could have a new range installed. After the range was in, he came back and spliced and secured the line that had run to the exhaust. He showed up when he said he would, did the work quickly and professionally, and his rates are very reasonable. He's a nice guy as well and I'd highly recommend him. read more
