The order showed up with a double cheeseburger and fries, a fried pickle burger, kids' tenders with onion rings, and a salad. Credit where it's due--the cheeseburger was solid, the fries were hot, and the kid who ordered the fried pickle burger attacked it with the enthusiasm of a Labrador finding an unattended steak. The little one cleaned her plate too, so the tenders passed the toughest food critics in America. The salad, however, looked like someone whispered the word "vegetables" over a bowl of lettuce and tossed in a little shredded cheese for moral support. It wasn't bad--it just wasn't much of a salad. Then came the part that made me wonder if common sense had taken the night off. French fries arrived without ketchup. That's not an oversight; that's a misdemeanor in at least twelve Southern states. A burger without mayo is enough to have St. Peter squinting suspiciously at your résumé. But the real masterpiece? They sent a salad...and not one plastic fork. Now, I don't know who they think orders salads through DoorDash. Maybe they assume we're all carrying silverware in the glove compartment next to the jumper cables. Perhaps they envision us spearing lettuce with a pocketknife like Daniel Boone. The food itself was mostly good, and I'd order again. They do an overall pretty good job of providing good customer service....especially for a McDonald's drive through. One recommendation to anyone going through the drive through - Check your drink before you pull away, I've actually been given the wrong drink a number of times at this location. Again, they are super nice and get it swapped quickly, but kind of annoying if you pull away and have to circle back around to get it fixed. If it wasn't for the fact that they are friendly I'd probably pass ... nothing worse than ordering a coke and getting Dr Pepper .... just wrong! Also, occasionally get breakfast or a snack here - the sausage biscuits have always been pretty good quality and I've never had a cold French Fry out of this location. I'd come back here, they are convenient. But, I'll check my order before I leave.
