Honestly, other Waffle House locations should train their staff based on the team at this restaurant. Our server, Lalique ("Lalo"), was one of the kindest and most attentive servers we've ever had. She never let our drinks get low, checked on us often without being overbearing, and made us feel genuinely welcome. She deserves a raise! Our cook, Kiana, made the best Waffle House meal I've ever had. Everything was cooked perfectly, fresh, and delicious. I've never had anyone make the hash browns the way she did, and it should be the standard. They were perfectly cooked all the way through, with all the toppings evenly distributed throughout. She even chopped up the jalapeños, which I've never had anyone do before but have always wished they would. She deserves a raise too! These two young women clearly take pride in their work, and it showed in every part of our experience. On top of the outstanding service and food, the restaurant--including the bathrooms--was exceptionally clean. We'll definitely be stopping here again whenever we're passing through. I myself can see the strangeness that I have never had a waffle in a business where waffle is in their very name, but I prefer a more savory breakfast than a sweet one.
