We were very happy with the food and the prices couldn't be beat! My husband had the egg and sausage biscuit and said it was very good. They made me a BLT even though it wasn't on the menu. The place is kinda dirty. Floors and windows look grimy. The service was wonderful, minus Laura. We had a few waitresses stop and help us and everyone was happy and attentive. Melody--who has been serving at this FL Waffle House, since the doors opened 29 years ago--welcomed us with the wholesome Southern Hospitality as soon as we walked in the door. Got our drinks quickly and it's a very limited menu, so got our order taken pretty quickly as well. Food came out soon after. We each had a burger and they were just mediocre. Went this morning for some breakfast and although it was busy they really took care of their customers. My food was made within minutes and handed to me right away. Only knock I had was it wasn't the cleanest of restaurants. I know that had to do with how busy it was but definitely could have made it a bit cleaner. Most tables dirty and stuff like that. Four stars in class - (24 hr diner, bfast all day, uniformed & counter service). Immediately greeted cheerfully by line manager and offered a cup of coffee while we waited for a table. Not a long wait - less than 2 minutes. Server was shadowed by trainee who was eager to learn the ropes. She delivered and refreshed the table after order was taken. I always enjoy the "hashbrown-speak" of Waffle House and so generally order accordingly. Minutes later, "smothered, covered, diced, peppered and topped" could be heard bellowed on the line. Wife ordered the cheese omelette and unsweetened iced tea. I, the above with a couple of sunny side ups. All Waffle Houses offer a quintessential experience - especially at the bar. This is the *best* Waffle House I've ever visited, and I've been to many WHs in my life. It was clean, the bathroom was clean (although they should have paper towels instead of an air dryer, as paper towels are more sanitary - Google it), the food was excellent, and the service was the best I've ever gotten at a Waffle House or most restaurants, for that matter. When our waitress, Nicki, brought my waffle, it was thin and I told her I thought it looked flat. She immediately asked if I wanted another one and when I said yes, she said it was already cooking! It only took a few minutes for her to come back with not one, but *two* waffles for me to choose from since, she said, they had all been coming out thin. I picked one and she actually let me have both of them! I would recommend this WH to anyone looking for good food and fantastic service. read more

Walked in on a Monday at 11:21am to get a quick bite to eat before continuing our trip back to miami. We stood at the front, close to the pay counter, unacknowledged and unsure of if we should continue standing about 4 mins had passed by or if we should grab a table that just opened up. We waited a few more moments and asked the girl at the register if we could grab the table that opened. She stopped what she was doing and started to clean the table (not what we intended) but appreciative that she did. She left the table before competing the clean up and I decided to sit down to get out of the way (this is a very small restaurant and unsure of why the building itself looks so large, it's a BIG for nothing building). Another person came over and rudely told me to get up. We ended up walking out after another woman asked my boyfriend to "excuse me sir" in the rudest way possible. Rude and out of order. And my friend had a scrambled egg with cheese,toasted,tomatoes. The atmosphere had the good old diner Vive. The staff was not overly friendly but they were professional and courteous. KATIE IS AMAZING. Loved her! I came here with my brother while on a road trip to go to Disney and we had never been to a waffle house before. Katie is the definition of a fantastic waitress... we were in and out within 30 minutes, food came out very quickly, she topped off our drinks even when they were half full, and while i was shaking a nearly empty ketchup bottle within two tries she was at the table with a full one. I was on the way to Dothan because there was something wrong with my vehicle so i stopped here to get breakfast. I had no jacket with me either, i didn't think i needed it. When i went into the Waffle house it was very cold i had goosebumps all over my arm and legs. (I was also wearing shorts). We ordered and then sat down while waiting for the food i noticed about two dead bugs on the window. There was also a fly flying around. When we got our food my sisters egg wasn't cooked properly so we sent it back. When the waitress brought another egg back it still wasn't cooked properly. So my sister just ate it anyway. I also noticed that my drink was water down. I got up to go use the bathroom and when i went into the bathroom it smelt horrible and has toilet paper on the floor. My daughter son and I went to this Waffle House. With the kids never being to one and myself not going to on in years we tried it. Let me tell you one of the best customer service experiences I have had at a restaurant in many years. When we walked in there was not an open table but two that needed to be cleared. She took our order we had small talked. Learned she had 4 kids under the age of 5 and worked there for 5 years. Have way through our meal the manager came over to ask if everything was ok. When was the last time someone did that. Then there was a gentleman sitting that another table that asked one of the waitress Myra. I think was her name to help with his phone and she said not a problem. But the customer sitting next to him said let me help you with that. And then offered him his waffle.
