Told the cook lightly scattered. Took 45 mins to get my order finished it was two meals and there was maybe 3 people in the restaurant. One employee kept trying to figure out why people were dining and dashing. It's simple the food is trash service is terrible. After waiting the 45 mins my husband went in to grab the food I checked it in the car. No gravy. Pickles were in a cup with a drinking cup lid the juice was spilling everywhere. I was very surprised when I saw the low rating for this Waffle House. The wait time wasn't too bad and the service was amazing. We ordered our food and it was out in good time and tasted amazing. All Waffle Houses are basically the same but the service here was extra special. Such a sweet kid. I wish I could remember his name.

Prices went way way way up. I didn't want to just leave so I ordered the cheapest thing I could. But still definitely regret stopping here for breakfast due to prices. read more

Food was great, and the staff was super friendly. The location is small and it was empty but we got our food quick. The man cooking was very timely and so so nice. I have NEVER been to a Waffle House that hustled as hard as the employees did here. The place was PACKED when we arrived at what I assumed was their rush... We had a group of 6, so when the bar cleared up we just filled up that whole space. The service was extremely fast and the food was amazing. The employees didn't stop moving the whole time we were there. I'm extremely impressed considering all the terrible reviews... must be outdated with new staff!!! read more

well... we used to visit this Waffle House often, always loved the customer service and food. The past three times we have went nobody has served us, we sat for 20mins waiting on a server to even acknowledge us. Mind you it wasn't even very busy. We've ended up leaving both times with no food. Waffle House needs to get a grip on who they hire personally seems to me like half of them are too stoned to know what is even happening. Food was wonderful and the service was good. Here is what was not great the place is dirty! It should be closed for a day or 2 for deep cleaning. Dirt on the signs in the windows, dirty floors, and they had lots of help just no one cleaning and wiping tables down. It is a real shame even ceiling tiles are dirty. We have been to many Waffle Houses, but apparently these employees have no other statement during shift change other than "I just got here." This was the worst Waffle House I've visited. We were given ALL dirty silverware. I gave them another shot, and Bruno brought more, and they were clean. We asked for another order of hash browns and waited and waited. Mind you there was only one other couple in the place. Mitchell, the "assistant manager" said he had just been told when I went to pay. I tried to tell him that this was the worst visit we had, and his response was "well, we have nothing but good reviews." I tried to tell him about all of the flies, but I didn't even get it out of my mouth when he said, "you have a good day." He completely dismissed me. He said, "I have stuff to do." I told him he wasn't listening to my frustration; he pointed to his ears and said, "I'm listening." He was rude and unprofessional. Sad. If they are going to make youngsters assistant managers, they should be trained to provide proper customer service. read more

Oh God, what did I do? Well it isn't that bad, a little on greasy side but everything tastes good. Loaded hash browns is the reason for coming here. The prices have gone up quite considerably. The half sweet tea half lemonade is pretty good. One thing about Waffle House, more than two at one side of a booth is a little tight, keep those elbows in! read more

Me and my friend decided to get breakfast this morning, walk in and sit at a dirty table. Because that's what you do at Waffle House, it's small and gets packed. The girl rudely comes up and says "can you not sit at a dirty table go wait" then proceeds to go to another working and talk crap. Acting like it wasn't noticeable. I wish I could have caught her name. She goes and cleans off a 2 top in another section and tell us to sit there, since when can you not pick where you sit at Waffle House? The girl who she talked her crap to was our server, very nice lady. The other girl is mean mugging us the whole time and then a mother and her son comes in, sits at the same dirty table, and she is very kindly cleaning there table. Meanwhile all 4 of her tables are dirty. If she doesn't want to work and be respectful to everyone, I don't believe she should work there. I'm also a server , and if I didn't allow guest to seat themselves in a place where that's required, I would lose my job. read more

I don't know what's going on with this place . A while back they weren't perfect but they were 10x better than now. I placed a to go order for two on letters made with egg whites and they made them with regular eggs, I had to wait 35 minutes for them to remake them. There is a girl calling out all the orders now and I think this is the problem because every since they started this the food doesn't come out on time, you have to beg for refills and they are forgetting stuff like your waffles you ordered read more

Stopped by this morning to have breakfast before we start our home Reno. They were busy but had about 7 employees. We sat at the door as there were about 3 open tables but they were all dirty. Sat there for about10 minutes and was never acknowledge. Decided to go sit at one of the dirty tables so maybe someone would see us. still no one acknowledged us or said be right with you. We sat there for 20 minutes with numerous employees walking by us and no one even acknowledgIng we were there. ive worked in the food industry and management for many years so I'm a very patient person because i understand.The service here was unacceptable. We decided to just leave and go to Rutherfordton Waffle House full restaurant again and less staff. We were acknowledged as soon as we walked in, our order taken within 5 minies and food shortly after. Wonderful service at that location. Forest City needs to take lessons from the Rutherfordton management. read more

Poor customer service. My two older kids went in to place a To Go order. They placed our order and then another customer placed theirs. After about 15 minutes I decided to go in because I was wondering what was taking so long. Ended up that the customer before us and their employee were looking through "to go" plates. There was some confusion and our orders were mixed up. After the other customer paid for hers and left ... I questioned whether or not my last two plates were looked through. The employee behind the counter stated "i don't need this .. I'm having a bad day". She proceeded to throw my money back at me and slammed the ticket on the counter Stating that "someone else can help me". When someone finally came over to help me I just told them I wanted everything remade. needless to say the whole entire time I was waiting for my food to be remade, she was still throwing her fits up and down the restaurant and mumbling under her breath. None of the other employees or the manager tried to calm her down. I'm trying to remain calm just because my kids are with me. After they got my food ready, I told the lady that was helping me then that all I did was ask a question and her coworker had no reason acting the way she did. The employee that orginally helped me started again in front of everyone at the restaurant and shouted once again she was having a bad day. They finally made her go outside. I paid for my food and left. Once outside, the employee screamed at me and called me a bitch and proceeded to flip me off. I told her I would be getting in touch with management and she stated "I've been here 9 years, they won't do anything to me". Very unprofessional and rude. If I would have done that at my job.. I would be fired. What makes it so bad is that my kids were there and not only my kids, but other customers and their kids.
