This waffle house has always been my favorite to go to in the past and even had a favorite waitress that knew my family and me. She would get the table ready as soon as we walked in. Since she moved out of state a few years back we have been coming back less and our recent visit was after not coming for over a year. I had my regular which was the All star with hash-browns instead of grits. This bf meal comes with a waffle, eggs, toast, grits(hashbrown) and a meat choice (bacon). I was disappointed on this visit, because first the coffee was too watery so I ask the waitress for a fresh pot of coffee. Secondly they were out of creamer so the waitress apologized and brought us a glass of milk. Third, they were also out of butter cups and put a dump of butter on my waffle. Lastly, when I took a bite out of my waffle I felt something crunch, which at first I thought it was the crispy ends, until my second bite that I took it out and it was pieces of egg shells. I have not had so many disappointing moments at Waffle house, but I have to say, what can I expect from a Waffle House. Overall the waitress was nice, wait time was quick and the area was semi-clean which is normal for a Waffle house to be. Well I have to say, I may come again but not anytime soon. read more

my husband and I went there last Thursday. I was ready to leave the moment We walked in the door. it was filthy. my husband had just gotten done with a colonoscopy so he ordered the All American breakfast. i ordered the patty melt with hashbrowns. only ate half of it. it was so nasty. by the time we got home I had a severe headache, nausea vomitting and diarrhea. so sick non-stop. my daughter and husband ended up on Saturday taking me to ER. Food poisoning. I was so dehydrated and vomiy and diarrhea were pure black. Food Poisoning. Was in the hospital for three days. Stay away from that filthy place if you don't want to get sick. Weekends at any Waffle House are chaotic. I worked at one while in college and had the chance to rotate around the city. I asked for my order to be dine-in, after waiting 10 minutes to be acknowledged I ordered. Then I am met with a sandwich wrapped and thrown in front of me (literally). The server explains it wasn't written to go on her pad yet she brought it that way I asked to just have the remaining part of the meal packed to go. Again bag thrown no follow up no opportunity to ask for anything else. I get their busy and while customer service isn't always served up fresh at the Waffle House, as a server we sure did our best to acknowledge our customers and not take the frustration out on them. read more

Kerry was our waitress and even though they were so busy, she made sure we were well taken care of and was very friendly even under busy conditions. The ambiance was busy but a quiet crowd. The food was perfect also. Now I have been to this location late at night and did not receive the excellent service and food that the morning crew rocked today. This particular Waffle House was built different from all the others I've been in. The layout on the inside was different. It even had a big, round corner booth (that was occupied by two women.) Service was slow. Very slow. But the food was delicious. Their waffle iron has the name built into it, so it stamps the waffles. This is the first one we've visited that had that, so the kids thought it was pretty cool. One of our waffles was half chocolate chip and half regular, by request. They were cooked to perfection too. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and the bacon was crispy, just how I like it. I didn't get pictures of any of it. I gobbled it down too quick. read more

The workers here are really fast and very considerate. The key is to come here during the afternoon on weekdays if you can since the limit on workers only messes up during busy days. Food is always hot and delicious we were immediately seated and got our drinks and food within ten minutes. I come here all the time and it's such a wonderful place although very cold. read more

I've been to close to 100 waffle houses by virtue of touring the country for years and having to eat late at night. This may have been the best Waffle House I went to. Our server was kind, funny, and very organized. The food came out correctly and really quickly. The ambiance is that of a normal Waffle House, but cleaner. read more

The hash browns were good but were a little under cooked and none of them were brown or crispy. Also the raisin toast was a little burnt. Went for a quick lunch on Sunday afternoon. Can honestly say that this is the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been to. Table was sticky. Floors were disgusting. Steady stream of people walking behind the counter . Unknown If they were off duty employees or friends of the employees. Building appears to be fairly new but up keep was embarassing. We made the mistake of eating here this morning but never again. Waited 10 minutes for service, another 10 minutes for drinks, my grill cheese was good but we were shocked to be billed $1.90 for water. it wasn't listed that they charge for water plus it was not made of gold. Terrible location. Love Waffle House, but this location is the worst. Have given them two tries but every time the employees have been miserable, yelling at each other and arguing while ignoring their guests. Food comes out wrong and/or cold because the waitresses are so incompetent. They are always out of something, like orange juice, grits, or some other item that they should definitely be keeping stocked. I don't know what they do to make their employees so miserable, but they should probably just fire everyone and bring in new management. Stopped at this Waffle House on the way to Mississippi. Only one table clean enough to sit at but the food was good. The food came out in a timely manner. The waitress was attentive. Friendly service from the other workers. The bathroom smelled nice and was clean. read more

Currently the only customers in the store and my order is was messed up and my food was cold...

We typically will eat at Waffle House for breakfast as opposed to grabbing a quick sandwich or another sit down place. This was a HUGE mistake on our part this morning. 1st, we walk in and there are at least 4 tables full of trash from who ever was there before us. So we chose to sit at one of the lower counter seats, and then realized issue #2. It was 55 degrees outside, not quite that warm inside. Then we order. Coffee, no cream but I need Splenda and a coke. She brings us coffee, NO Splenda and a coke, NO straw. Then goes over and starts doing dishes, never one time looking up. We end up asking someone who finally walked by for Splenda and a straw, a good 5 minutes after getting our drinks. Food order, hash brown bowl topped with sausage gravy, wheat toast and a 2-egg breakfast. Food came over quick, yay...oh wait. 2-egg breakfast was perfect, hash brown bowl, not so much. She says "we are out of gravy" and sits it down in front of me. I look at her and am like, it is too dry without gravy. She says we can heat up some gravy for you. Now, think back to issue #2, below 50 degrees in the restaurant. I tell her my breakfast would be cold by time the gravy is done. Ask her to make me a new one when the gravy was done. She then takes it back and I hear her say "he does not want it till the gravy is done". Then comes back and says okay, we will make a new one, it will be about 10 minutes before the gravy is done. So I order the all-star. Telling her I need sugar free syrup, she bring it out, of course my girl friend is done eating now, no sugar free syrup and white toast. Had to eat it real fast before it got cold in the Antarctic temps the have the place set at. We will NEVER be back to this one. read more

I have never seen a waffle house so nasty. The sidewalk is black, and not from what is tracked from the parking lot; but, what is tracked out of the restaurant on to the sidewalk. The restrooms are no exception. Filthy! We asked the hostess what the health score was, since they obviously had it hidden; when she came back from the hiding place she told us the health score was 94. I eat here frequently in the middle of the night, and I'm hardly ever disappointed, they have cleaned up, and have a wonderful staff, I usually get the same girl every time, her name is Amber and she is the absolute best, she has an amazing vibe about herself and is always making sure we're alright! read more

Came in this morning, 6/17/2016, for breakfast. After being ignored for 10 minutes, we left. Staff looked as though they could care less. We didn't hear a single order being called even though the store was pretty busy. One group that came in after us left before us. We took the hint. Will not return. read more
