we had a great experience at Casa Fiesta. there were 5 adults and a baby and our dishes were good. the guacamole was not my favorite - it was a little smoother than i'd like (i like a fresh chunky guac with tomatoes and onions) and it definitely was made some time before we got it. i got the burrito majorda (i think?) and it was well done. the flavors were right and i enjoyed it. husband got chile rellenos and was very pleased with how they came out. the fajita nachos were flavored well however the chips were thin and the fajita meat was cut thick so harder to eat. our server was very attentive and made sure our drinks were full and our meals were to our liking. the environment was your standard americanized mexican. they had big booths and tables and there was room to move in the aisles. overall we enjoyed our meals and had a nice evening out. we would return!! read more

No one was at the front to greet me so I stood there for two or three full minutes before someone came over to seat me. The two guys working that day were chatty with each other but not so much customers. 2/5 bathroom sanitation and needs. There's no hook for a purse or diaper bag for women. There is however, a baby changing table although it looked dirty. The space between the doors, the toilets, the sink, and the door into the restroom is LIMITED. Came here on National Margarita Day! My friends and I were also having ladies night out and came here on a whim to have some margaritas and kill some time. The restaurant was quite crowded but they seated the 6 of us in less than 5 mins... which was great. They were having a special of $3.99 margaritas on the rocks... with a variety of flavor options. We'd already eaten so we all got varied flavors of the special 'ritas and of course they brought chips and salsa. 3 stars because the 'ritas were tasty but not nearly potent. Tasty juice. Also our waitress was not pleasant. She'd come to the table and ask if anyone wanted anything, someone will reply yes...if they took more than a moment to say what that was, she'd say I'll be back... run off and do 5 other things and then have to be summoned back. For me... this was very annoying. In her mind, she was probably multitasking but the way she'd do it came off as rude. She didn't have a pleasant disposition to start... which made matters worse. Service is good, refills are fairly quick. Food is quick to come out and atmosphere is very standard if most Mexican restaurants. I had the #7 lunch special 2 burritos with red sauce and cheese. One beef and one chicken. The chicken is somehow wet or soggy and I didn't like the chicken. The beef is a 10/10 with the sauces. I've been here several times and this is my wife favorite restaurant. If not for her I would seek this place out. The sweet tea tasted old and the salsa was standard. This review is for me and not to reflect on the restaurant just a way for me to remember what I've tried and like or dislike. read more

This place...I'm not sure how they are still open. The food is terrible. How terrible? So bad I wouldn't feed it to a dog. If you've ever had Mayan food, this was reminiscent of that--totally flavorless. I went once when they first opened and they were really disappointing. I went a couple of years ago and they were no better. The third time was a couple of months ago. We ordered the chicken soup and the chilaquiles, which was totally flavorless and the chilaquiles were undercooked. They were also plopped on the plate in a mess. The Casa Fiesta in Trussville is the complete opposite of this place. I would love to know if the two have the same owners or if they are independent franchises. The one in Fultondale is TERRIBLE. Stopped back in and decided to try one of the specials written on the board, Nachos al Carbon. I chose steak for the meat and received a large platter of Nachos. They don't just use same chips you get as an appetizers, it came with lightly fried tortilla chips that were larger and much thicker. The toppings were abundant and tasty. read more
