It was the perfect blend and proportion of ingredients where nothing was lacking or overpowering. My husband asked me to leave a little for him to try and by the time I got to the last bite I was so sad I had to share! I also got the seasonal honey caramel crunch iced coffee which was soooo good and looked so pretty. There was about a 15 minute wait when we got there but the service was great and everything came out perfectly. Sadly my experience today at First Watch Vestavia location was a weak 4 out of 10. I had the works omelet with potatoes and I was only able to eat a couple bites the food was bland and the omelet filling was not cook or seasoned well. We order online here often and the food is always great but they are very understaffed. Most of the time the orders are over an hour past the estimated pickup times. The waits are usually over an hour for people coming in when half the tables are used. When my food arrived, it was missing strawberries, had cups of liquid whipped cream, and the food was completely burnt. I tried to eat one bite of the potatoes and they were somehow raw despite being blackened to a crisp. I called the store and the manager was the person who quality checked this order before sending it with the delivery person. I would have been embarrassed to send this to a customer. When asked for a refund or a fresh order, he said he couldn't send another or give a refund, and that I had to call corporate.
