Stopped here on my way to Texas and was so pleasantly surprised. We ordered a waffle, side of bacon, a two egg plater, and a breakfast sandwich. The waffle was so cool that it had a print of the "waffle house" in the middle. The hashborwns were nice and crispy. The toast was ver toasty and buttered perfectly. The eggs were very fresh and delicious. The bacon was nice and frispy brown and very good. The food is very affordable for the whole family to enjoy. The drinks were fresh adn we got the chocolate milk, orange juice, coffee and tea. The orange juice was sweet and orangey and was good. The chocolate milk was very good. The coffee was okay and was black coffe and with the right amount of sugar and honey made it perfect. The black tea was alright although it would be better if they had different flavor teas available as well. The staff was super friendly and outgoing and very happy to chat along with her. We ordered our food and our order came out so quickly. The bathrooms were very clean. There was no mess in the bathroom. The only thing that I would say about it is that they only have one bathroom each but it was no problem at all. The restaurant was very clean and small but perfect. I am deeply disturbed by the horrors that went on in this establishment. After this experience, I need therapy for the rest of my life. As I walked into this Waffle House, I saw what could only be described as something paranormal. There he was, sitting at table with his humongous blue hoodie and long red beard. He sat there staring at one of the workers, she was visibly uncomfortable. I'm guessing she was his waitress. As sat down at my table I heard a terrifying scream. He was brought his food and he devoured it in one second. I still remember the order to this day.... 60 hash brown bowls with gravy and onion, 100 waffles, and 20 mr pibbs. He ate it in one second, food went flying everywhere. The next thing that happened was out of a horror movie. He proceeded to scream "IM STILL HUNGRY" and ate the poor waitress. He then got up and started devouring everyone in his sight. I ducked down and hoped he didn't see me. But instead of seeing me... he smelled me. He ran 50 miles an hour at me, I barely escaped. But I made it to the back and threw whatever waffles were out at him and escape. 3/5 The waffles were good but caseoh honestly just made the experience unpleasant, would visit again. read more

Was your typical Waffle House experience. I really love their pecan waffles but there isn't one near where I live. I wanted one badly but we had pets on our trip so I was happy this was near our hotel our last night. I went early the next morning. The staff was friendly in the usual Waffle House sense. The kitchen clean as well and if you haven't been the kitchen is totally open and runs the length of the store where you eat. I was going to have the waffle and two egg breakfast. I didn't realize there was two different meals called two egg breakfast so I ordered quite a bit. Perhaps more than I should. I got my pecan waffle perfectly cooked and crisp w real butter and syrup. Crisp bacon eggs toast and hash browns. They have a lot of things you can add to the hash browns but I ordered plain. It really filled my belly for the road and helped brighten a bit of a dreary day. It was raining lightly and we were worn out from our two week trip by then. And excellent value and so glad to get to visit a WH again. read more

We stopped for the night at the Hampton Inn across the street from Waffle House. My wife was excited for it because we haven't had it in a long time. Ordered two meals to go both covered and smothered. One had that the other nothing. Also had to go back inside and ask for silverware since my order was to go. Haven't been to a Waffle House in a while since none are near where I live. It was just as good as I remember. The over easy eggs were perfectly cooked, the bacon just slightly crisp and the waffle had great flavor. Chose the grits, instead of hash browns; glad I did. The staff were pleasant and attentive. Just stopped fir breakfast in this Waffle House in Lonoke. I been wanting to go since I have seen many Waffle Houses and I've never been there before and it's always busy. The first thing I noticed in this location is that they don't even greet you or acknowledge your presence. We waited for a while and no one greeted us. So I felt like a ghost,, I had to speak up to be acknowledged. Other people who came after that were seated before us, like they knew them. I was shocked because of that rudeness but still decided to try their food. The food was ok , I liked the bacon because it was perfectly made and the flavor was very good. I also like the that the hashbrown tasted like fresh potatoes not the dry at all. They kinda melted in your mouth! The eggs did seamed overcooked, but it didn't really matter. I wish these employees ( the ladies)) would make you feel more welcome, even by a simple smile, not with the grouchy face they had and definitely not ignoring you. It just made me feel unwelcomed and honestly like not going to another Waffle House again. Sometimes the people greeter makes all the difference in your dinning experience even if not all the food it to your liking. I just know that I will not be going to this location ever again, and it's just too bad because not all employees in all locations are like that read more

I am a big fan of Waffle Houses but this was not what I was use to. The wait staff was what I look forward too, freindly, very attentive and just a sweet young girl. She was great. Now for the rest of the story... The facilities were not clean for a new resturant....tables greasy, floors dirty, not appealing. Then the food.. Ordered a standard breakfast with eggs over easy, hash browns, scatered chopped, sausage and whole wheat toast...basic waffle house fair. The hash browns were great, eggs over hard, white bread toast, an over cooked baby hockey puck sausages...not the best Waffle House breakfast I have had over the last 20 years. Will I go back, not soon. The high light of the experience was visiting with the young waitress, I hope she got the tip I left as she is very real an friendly...was like visiting with my daughter.... I have never been to a Waffle House before - I live in California - but if this location is indicative of the restaurant chain, I'm impressed. As I walked in, I noticed how clean the establishment was (cooking are, tables, floor was recently mopped) and I was immediately greeted with friendly hellos and good mornings from the cooks and wait staff. Melissa helped me and she was very attentive and sweet. I rarely do reviews but I felt compelled to share my great first experience. read more

The waitress was SUPER helpful, nice and accommodating. Everyone was either cleaning or helping customers. It wasn't even that busy (Christmas eve) & they busted their hump almost as if it was a packed house! The worst place I've ever known. The staff would not say hello or seat us or acknowledge we were there. They were crowded but could have said hello and we will b with you in a minute. My god it doesn't take much to have some courtesy. So after 15 minutes of waiting we left and still nothing from these folks. They just don't care. If the owner or manager sees this you have a problem and you need to chew some asses out on this shift. They should be ashamed of themselves. My lord what a terrible place. Before I start this review, I'll say that I LOVE Waffle House, I eat Waffle House probably 3 times a week, and I have always had great experiences with great food! Now.... It would be zero stars if that was an option, since I never even got to eat. Came in, the 2 black women working there told us we needed to sit in the corner of the restaurant, because the other corner of the establishment was disgusting and had not been cleaned, even though the waitresses were on their phones. We sat down, and that was the end of it. No one ever came to our table the entire time. A few other couples came in the restaurant, and were helped, and eventually got their food, and we were still never helped. As I got extremely angry, I left before i did/said something stupid. This place needs some new management, and needs new employees! Interesting thing is, it was not busy and it was not a peak hour...it was at 10pm on a Thursday evening. Avoid here. read more

I've been to half a dozen Waffle Houses in the past few months and this one was by far the best. The restaurant was clean and the service was impeccable. My coffee was always full and the food was served fast and warm. I ordered eggs, ham, grits, and a waffle. The eggs were perfectly over medium - the whites didn't get burnt or papery and the yolk was nice and gooey. The ham was good, and the grits were buttery and at the perfect consistency. The waffle was standard waffle house fare. The staff was friendly and fast and even though I was the only customer in the restaurant, the positive attitude of the employees gave the place a lively, welcoming atmosphere. read more

The staff is rude as hell the disrespectful this girl mad at the world sprayed me with water 3 times and when I asked her not to keep spraying me and my food she got an attitude and said " I'm.trying to do my job!" I was taken back in absolute awwwwwweeee. She was rude to my waitress she must not like people too Much. The cook offered to make my food at the end of my food but she heard her attitude toward everyone including me did nothing.
